A lovely park, big sites. Lots of room without being on top of each other’s sites. Very nice reception staff, extremely helpful in marking on the map where everything of interest and food outlets are in town. The amenities block is very clean and central to all the sites.

We have just spent a beautiful week here. The park is the best presented park we have stayed in. An absolute credit to the owners/managers/cleaners & grounds people.
Huge sites, dog friendly, quiet and great communication via text from management when events like wood fired pizza, fresh seafood & markets are happening.

We are staying at the park for a few weeks on an ensuite site. In my opinion it is one of the best parks in which we have stayed. The grounds, amenities and surrounds are beautifully maintained. As soon as a site is vacated cleaning staff and ground staff immediately clean and mow the site. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the township is clean, tidy and well maintained. There are a number of local eateries and seafood seems to be a specialty. Under two hours from Sunshine Coast and a sealed road now takes you further north to Maryborough and the Bruce Hwy. (saving time driving back to Gympie if heading north)

A beautifully appointed park can really recommend the cabins but plenty of space for all types of camping and facilities and central to the many activities the area provides.

First time staying at your establishment, would highly recommend, office staff are so friendly and helpful going back at Easter thank you all for a pleasant stay.

Lovely big park staff extremely friendly and helpful, knowledgeable on local things, wished I was staying a few more days.

Fantastic place!
Clean, well organised, 2min walk to the beach and the heated pool is awesome. You can't find staff nicer than the ladies working here, they're so very accommodating and welcoming.
The park was full when we booked but they've kindly located us in the overflow section, which is even better than the main area, with trees, lush grass and birds!

Brand new ablution block and camp kitchen. Grassy sites large although not perfectly level but there’s enough room for manoeuvring on the site. Lovely friendly staff.

The managers Mel and Steve are so welcoming, helpful and professional. The site is clean, well organised and beautifully appointed. It is situated close to everything there is to see and do in Tin Can Bay. Highly recommend it!

We had such a great time in Tin Can Bay tourist park. We (daughter & friend) enjoyed comfortable sleep and super clean and spacious two bedroom cabin. Steve and Mel are such enthusiastic hosts who had lots of fun suggestions for local attractions. Definitely coming back.

We have only been here a day and this place is fantastic. The cabins are huge, clean and well equipped. The location is great and so close to everything. We fed the dolphins by hand this morning and it was not only an experience that my 7 year old will remember forever but mum and dad as well. The owners well they could not be more accommodating and also knowledgeable of the area. Can’t wait for the next few days here. Trish Tyler and Joe and Max Petty.

Tin Can Bay is a very quiet little town. Great for fishing, boating and feeding wild dolphins. A couple of supermarkets, a bakery, cafes and good meals at The Marina Bar and Grill. Tin Can Bay Motel had a microwave oven in the room and is pet friendly! A quiet motel to stay at and very clean.

Super clean, fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. Gave us some great tips on the local area. Beautiful gardens, great quiet location.

Very clean room and excellent value for money.

I loved how tidy and quite it was (the first night, second night a group of bikers were staying in several rooms so it was rather noisy that night after 10pm when they got back from drinking and when they started leaving before 8am the next morning). The bed was so comfortable I slept for 12 hours that first night. The shower has great pressure and it felt like hot needles going over my back. Staff and dog were very friendly Had microwave and jug plus a bar fridge and TV plus bedside lamps and two seater dining table. Only down side was the ceiling paint in the bathroom was pealing away and there was black speckled mould all over the ceiling too. We had the bathroom fan on and opened the window after showering (it's winter so was too cold to leave it open while using the shower). We informed the front desk upon checking out and am certainly sure they would of treated the mould by now. It was such a quiet place compared to the city and not much of street lights or light pollution so it was great being able to star gaze. I do recommend the place for future travellers.

It's a very quiet place would be an awesome place to retire can come down to barnacles cafe and feed the dolphins highly recommended.

Tin Can Bay Tourist park is one of the best parks in Australia. Beautiful and great for any family holiday. Really recommend visiting this amazing park.

Front office/service: wonderful, friendly and inviting. Explained everything we needed to know about Tin Can Bay and has a very extensive knowledge of the area. Room: (Stayed in Single) spacious with all the facilities needed from a motel with, clean bathroom. Wi-Fi: free and unlimited. Probably the fastest you can get away from big CBD cities. General Facilities: pool is clean, laundry (didn't use however works on a honesty system, ie. Pay per use), and there is a BBQ facilities too. Appliances: TV, basic SE QLD channels. Kitchen appliances: microwave, mini fridge, toaster and kettle. Other notes: pet friendly, peaceful area, just across the road from the Broadwater where you can go swimming.

We were here for a couple of days and I wish we could of stayed longer. The sites are big we were behind the bird watching n it was so peaceful. Kids had a blast running on the green grass and swimming in the pool. The pool was amazing. The toilet block was clean and easy accessible n the baby bath was great for the little one. The staff were so kind and helpful. We all had a enjoyable time. Thank you so much we will definitely be back soon.

This is the place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The managers are friendly and accommodating. Pets are treated with respect and love. At night, little geckos come out and stick to the outside cealing. Fun to watch them chase the insects. Clean and affordable, the rooms can be cleaned daily by request but if you like to leave a room and know you will come back later just the way you left it. This place is perfect for you.

This caravan park is a gem! Very well looked after, friendly staff and a great location. We took advantage of the $25 seafood platter they organise for you through the local fish market — wow! So good! We will definitely be back!

First impressions on arrival at the entrance… clean, well kept. Reception staff friendly and keen to help. Parking in front of the room which is large clean and bright. The grounds are kept tidy with lawns and trees etc. The pool and bbq area also clean and well managed. Wish we had more time to stay!

Delightful stay at this very clean and tidy park. Sites are large and private, amenities are clean well kept will be staying here again. Staff are very friendly.

Very clean campsite with friendly staff and good amenities. They rented us bikes for cheap so we could cycle around Tin Can Bay. Enjoyed our stay here and got to feed Dolphins the next morning at the harbour.

We had a fantastic time here over the Anzac long weekend. Well managed, very clean, great facilities, fantastic service. Highly recommend staying here and we will be staying again in the future.

We stayed 1 night in tent in the campsite. It is well equipped and clean. A bit run down all the same.

We had a powered ensuite site, which was clean and spotless. The staff were very friendly and informative (even advising what the tide was) and marking out all the local shops etc. They even organised an Easter egg hunt for the kids and entertainment and face painting.

Had a fantastic stay. Best park we have stayed in. Kids loved it plenty to do. Close to everything will definitely be going back.

One of the best park I have stayed. The lady at the desk was friendly and so helpfull, she knew everything there was to see and do in the area. The park was extemly well maintained with absolutly eveything: pool, Wi-Fi, camp kitchen with sinks, BBQ, cooker, pots and pans, electric kettle, toaster etc… Perfect to tents, vans, campers, caravan Perfect settings, quiet and beautiful. Well pleasantly surprised what a lovely little park not a blade of grass out of place. Nice to see permanent vans well kept. Toilet block a bit old but spotless. Will be visiting again well done to park owners.

Excellent park with big sites and a reduced rate for single travelers. Owner Mel is very friendly.

What a great park for vans, campers and permanents. Mel explained the park and local things to us and then we settled in. They have some drive through sites for large rigs and most sites would take up to a 23'+ caravan. Annex slabs were suitable for up to about 20'+ awning/annex. The whole property is well drained, concrete roads and good grass sites for campers. The ammenities building was clean a well maintainedWe had an ensuite site for 7 days and the ensuite was very clean and quite large compared to many. Water pressure was good and prenty of hot water. The site had a TV cable installed to connect to our van and we enjoyed excellent reception of all the 22 free to air channels as we had a couple of wet days to fill in!. The grounds and sites are well maintained as are the permanent residences along with frequent emptying of rubbish bins and clean under cover camp kitchen with all the basics needed and a reason number of tables and benches. The park is only a few mins drive to IGA, Sports Club and cafes/restaurants. After viewing the other 2 caravan parks located in main street we opted to stay at Tin Can Bay Tourist Park because it was very quiet and relaxing and well away from passing traffic. There are heaps of different birds around the park and down along the nearby paved walking tracks along the bay foreshore. Like MacArthur. We shall return! Geoff Styles Brisbane.
