Beautiful n relaxing atmosphere with tourists sites and nature attractions.

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Used my Accor night but upgraded to the balcony with harbour view room which happened to be on the third floor so even better. Actually has two balconies, a smaller one and then a much bigger one with an outdoor setting to sit and enjoy the views. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Well with the extra $$ for sure.

I love Kiama and chose to get married at the Sebel in April this year. Rebecca and all the staff were just amazing, from check in to check out and everything in between was a breeze. The garden area and that beautiful heritage building was perfect for our ceremony and we couldn’t fault the quarry room and it’s incredible views for our reception. We stayed in the 2 and 1 bedroom apartments with our bridal party and they had everything we required and then some. We love it and plan to make it an anniversary tradition to come and stay here. Already booked for our anniversary in April 2022!

We had my brothers wedding there, the Atmosphere was amazing and the staff were absolutely fantastic they never skipped a beat I would stay again and will definitely be coming again for meals and maybe a cheeky weekend.

Truely amazing stay experiences here. The food and hospitality is incredible, so far we’ve only stayed twice over an 8 year period but as we now plan to drive every year too and fro from vic to northern nsw every Easter we will be making the Sebel a popular stop over Only disappointing thing was the breakfast was very limited in options but the food was still amazing, except for the chefs muffins.

We arrived early and they allowed us early check in. Although parts of room were a little dated (chairs, minibar console) the room was immaculately clean and we were upgraded to a balcony room free of charge. Quiet, comfortable, great parking and conveniently located.

Red Hot Summer was cancelled on the day only couple hours before start time. Our booking at Sebel was payment on the day. Sebel could have rightly charged us the full $500. Contacted them & received exceptional customer service & understanding. No charge for the room, no cancellation fees & our booking moved to new concert date. This type of customer care is rare & so refreshing. This gesture will ensure we always book with Sebel. Thank you & congratulations on running such a successful business.

Very relaxing hotel. Great view and balcony. Very central. Very quiet. Just what we needed. Only live an hour away but feel we are on holiday.

My wife stayed here the night before our wedding and I stayed the night of our wedding we expected a certain level of accommodation for the hefty price we payed I also requested on booking that they place some nice chocolates and flowers in the room whilst we were at our wedding as a nice surprise for her. Instead they delivered a bottle of champagne on the friday night with a card congratulating us on our wedding when I wasnt even there nor married. Now onto the room and hotel its self yes the staff were friendly and polite though on the friday night and then again on our wedding night we couldn't enter our room as the keys didnt work. So after a long day at our weddinh my wife was left on the floor outside our room while I went back to reception for access to room.
In the room the furniture was stained the chairs were that stained it looked like a seedy highway motel there was what appeared to be lipstick or something on a wall the TV stand was also damaged upon waking in the morning and looking out onto the street no ocean views we were met with dead spiders in the windows.
At check out I raised my discontent with the duty supervisor or manager and expressed how terrible the service was and I expected more them knowing it was our wedding accommodation and payed a huge price only to be told oh well its premium prices on Friday and Saturday nights so too bad.

Stayed for 2 nights the room was big and spacious but needs to be updated and the TV reception was not good. Not much to offer for a buffet breakfast but it dont matter much to me. Location was good everything is walking distance. But good experience either way.

Very happy overall. This was on a Groupon deal and we chose to stay Sunday night as had to be at Albion Park on Monday. Staff — excellent. Room — good but a couple of the bathroom fittings were quite loose and hanging down — not a big job to fix so why don't they? Tempted to knock it down a * for that but it didn't impact on our enjoyment. Hotel — please take note though as several others seem to have similar. Outlook/Location — we had a room over the railway line but with effectively double glazing it's a non-issue. Very close to the main centre, great views from the bar/breakfast area etc. Food/Drink — nice to see some alternative local craft beers on tap (or bottle) rather than the usual bland rubbish. Staff were great. We dined there in the evening as it was a Sunday night and it was okay for the price. The breakfast was great though and way above expectation. Parking — others have commented positively but as we had a trailer with use chose to park on the road outside — no issues and was free. Would happily stay there again and that says it all.

Great and friendly service from all staffs who I met from the hotel. Love their smiles and hospitality! Room was alright however I wish it could be more better if I felt warmer when I entering a room for the first time. It was rainny and bit cold day. Great location, great staffs and breaky was nice~ what can I say more. Definitely wish to come back here again! Thank you for the celebration drinks of my wife's pregnancy! :)

Excellent property with a 24 hour reception. Plenty of under cover parking under the hotel. Great Bar and food options and a short walk to all food options and the Lighthouse. This would certainly be your first and only choice for accommodation in Kiama if you are looking for a family friendly hotel.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the meals were lovely and so were the staff. Very easy to find and would happily stay again.

The staff were very polite and helpful. We stayed the night for our anniversary and were greeted within two minutes of walking into our room with a complementary bottle of bubbly. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication via their "contact us" email setup on the Web Site as no one returned my email. A simple request as to what the hotel could do to make the stay a little more special for my lovely fiancé — nothing in return.
Dinner was disappointing as the menu was a little like a pub special but to receive the meal raw in the middle and deep-fried instead of pan cooked was just awful. The food and beverage manager agreed but only offered a complementary drink from the bar to which we declined and we were still billed full price for such a disaster.

Stayed there for my 68th birthday. The room the balcony and the view was way above anything I had ever experienced. The room was 6m by 12m, very comfortable. My feedback is the lounge was at an angle to the TV. I am not sure what can be done because it's nice to watch TV from the bed. The staff were way too happy. I am guessing it is a great work environment for them which flows over to the care they give to visitors. You must try the breakfast. Awesome, spectacular and a truly unique experience. My only feedback, I did not see any poached or fried eggs, only scrambled. The bacon was shortcut, therefore low in fat. Thank you. Waffles awesome. Great job guys. BTW glass windows AND doors were double glazed to help noise and temperature. Just a well thought out establishment. Highly recommend.

The one bedroom suite was quite spacious, very clean and lots of natural light. Bathroom was large and very clean too — loved the large bath towels! Staff were lovely deal with. My only "complaint" was the mattress on the single beds was to hard for my liking.

We had a pleasant stay in Kiama. Starting from check-in in the evening, buffet breakfast, friendly staff during the day and the check out. the room size was acceptable. Not too small. Bathroom was ok. the only disappointment was one of the extra blankets we tried to use. It was dirty and full of long hair! however, we have reported to reception who have promised to take care of. we are happy to stay there again.

Wonderful location with plush facilities. Easy walk to all the shops, harbour and beach. Great parking which is under cover.

Ridiculously over priced. Restaurant is just a bar which serves burnt, over cooked steak with terrible fish/chips. Most of the TV stations are fuzzy and unwatchable. Gym is unusable as it plays bad 90s music so loud you can't even concentrate. Bathrooms are dirty and unhygienic.

Not cheap but a beautiful spot with friendly staff. I'd love to go back again.

The meals are brilliant. My group had the barramundi, pork schnitzel and lamb. Will visit again for sure.

I went to the Black Diamond bar for lunch on Monday with friends. The service was lovely — staff very friendly and more than helpful (thanks guys). The food was absolutely divine. We've already re-booked. Beautiful staff and food and what a view.

Good size room with comfortable king bed. Love the location. Very convenient to all the major attractions in Kiama. Only let down was the shower facility, the water flow is sooooo slow that you wouldn't expect that in a nice hotel. Also the hot water system breaks down in the two days we were there, need staff assistance to restart the service. The water pressure is good in the bathroom and kitchen sink taps, so I think the hotel must have installed a water saving shower head which makes us can't enjoy a good shower.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the water. The staff were friendly and breakfast was quite nice. The only problem is that the rooms can use with a bit of upgrading, but it is okay if you're staying one or two nights. Overall, it was an okay experience and I would most likely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi but did not work for more than 5 seconds at a time. Stained curtains and chairs. Definitely not worth 400 dollars a night for 4 adults on Christmas day.

Highly recommend. While it was a free night as Accor Plus members, we still got a upgrade to a Studio Room which is huge. We were welcomed by friendly staff at reception and found the staff always willing to help and made sure everything was okay. We had the Beer Battered Fish for lunch and it was delicious and very filling. For dinner we settled on sharing a Pizza that was nice and a very good size. … The Happy Hour between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with $5 local beer and $10 Cocktails were a treat. The atmosphere was good for a Friday night with the locals coming in for dinner and drinks which is a good sign and the female singer sang good songs and had people up singing and dancing. Will definitely be back after a great visit.

The Sebel Kiama Harbourside is a fantastic accommodation in picturesque Kiama. The hotel itself is very modern and the rooms have everything that you need and are spacious and modern. The staff are extremely helpful and show genuine customer service. The Sebel is in a great central location. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sadly we had 10 guests on Friday night to share this awful experience SOME meals were sooo sub standard to the point of completely embarrassing! The noise absolutely deafening, almost impossible to converse with anyone other other thsn the person immediately beside you… extremely disapointing for a SEBEL! We now know where not to return! Lynne.

Location was beautiful, rooms nice, comfy beds. Friendly staff and nice conference a Hall. Some minor service issues, incorrect food or not enough. Forgetting the coffee but nothing that couldn't be fixed.

Lovely staff, clean room, nice cocktails at the warm toasty bar which had a fireplace going. Breakfast was also lovely with quite a variety. We upgraded our room for a small fee and it was well worth it for the size and the two balcony's. Kiama is lovely and the walks and trails and the water is all so lovely. Will go again. Thank you :)

Great location on Kiama harbour, easy walk to the shops. Clean, good sized room. Had breakfast included, so that was a lovely way to start the day — heaps of food and a beautiful view. Only downside — I had a room facing train tracks, thank goodness for the double sliding doors to keep the noise out!

Booked a month in advance for easter long weekend for our first family holiday, photos were incredibly deceiving. The photo of the room we booked had an ocean view with large balcony, and the room we received basically had a tree in our balcony and had the bare minimal which is difficult with a newborn. We tried to sort it out with reception the best they could offer us was free breakfast which for amount of money we paid should have already been included. We asked that we have one night free and they said the best was breakfast. We had travelled from Canberra and it was very dissatisfying to see that for the amount of money we paid we did not receive a good enough customer service or the room we paid for. Will not be staying here again as we travelled to Wollongong as they offered an apartment with ocean views for the same price.

Great location. Most room faces the residents and do not have the water view. Lucky enough I got a room with some water view.
A bit pricy on the accommodation. Could have been better if there's a pool or a spa. We couldn't finish all the food at the restaurant but were not allowed to take away.
Room was very clean. Jaymee at the receptio (I think her name was) provided great customer service and was very helpful.

We had our ceremony and reception for our wedding last weekend (19/11/16). It was the best day of our lives! The staff at the sebel were amazing and we couldn't fault the service! Thankyou to Rebecca for everything you did and for the staff (sorry forgot your names) who went above and beyond for my husband and guests at our reception. Would highly recommend this venue! The hotel was located conveniently to the oceanfront. We were able to walk to the waterside to enjoy the sunrise. I really appreciated the room amenities, specifically the kitchenette and the size of the room. We also liked not having to be concerned with the stress of parking. The garage was attached to the hotel and there was no extra charge for parking. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel and found both meals tasteful as well as reasonably priced. The hotel provided information about landmarks and activities within striking distance. I was honestly sorry we didn't plan to stay longer. It's not hard to imagine that we look forward to our next visit to the community and its picturesque attractions.

Worst stay; room was tiny, two small beds were pushed together and marketed as a king. You are better of sleeping in your car. It was horrible.

We stayed at the Sebel for 4th/5th time in March this year, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as usual especially as we got an unexpected room upgrade and free Wi-Fi. In past years we have had breakfast but the price this year was prohibitive at $32.00 each or $26.00 each if we prebooked. Other than that found staff very friendly and helpful and room service was excellent.

My daughter held her wedding at the Sebel Kiama on 25/8/2013. My daughter and I stayed the night before the wedding for special mother daughter time. The staff were fantastic from the start, nothing was too much trouble. Staff acknowledge you every time they see you. The Wedding was fabulous. Food was great, function room was lovely. The most outstanding aspect were the staff. They looked after the bride and groom extremely well and allowed guests to have a great time while always available for any requests. I would recommend The Sebel Kiama to anyone.

The stay was excellent. Staff were friendly and the surrounding was amazing. I loved staying at Sebel Harbourside Kiama.

Room was nice and clean, bathroom was clean, shower over bath a little big cramped with shelf in there. Bed was comfortable. TV was good and big, clear picture. Staff was very polite and friendly. Meals were excellent.

A Saturday drive turned into a weekend away. We arrived in Kiama and found not a big price difference in some very ordinary or sub-quality accommodation with the Sebel. They gave us a great deal at the desk. Room was very modern, extremely comfortable and the bathroom was bright, clean and big. Very worthwhile staying there.

Nice location, great food, beds are horrible, uncomfortable, king bed is two king singles pushed together so you end up laying on a log in the middle of the bed. Dont go if you love to snuggle as you will be both squashed on a single bed or both be very uncomfortable. On a good note restaurant 1871 was wonderful, everyone must try the Honeycomb Parfait with Sweet Pineapple and Mint Salsa its great. Spoke to reception on our departure who informed me that all King rooms are two single beds pushed together, wasnt just bad luck is very bad planning on the managment. Would rate the location and restaurant as 4 but the bed blows the rating away very very poor.
