Close to everything you need — train station, Southbank you could even walk into Brisbane. Considering the amount of traffic the room was exceptionally quiet. The restaurant / bar downstairs is good value for money. The rooms were meticulous, well-designed and had everything you needed including stove, dishwasher, washing machine. Great value fir money and would absolutely recommend.

So they don’t actually service the apartments, which is pretty misleading. Good location for my purposes, room is fine, but for a serviced apartment I probably would say air bnb is better.

Manger and staff attitude towards the customer needs to be improved. It's hard to fix or solve the house problem. Customer is the one who need to keep get in touch with them (visit and call) even though it's their duty to give us notification when the appointment is cancelled. Customer needs to keep wait and wait until the problem get solved.

Rude manager with personality. If you run into issues with facilities then expect a long as wait and as a tenant here things always break. No services or whatever as you have to check with them yourself. If you are looking into staying here. I recommend NOT.

We are so taken back how beautiful our apartment is clean and spacious, surprise around every corner of the apartment, we will be coming back here next time we are in Brisbane, thanx for your great friendly helpfully customer service.

Clean & well positioned, but some interesting layout issues. The 2 bedroom apartment being separated by 2 doors that can't be kept open & a hall was a pain and the weird semi frosted bathroom/toilet wall in a twin room is very inconvenient when staying with a work mate. Book carefully!

These apartments were gorgeous. Beautiful and fully serviced kitchen, enclosed balcony, seperate bedroom and living space and lovely bathroom. Reception staff were lovely.

Great room and friendly service. The tavern diwn stairs was great.

Nice rooms in good location with friendly staff. The bar is a little pricey although the staff are 2nd to none and the choice of drinks is very well thought out. Only 3 minute walk to the west end which has great restaurants and bars. Will likely stay here again in the future.

Really good bar down stairs. The chick behind the bar used her own phone to call my dad a cab, and was really friendly. The rooms are nice and clean.

Nicely furnished and comfortable. After hours check-in is a bit tricky but possible.

Location, location, location! The South Bank has it all! Great food, Cultural Art Center, easy access to most bridges and the Miramar Cruise pontoon (catch a ride on the Brusbane River to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary) all an easy walk away. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean. The Peel Street Tavern on site has great service and food.

Clean and a good size, ran out of bassinets for my son. Forced to buy one last minute. Advertises parking but it's limited with a number being permanently reserved.

The room was quite small and a bit dated but completely fine for 5 nights. Very handy to have in room laundry facilities but a clothes airer would be handy as not everything can go in the tumble dryer.
Swimming pool is really just a lap pool, you wouldn't spend the afternoon there with your children but then the Southbank beach is only 15 minutes walk away.
Mixed messages about room service, the in room booklet says the room will be topped up with toiletries / refreshments every two days, front desk says it is only after a 7 night stay. Again, not a huge concern but would be handy to know.
Most disappointing thing was the in room coffee. A pod machine is supplied along with Lavazza pods. When we returned home we discovered we had been charged $1.50 for each pod we used. Apparently they are listed as a mini-bar item. Incredibly misleading and very cheeky. If you supply the machine you should supply the things to go in it. The pods should be much more clearly labelled as being mini-bar items. In this day and age charging for basics like coffee is un-Australian.

Booked a one bedroom apartment for 2 adults for over 2 month + period. was a studio room size converted into a one bedroom with glass walls around bed so no real division or privacy or noise reduction between bed and open plan kitchen/ lounge room. No oven so not able to bake. 2 plate stove top. Microwave. Windows only open about 6cms. no balcony. Would not book long term again. Ok for a wend getaway.

Clean, has all the amenities you need, is walking distance to South Bank. Right next to a train line which you don't even know about, you hear nothing.

Good food but bathrooms are obviously not cleaned daily. I wonder how clean the kitchen is.

Very nice apartments great location 10mins walk to Southbank and convention centre. Excellent tavern on ground floor great food and service.

Reception not able to assist with requests knowledge of area and facilities available. We requested to access the room early entry. Unable to get early entry rooms not ready. Room not clean floor sticky and needed a good clean. Air cond. Unit noisy.

Lovely quiet place. Only thing there is no screens on Windows when opened so felt a little unsafe.

2br unit was very comfortable, good use of space, king size bed was really comfy. First rate apartment… highly recommended. Plus great little cafe next door with the BEST big brekky!

A comfortable, affordable, clean apartment hotel within walking distance of the vibrant South Bank.

I really enjoyed the room and amenities. The studio apartment I was in was so comfortable, roomy, airconditioned, and had a really cozy bed. I made good use of the spa services (ask for Nicky if you go, shes amazing), and the gym setup was perfect for cardio and light weights. My only complaint is that someone set off a fire alarm and we had to evacuate the building at 11pm. It took atleast 40 minutes for fire services to arrive, and there were no staff on call to consult on the situation, and the number at the door diverted to the gold coast. My suggestion would be to offer a night staff service, or atleast have someone on call close by for situations like this. Other than that my stay was brilliant.

Great location and comfy clean and spacious apartment room. A bit surprised that after 4 nights we didn't have our towels replaced or sheets changed and there was no soap or shampoo provided. Otherwise really good.

Apartment layout is clean and comfortable. Unit 406 was right up against the Brisbane rail line that carries public and freight rail. Double glazing in place but limited rail sound still getting in.

Capitol Apartments business ethic is criminal and their service is terrible. A few months ago I completed a payment with error and contacted them to amend the situation. They have a no refund policy so refused to refund and offered a credit note valid until end of Dec 2016. I have tried to make contact over the last 4 days to use the credit note and no one will reply or honour the credit note. This company is happy to take money and offer nothing in exchange which is as good as criminal. Avoid at all costs.

We booked in here for a night after returning from our cruise along with 2 other families and all 3 air cons in our unit were flashing fault lights which meant they didn't cool at all, were given the option to move to another room and after checking that room the same fault lights were on those air cons so just stayed where we were. Our friends had the same problem with there air cons as well but apparently they had them checked the day after we all left and reckon nothing was wrong with them (of course there wasn't) we were credited a lousy $24 for our shit nights sleep. Needless to stay I won't recommend this place nor will we be staying there again.

Rooms are spacious and well laid out. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and modern looking.

Highly disappointed, booked accommodation 8 months in advance, when checking in they said they were overbooked so had downgraded us from our apartment room into a studio instead, still charged us for our apartment room rate. To top it off the foxtel in our room was broken, which they new about, if downgrading someone to a crappier room, they could at least give a room that had everything working. If they had told us earlier the hotel was apparently over booked we could have looked for alternative accommodation. I more so think they could get a better rate for our apartment room later so purposely switched us…

Clean, modern and spacious 2bdr self-contained apartments. Railway line is outside but minimal noise heard from within room.

Outstanding views of Melbourne, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay in Melbourne with a short walk to event locations and the casino.

Rooms are self contained and well appointed. You get a kitchen with full size fridge, single sink, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, glasses/cutlery for four and the usual appliances, including Lavazza coffee pod machine (but no milk frother). There's a washer and dryer, along with a sink for soaking. The bathroom has plenty of space and places to hang towels. There's even a walk in wardrobe with a safe. There's a 40" LCD TV, a Foxtel IQ (with very limited channels) a DVD player (with no remote) and a speaker dock for older iPods. Wi-fi and parking are included. Wi-fi is limited to 2gb aweek. The parking garage is very tight to navigate in places. There's a small pool (not heated) and a small gym. There's also an on-site cafe/restaurant with a bar, which seemed quite good. The bad? You're right next to the train line, so you don't get an open window, unless you're a fan of diesel (they is a tiny enclosed balcony, presumably for smokers). Many of the fittings are cheap, or poorly installed, such as the carpet, which is coming up everywhere and almost threadbare in places. The bed we had was very uncomfortable. Not sure if it's a cheap mattress or just worn out, but it offers no support and you feel every move the other person makes. There's no plugs in the sink in the bathroom, so if you don't use an electric razor, you're not having a shave.

Lack of communication between staff and us. No one told us how to get in after 10pm so there was a group of us standing outside for ages trying to figure out how. We asked to be moved rooms due to our room being stuck between a train line and construction site, we were told this was possible however were never contacted about it and upon asking again were told it wasn't possible. All the glasses in the cupboard were dirty with no detergent available to wash them, the kettle didn't work and the bathrooms were mouldy. The staff were very nice however we weren't impressed with the over all experience.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was the little things s like having to pay for the coffee pods and not getting our TV looked at when it wasn't behaving that brought down the experience.

We were attending a concert at the Queensland performing arts centre. The Capitol apartments are only a ten minute walk from the venue. We had a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Our stay was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly. We ate breakfast in the cafe downstairs. I would definitely recomend it to anyone.

Great rates, great service, great location. Excellent amenities and a modern clean feel.

Room was nice enough… we as a married couple booked a 1 bedroom apartment which we got however it had 2 single beds in it. Every day and night there were noises in the walls … like something running around… could not sleep at night because of it. There was a stench in the hallway.

Worst experience ever… SO BAD! room looks nice BUT toilette and room not separate except by a window (perfect when you poo to say hello to your girlfriend) The swimming pool is ridiculously small and close to the train rail (everybody see you swimming) the client service is incompetent. We get a trouble with the washing machine which does not open, nobody could fix it until the next day… Then when they came to fix it, they break the washing machine and charge us for that $400. This company is a scam… be aware, fake nice hotel.

A little five to ten minute walk from the rows of restaurants. Pleasantly suprised, compact and modern. The Brazilian receptionist was lovely and kind. When I opened the door to my room there was a kitchenette with a decent size fridge with freezer, nice cold drinks to purchase and a selection of goodies, toaster, jug and beverages. Vacuum and hair dryer, 2 x decent size teles, comfortable seating with coffee table, big beautiful mirrored wardrobe. Clean and sparkly bathroom with a toilet brush (handy at times lol) and a damn comfortable bed with a spare soft, not scratchy blanket in the wardrobe. Two air conditioners that worked great, one in the bedroom and loungeroom. Access to my balcony from bedroom and loungeroom. Oh and yeah a lovely pool to splash around in and a small gym. For the price this is excellent value, and I will be back there so there.

Couldn't fault the place, clean, modern, quiet, comfy bed and pillows. Fantastic reception and check out. Easy and efficient. Close to everything we wanted to do. Would definately go back.

Big problems in my room. Could not go to the loo as there was only transparent glass separating the bathroom to the room. So spent 3 days consistently needing a crap. Apart from that problem. Rooms are modern and clean.

Great neat and tidy apartment easily accessible to the south bank Brisbane attractions. Close to a rail line but you will hardly hear the sound of the train as it passes by. Good value for money.
