Wow, what a beautiful Hotel! I had such a magical weekend with my partner for our anniversary and the staff here made it all the more magical.

Have stayed here many times, great place great staff, great view. One of my fav' s ❤

As a suggestion may I say that a box of tissues would be a pleasant addition in the room. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Loved staying here, we went for a works Xmas party, the food was amazing. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud, best sleep ever! Great powerful shower and breakfast was to die for! So many choices! Would definitely come back again.

Great location, close to the beach & the centre but far enough away, everything walking distance. So perfectly set up & suited for the Gold Coast.

A cute boutique hotel with a nice bar (slightly expensive) and a restaurant that puts on the most extensive breakfast buffet I have ever seen (with the best scrambled eggs! ). There is also a funky Japanese bar/restaurant but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it. The staff were very friendly and helpful although there is no valet parking. My biggest complaint is that I like a firm bed and our bed and pillows were way, way too soft for comfort. It was what I would imagine sinking into a giant squishy marshmallow would feel like. Also, I find it unacceptable to be charged for parking. Surely as a 'guest' it could be included.

We had an awesome stay. The buffet in Bazaar is amazing. Harry our waiter for the evening was a star. Checking out was super quick and easy, the lady that looked after us was amazing, don’t know her name but she had 2 broken wrists. Thank you for a great stay, will be back.

Very comfortable and clean place. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pool and outside lounging area. My wife loved the hanging seats near the pool. Reasonable priced too. I was able to get this room for $152 a night over the weekend. Has interesting decor as well.

The QT is always my hotel of choice, whether it be the Gold Coast, Sydney or Melbourne. The staff are always incredibly friendly and the vibe is cool, funky and refreshing. The minute you walk in the door you are able to forget your stresses and you immediately feel like you're on holiday — whether you are or not! Love it!

We have just spent two night at QT for our wedding anniversary. We live locally, and have been to Yamagen before, which was excellent as usual! Unfortunately there were so many other things that let us down. The room was fine, although the phone didn’t work. I ended up calling reception from my mobile to order room service. The chips were half cold, leading me to believe only some were fresh… not appetising at all (and way too much salt… if you can literally see it, it’s too much) I then wanted to order the lemonade pack, so called reception on my mobile again, but 5 calls later, all rung out, meant I missed out too! The pool needs tiles where there are some missing, and the breakfast, while the food was good, I personally don’t think a cup of tea should be drunk from a paper cup, that doesn’t fit under the milk dispenser! Such a shame that it was the little things that let your service down… won’t be back unless it’s to go to Yamagen, there are far too many hotels around to compete.

Brilliant hotel with lovely staff. King ocean view room has a wonderful view (slightly impacted by new apartments wind built — but higher floors not so much, we were on 11) easy 10 min walk along beach path to shops and restaurants. Pool and spa are great with sun chairs and pool bar. Would happily stay again or recommend to a friend. Beds are also super comfy!

It's definitely Quirky Time at QT, with unusual bits and pieces all over the place. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. This is definitely more of a venue for adults as there isn't the range of activities for kids that you'll find at other resort-style hotels. The late-night bar seemed to be very popular and the extensive Japanese bar and restaurant looked very mysterious and elegant. It's only a few blocks north of the Surfers circus and just two blocks from the sand. The tram is also very convenient so the casino is a short ride from the pool and spa. Worth a stay.

It was nice with great views and a really good location. The staff were friendly and the restaurants were very nice with good vegetarian options. The decor was a bit tacky though and the double bed was just two single beds pushed together with a double mattress over them. Its not too bad but it does leave a lump in the middle of the bed which was uncomfortable to sleep on. So you just have to sleep a bit to the side. All up I would recommend this place if you wanted something within walking distance to the shops and beach.

We just spent 3 nights at the QT. Checkin was easy, the bar and Japanese restaurant were great. When we went to get into bed on the first night we noticed there was what appeared to be blood on the sheets. I rang reception were somewhat apologetic and told us they’d send someone up to change the sheets. 10 minutes later there was a knock at the door and the disinterested — I’m assuming concierge — asked me how many sheets I needed. I was then handed sheets and left to strip and remake the bed myself. The cleanliness of the whole room was very poor there was lots of hair in the bathroom. It appears that the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned but merely wiped over. As a whole the QT Gold Coast is in need of a good clean — all the carpets are stained and every thing is looking tired. The beds were terrible.
On a positive note the buffet breakfast is fantastic!

Clean modern room with a lovely view. Bed was comfy and pillow menu was a nice touch. Would have been nice if they opened the breakfast early as so many people were there for the Gold Coast marathon and like me probably paid for breakfast, but couldn't actually have it. Maybe it's the chain but it was super commercial, you could even buy the lamp in your room. The shower was pretty poor for a nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We went for a birthday party, the staff lost the birthday banner and a piece of the birthday cake. We spoke to others there for a wedding and they didn't get let into their room in time for the wedding so had no time to get ready, $8 parking on top of the stupid room price, food price was over the top as well, then to top it off Sunday morning had 6 police walking 2 blokes out in handcuffs. If there was a no star option I'd give it.

We had a Mother’s Day Event and Church Service in one of the rooms here and these guys went above and beyond for us! Such great service and a beautiful welcoming environment. Sure made our Mother’s smile from ear to ear! Thanks QT for your great hospitality! Definitely recommend this place to everyone! Renata and the team she was with were super amazing! Thanks once again.

Thank you very much QT, I had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful at all times. The Housekeeper kept asking if I needed a room tidy up which was lovely. Special mention to Ben in concierge and Ashley at the desk for being so eager for me to enjoy my stay. I will be back, thanks again…

Always a very pleasant experience coming to QT Gold Coast. Rooms: Quirky and spacious. Pool: Has a spa attached and is very clean and roomy. Food and drinks: Home of my favourite Japanese restaurant. Yamagen. Buffet breakfast at bazaar is also my favourite with such a large variety of breakfast foods and stingray bar offers some really nice cocktails. Service: Staff are friendly and always smiling and looking presentable. Atmosphere: 10/10. Overall this hotel is the happening place and always buzzing. My home away from home and the only hotel I’d go to in Gold Coast.

Beds are so comfortable that it was a pleasure to sleep in. The location is only a 5 min walk to Cavill Avenue. The beach is so close as well. Funky styling throughout the hotel is very different. The hotel bar is great and was pumping on a Saturday night. Rooms are quiet.

I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway a while back. I was refused entry to the restaurant because my forearm tattoos were showing. I never have problems at the Hilton or other 5 star accommodation. Yes, money talks, but I would expect even a cheap hotel to provide access to a restaurant to a sober, well presented and well mannered guest even if their skin is not to the establishment's liking. Are we stuck in the 60's again? I simply can't comment on the facilities and service during my stay as I was blinded by shock and disbelief on my first night.

We arrived to collect our tickets just after 4pm. There was no free water available. We were handed our tickets and not told any more other than cyclists were about to arrive. Apparently there are several areas to watch the games we were not told anything about the facilities other than the free water had run out, no effort to get more. However we did meet another NZ family who were very friendly and we were very pleased Sam Webster allowed their children to be photographed with him and wearing his Gold Medals. Well done Sam. Get yourself a room on the top floors with proper ocean view, and wake up before the dawn to watch the magical sunrise — you're welcome. Not the best hotel I have been to, but very cute and quirky little touches here and there that make it feel different and special. Cleanliness gets a 4/5, but good location and a nice place to stay for long weekend or so.

Excellent modern hotel. The breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had, no exaggeration. The bar also has great food too. Accommodation is clean and well appointed. Overall recommended.

I’m so stoked. Just ate all the things and drank all the things for brunch today. A massive shout out to the guys who replenish the buffet… you knew I was coming and made sure to keep the Oysters happening like a man at sea. Also I’d like to point out. The riddles are free and loads of fun if you get the right host. Ps. I’m sorry about my PA Jessie Smart. She kept saying she was topping up our Champaign from the food bar. But really… I found her doing body shots in the toilets. Hahahahaha just kidding. Best brunch ever. Thank you for making our bridal brunch the best brunch ever to brunch in the history of brunching. Try the fried chicken and waffles.

Very very disappointed with our stay here. From no response to an email I sent to losing my bag between reception and the room for an hour, the old old toilets by the pool and the tiny tiny pool towels really only child size. Bed was horrible, pillows horrible and in general a very average room. Being served at the Stingray bar by young guys meant even though we were next in line they went to the young group of girls instead. Spa overpriced and food at the cafe inedible. Never ever again.

At first I like to thank Claire who took my booking over the phone, she's is so professional, nice, helpful and even gave me a good deal. She advice me to be a member so I can get a deal on my next bookings. She booked me in a very nice room with a breathtaking ocean and city view. Room is clean and spacious. All up me and my husband had a wonderful weekend at your hotel. It made it more special as its my surprise bday present to my husband.

A hotel like nothing you've seen before. Everything I ate here was top notch. The buffet was the best I've had anywhere in the world. Would stay here again without hesitation.

First time visitors to QT Surfers were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of welcome by the front of house people. Very helpful & informative. Room with a lovely view & balcony, enabled us to unwind from our travels. Pool & Spa were a joy. Concierge surprised how "brave" we were in the inclement weather until I told him we were Victorians! Lovely to relax in a peaceful & quiet setting. Stingray bar was welcoming with ample beers on tap & a great ambiance. Buffet breakfast was a pleasure to the eye & the stomach! A Fabulous stay in a great establishment.

Top quality food at QT Bizarre! So good for a special occasion. I really liked the meat selections, lamb, chicken, beef with some really yummy sauces. You can request a steak and they will cook and bring it to you. I didn’t think the Asian/Indian were that great. Desserts were perfect Very happy.

Very good hotel with nice views at a good location and the best quality buffet breakfast I have ever experienced. Service was prompt and with a smile, though we were puzzled by an empty water jug and lemon holder, since the card next to it told us to enjoy out complementary lemon water, with instructions on how to squeeze the non-existent lemon into the non-existent water. Oh well, It's the thought that counts. Our top floor room aircon was too warm for comfort, with no way to adjust the temperature further, which was the only negative aspect. Friends staying on the lower floors did not have the same issue. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

Room was small but didn't feel pokey. Nicely laid out with fantastic views. Bed was comfortable and the decor throughout the hotel was pretty cool. Bar staff were friendly and the drinks were good. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel decorations are nice and rooms are beautiful. We were given a room on 22nd floor with superb view but it did not have balcony, although the balcony was in our confirmation. Room service was late some days without replacing some stuff that they needed to. The bed was OK, the room spacious and the carpets clean. The bathroom did not have a bathtub and we were struggling with adjusting hot and cold water taps all the time. The breakfast and restaurants were perfect; plenty of variety. Swimming pool very small for that hotel size and number of guests. Finding a recliner by the pool was always a challenge. Location was awesome; close to shopping and a short walk to the beach. Asked for a late checkout couple of days prior to checkout date; were told to ring on the day and when did so, we were told that only one hour is possible for the late checkout. All in all it was an average hotel with some highlights.

Have stayed a few times now on my own for work and for gc getaway with my fiance and it's always great. Clean and super soft comfy beds! Service is great and Stingray bar has a very trendy atmosphere for a quick drink or dinner and a dance without having to leave the building, and popular with the locals.

Loved this hotel — 3 mins walk from the lovely Surfer's Paradise beach and 5 mins walk from this lovely area with lots of restaurants! We didn't use public transport but there was a tram station right across the street too. The rooms are beautiful and tasteful and the people at the front desk were super cheerful and helpful!

We went to a Xmas Party at QT & as always the food & customer service was excellent! I have to say that we have never had a bad meal at this place but agree that ther rooms could use a little updating. I love the funkiness of the place & the vibe in general. Helpful staff that smile! Can’t ask for much more than that!

We had an amazing stay. Every staff member we came in contact with was lovely. In pool bar was just the best! Would stay again!

Ideal location, only a short 5-10 minute walk from all the local restaurants. Same for the shopping center and attractions, plenty to do. Rooms are great, very spacious, well kept and well stocked mini bar/fridge. Laundry services, spas and oh my word the breakfast setup, so glad we had that, a great selection of things to choose from, really impressed me there! Bags were picked up on arrival and taken to our rooms ahead of us while we checked in. All around a great hotel, would definitely return and recommend to friends and/or family.

Everything from the beautiful ocean views to the gorgeous room with deep tub to the fantastic cuisine QT is top-notch. Staff and management were attentive, professional and just lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Although my room 1315 could you a little TLC.

Rooms were neat and clean with a fair number of items available to purchase, ie thongs, table lamps, goodies, etc. No bath. There was also a great breakfast layout available. Close to the beach and lots of other restaurants close by.

We always love to stay here, retro hip designed hotel, lovely staff, terrific breakfasts. Love the fact I can drink cocktails at Stingrays and then walk upstairs. See you in November x.

The hotel itself is beautiful; the decorations, the pool area, the room, everything is lovely. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Our first room's aircon didn't work but reception immediately changed us to another room and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for the inconvenience! We also got a free welcome beer at the hotel bar, and free towels to take with us to the beach. Overall an incredible hotel and wonderful service!

The quality of the service was very good and aesthetically looked very high quality and modern. Every part of the experience was enjoyable and relaxing. The food provided was also very good, steaks could be better.

I almost choked on my toast when I read that QT Hotel is '5 Stars', come again? I don't think so. Where to begin. Firstly, the decor in the lobby reception area is outdated, tired & a strangely dark cafe? Check in process was a shambles, with a requested early check in our room wasn't available until after 2:30pm and was left waiting, while the receptionist randomly left mid way through. Enter the room and this is where things really start to fall apart. Concierge were late with our bags. Water damaged cabinets, bubbling paint on the ceiling, faulty light fittings to a mans trousers left in the cupboard? Less than impressive. A renovation done on a budget & the 'funky' vibe does it no favours in covering up the flaws. On checkout, I went to the dark cafe and ordered myself a coffee which was the equivalent to a warm cup of milk. On the positive, the pillows were soft?

Excellent staff (shout out to Ben for the extra help on our first night! ). Rooms are well appointed, view was awesome-we were mid building (just double digit floor) and could see wide and far. Only lower point was the chilly pool, but the heated spa was well used. Would be very refreshing in the summer. Restaurants are varied, busy, and accommodating-nothing was too difficult, and staff were attentive and present without being pushy or hovering. Bazaar has a choice for everyone be it breakfast or dinner, Fixx is good for a snack, but Yamagen is a dinner experience that should not be missed. Stayed and dined as a family of two adults with an infant.

High marks on restaurant atmosphere. Buffet chef nice, moussaka super yummy, lovely warm rustic feel… great for those who aren't chasing seafood particularly at the buffet since oysters were quite small and not too many other seafood choices. Crabs were cooked ok compared to other nearby buffets where it's often overcooked and dry.

This is a hotel that is well located in Surfers Paradise with excellent, clean rooms and superlative facilities. The breakfast buffet is varied and well presented with a wide range of tastes accommodated in a very comfortable dining area. Excellent friendly staff, checkin was easy, getting about the hotel well signed and the common areas light and airy.

QT was a surprise package in a very positive way. The staff greeted me with the news I had been upgraded to a suite. The service was friendly and the facilities were outstanding. I would stay at QT again.

Food is very good! Accommodation is clean and comfy. Had a twin single room. Bathroom toiletries were chic and good. The vibe of the whole place is very casual/beach theme, yet luxurious. Enjoyed my stay here. Conference amenities were good and catering was brilliant.

Mostly excellent hotel, food great, service good. Receptionists helpful but their appearance a bit disconcerting they look ridiculous with all the makeup and plastic surgery. The bed and previous beds slept in here are too soft making sleep difficult and resulting in sore back.

Our stay was perfect. The bed was SO comfy. The free champagne for my birthday was really lovely and the sweeties left on the bed were very well received at midnight when we got home from birthday celebrations! Thanks so much. AND! You managed to put my friend in the room next to us which was a great touch. Thanks xx.

Amazing place. Loved the ambiance and everyone was really friendly. I felt at home here and would highly recommend it. We only stayed for one night and it was great. It's close to the beach, entertainment, and food. They also offered us free self parking so that was a definite plus for us.

We have stayed at QT Gold Coast several times before, but really feel like the standard has slipped since the last time we visited. While the rooms are 'funky', they are beginning to feel dated. In particular, the wardrobes and cupboards need major updating. Our bed was ridiculously uncomfortable, way too soft and offered no support. We have loved your beds in the past to the point we were even going to buy one, but I don't know if we got a dodgy, but it was awful. Our room was only serviced once in our six night stay despite being out of our room for several hours every day. Our visit to Bazaar for dinner was also a let down, and didn't compare to our previous experiences. Onto the positives — The buffet breakfast was amazing as per usual, the selection and quality of food is really great. The room service menu is reasonable and delicious, though sometimes we had trouble getting through. I can't rate the spa highly enough, I had several spa treatments and found them amazing, relaxing, dignified and of exceptional quality. The taco night at the Stingray Lounge was also a highlight. All the staff we came across were friendly, attentive and helpful. We aren't sure if we will stay again, I feel as if there are hotels in the surfers area that are better value for money.

Very elegant room, clothing adapted to the situation (they make selection at the entrance) prices of the highest cocktails of the average. Recommended, even if it closes at midnight!

We only had a 2 day stay but next time it will be a week+. Breakfasts were excellent. Peaceful & quiet at night. Will recommend you to our friends & relos.

I have always been a fan of the QT hotel in Sydney and Gowings steakhouse is my favourite steak restaurant but I have to say QT GC is quite amazing, not only was the stingray bar cocktails done well, when ordering the room service — the caesar salad (and I am a caesar critique) is probably the best i've had in quite some time, and if you order the wagyu beef burger, yes it is sinfully nice but the fries comes dressed in cheese & truffle… I had to write a review!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the QT Gold Coast and had a splendid experience. The decor was unique emphasising a beach feel of a sixties nature. All the staff from Jack Jeffris at the front door to Martin Litke the front office manager ensurede we were relaxed and comfortable. We enjoyed chocolate coated strawberries and Mumm champagne in our room and then ventured to the Bazaar Restaurant for both Dinner and Breakfast. After being Marriot members for many years we were impressed with both the ambience and the food. Thank you QT for helping us create such a great memory for our 25th anniversary.

Every member of staff we meet was bubbly, energetic and seemed genuinely eager to assist in any way possible. From the first lady to check us in to the wonderful lady whom checked us out (and everyone in between including the gentleman who popped down to grab some bikes for us), everyone was a pleasure to be around and a pleasure to see and speak to. They hosted my 21st birthday and everything went perfectly. Great food, even better drinks. Hotel rooms are quirky and clean. Beautiful ocean view.

We stayed saturday, sunday and Monday and no one cleaned our room even tho Saturday morning 8am we put the little sign saying tidy up came. Back to. The hotel thinking were coming to nice tidy hotel after a long day and it was the same. Nexr day same thing… we went to reception personally and asked for it to be clean as it was our "Honeymoon" and we want clean sheets and towels. Went out for the day and still nothing was cleaned. They did howevrr give us a new room after 2 days of dirty room. The worse of all our trip was no one told us when is check out time on our last day so the hotel decided to automatically check us out and take all our belongings lucky we had taken most of it but the most expensive stuff was left in the hotel like my bee venom face cream and manuka honey hand cream. The house keeping took our stuff that wss left there and loses it! And they cant find them. And then they try to blame it on us and ssy well u should of checked out at 12. I was so furious and I said even we didnt check that doesnt give u the right to lose our stuff at least call us and say look u forgot some stuff here we will put them aside. Now its been 3 days no one has called or emailed us when they said they will call us next morning. Overall I hated my stay at the QT hotel surfers paradise they ruined our honeymoon! And lost our stuff.

Furniture was bright and cheerful but seemed a little run down in our room. Bed was very comfortable best part of stay. Buffet was awesome, same price as the sheraton mirage but a lot better. Room service was slow had trouble ringing twice and got put through to front desk twice. The wait for breakfast was quite long but staff were apologetic. Didn't like that when we were checked out I declared one drink from the mini bar and then got a suprise charge after check out for drinks we did not consume. That put me off staying again.

My husband and I stayed in the king Ocean view room on the 17th to the 19th of july 2015 for our celebration of 20 years together we had a fabulous time we were happy with the room and staff were lovely.

Modern feel and attentive staff. Our TV wasn't working, they came straight up and when they couldn't fix it moved us immediately. Were also flexible in offering a late checkout during a busy period, thanks! Restaurant is great at this venue, had actually visited QT Bazaar twice for dinner before staying at the hotel, fairly decent standard of food for the Gold Coast. Rooms have a fresh feel to them, makes all the other hotels in the area look old. Enjoy.

Amazing hotel. Nicole looked after our group of 44 people and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant (Bazaar) had the best dinner buffet I have ever had and the breakfasts were amazing too. I will definitely be back.

I used to be a regular visitor to the QT Gold Coast, but I won't be staying there again! The staff at reception were rude, definitely not welcoming and everything was an effort. Madelline at front reception is especially not suited to the job, it is totally unacceptable for a staff member to say (amongst other things), "well you can't just pick and choose what room you want you know' (in a huffy, irritated manner) after we asked for a room on a higher floor (we did request the possibility of a room on a higher floor month's in advance). The barman at Stingray on the weekend of Australia Day should clearly be working in another industry as customers were an annoyance to him and he clearly had issues about serving people, his behaviour toward my guest was rude and condescending and wanted to get into an unpleasant debate with myself (we had only just arrived at his very quiet bar in the afternoon from the pool and asked for a drink). So rude! However, the staff at and around the pool bar were very good that weekend and Ben went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy and attended to, a shining example. The chefs and restaurant staff at Bazaar were very good on the whole. The food was delicious (thank you), I will visit the restaurant again. I am really disappointed that the QT Gold Coast has gone down so much, but with a few changes and staff changes it could be one of the great places to stay on the Coast again.

The most appalling hotel check-in experience I've ever had. No "welcome" or "hello" — my greeting was "name? ".

Absolutely appalling service especially from the front counter staff. I will NEVER stay here again they have no customer service skills what so ever. They should take less time on their make up and more time tuning there customer service skills.

We loved our stay at the QT Gold Coast. Staff were friendly and efficient and wear the best uniforms in the hospitality business! The hotel itself is super funky and cool, it's an art work in itself. The room itself was modern and well equipped with lots of signature cool. Everything was of a great standard from the mini bar to the bathroom toiletries, the QT has thought of everything. Both the bar and the restaurant are definitely worth a visit, and don't forget to visit the QT boutique and take a little bit of the QT home with you. This is our new go to place on the Gold Coast — it's all kinds of awesome.

Quirky with excellent service. Breakfast was great value and great variety. Have just been to a conference which was well organised and well catered. The rooms have lots of natural light and are well decorated. Staff couldnt bee more helpful The full sized picture of a person in the lift mirror is a bit freaky as you think there is really someone in the lift with you.

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at QT. We have been staying with you since your major renovation in 2012 and have found the experience to be second to none on each occasion. All of the QT staff make it a pleasure to be there and their attitude makes it feel like home. We will be spending Christmas and New Year with you again. Thank you. David.

In general its a very cute hotel. I just found it to be lacking a bit of polish. After checking in online, I received a phone call to confirm my check-in. When I queried this double up I was advised that 'that system doesn't talk to our system'. So whats the point? As we were travelling, we arrived at the hotel a little earlier than 2pm and I attempted to check-in so we could park the car and get organised (fully understanding that our room would not be ready until 2pm). The lady at reception was lovely, but simply stated that 'we could not check in, come back at 2pm'. It was not until I prompted her about car parking, using the facilities etc etc did she explain anything about the venue and our options. Also, we prepaid accommodation and breakfast and as we ate breakfast with a larger party who weren't staying at the hotel (they paid the bill), breakfast was paid for twice. I was unable to receive a invoice at checkout as the printer cartridge was running low (why didn't she change it? ), so had to wait until I returned home to view the emailed invoice. Upon ringing the QT that same day to query the double charge (spoke to Patrick 28th October 1:30pm). I felt he was quite short and uninterested in coming to a resolution. He stated that its not their problem and the Bazaar are a completely different entity. He took no responsibility for the double charge and the best he could do was offer to 'transfer me through to Bazaar'.

I really love this hotel — the rooms, the staff, the efficiency and the friendliness all rank high. It was a great conference space too. I recommend QT GC to anyone who has to go up there. It's seriously just the best 'vibe' any hotel I know has. Only one critisism to help with ideas for improvement: I find the gluten free options a bit passé or in the case of dessert, non existent. Gluten free people don't want weird immitation bread. It's never going to be the same so why offer something yucky? We're super happy with simple meat and veg like a chicken salad or roast veg and lamb salad. Simple stuff. And the dessert buffet had 2 crumbles one that was gluten free the other that wasn't, yet the same spoon. People with an allergy therefore couldn't have any dessert as the risk of same spoon is not worth it. Please don't let that be something to tarnish my view of te stay, it's more just to help out and make a great hotel even better. Thanks again :-).

I stayed here last year as an attendee of ProBlogger Conference and couldn't fault the venue AT ALL. The food, the service, the cocktails, even the strength of the Wi-Fi with 250 bloggers tweeting in the ballroom together. I just checked out after this year's ProBlogger Conference and it certainly wasn't the same experience. The quality of the food has dropped and the Wi-Fi was far from coping – the tech support indicated that they were throttling the Wi-Fi based on need. It's like they don't even understand the conference audience, we use a LOT of data. I ended up paying to up my 4G data allowance. Our room service orders weren't correct, if they turned up at all. We had to wait 90 minutes for our room order, before ringing to find out that our order was dropped due to the main ingredients running out (for burgers/chips). No one even thought to tell us. The following night only half of our order was received. Reception staff were lovely and gave us $50 back on our bill. But the food management leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of my fellow attendees had similar complaints.

I liked it and enjoyed our time there. A couple of small things. Our room took a long time to get made up in the mornings, yet our friends (next door) was done early and we all left the rooms at the same time. Which I thought was odd. Also the room service trays of other rooms were in the hallway for most of the day. The hotel itself is lively and enjoyable to be in. Thank you.
