We stopped in for a quick overnight stay on our way home from Sydney to Melbourne. Our room was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and the owners were fantastic. So welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back! I've fallen in love with Yass!

Outstanding Upgraded because when they realised the booking for 2 was for mother and daughter not a couple we got a 2 bedroom for the same price. Help with where to go for dinner and directions we really couldn't have asked for more … will happily stop there again.

Great 3 star hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms that I would guess have recently been refreshed. On seeing that the electric blankets were already on for us, my wife says a five star rating was immediately deserved. Really helpful at the desk, large parking spaces, fresh milk for tea and coffee and close to town.

The mirror behind the door wasn't clean, the bathroom vanity cupboard wasn't clean, their was mold above the toilet, no toilet paper on the roll, the bathroom mirror had marks and stains all on it. The tissues were nearly empty. For a deluxe room, there was no kitchen or sink… I am a Supervising Head Cleaner at Lake Talbot, so I know what a room needs too look like…

Okay hotel. Looks old and bed was VERY uncomfortable. I looked rundown and would be the place you would stay at if you had no options. I stayed here because the hotels in Canberra were full. Wifi was junk, it wouldn’t even work, I recommend using the caravan park Wi-Fi. It was a lot better that the hotels. My bathroom had a broken window, but was only just intact. Yass was a disappointing place. If you want food, get it early, I was going to get dinner when everything was closed, so I had to head for Aldi. Had cup noodles. If your looking for a hotel, I would recommend somewhere else.

Made very welcome with our border collie x lab on short notice. Excellent reception on arrival, always good to have a smiley happy person greet you after a long drive. Thanks Michael. Clean room with everything we needed. Very affordable rates. Recommend this motel to any weary travellers.

What a lovely place to stay, a real gem The owner Michael was so friendly & hospitable. Our room was clean, fresh, very cozy & fitted with creature comforts. We had our own little private courtyard off our room. Had a good nights rest here. Greeted in the morning by some gorgeous feathery friends. Highly recommended.

Im just leaving the gym niw and now cruising around freshy shops in trackies a jumper and we can talk to a girl out of the surf and was going to come through but if not I was your weekend plans for Sat and Sun in a mad rush to.

Great room at a great price, cold aircon, cold beer and good pizza! What more can you ask for?

Comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower pressure and private courtyard was a bonus. Free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Room was fairly dark and walls a little thin though.

"Free" internet did not ever work, staff were rude and offered no remedy. All hotels on this strip have internet signs out front, so try another one.

The motel has gone under major refurbishment and has come out looking great. The service was great and the new courtyard rooms are second to none. Would recommend to anyone.
