Arrived late, left early, so never met the managers, but keys were waiting in a safe box when we arrived. Stayed on a first floor apartment. Two bedrooms — one queen in the first, two singles in the other. Self contained and kitchen has a stove top, and there was a convection microwave as well. Internal laundry with washing machine and dryer. Foxtel with lots of movie channels, and free-to-air as well. The only problem, and this is really tiny, was I could hear the people next door going to the toilet each morning. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

I travel up to port every 2 weeks to see my son. Iv stayed at every place up here and let me tell you this is the best! For all the negative comments there all false I booked 3 nights for 390$for a two bed room the person who said they payed 300+ is lieing! The person who said its advertised as having two bathrooms there lieing! If your not happy about the place for this price your simply crazy! iv definetly found my new resort to stay at thats for sure excellent place I highly recommend it to any 1! The people lieing are odviously fishing for a free night its actually disturbing. I love this place thank u flynns beach resort I love you guys!

Always luvd Flynns Beach we luv it, a cpl more bbqs wld be great tho n their amenities block nd upgrade, but all round an awesome family spot n always have perfect day there!

Nice settings and facilities it has two salt water pools and the apartments are decent in size kids playground is good too and plenty of car parking spots there are two places where you can BBQing on electric tops and there is a lot of wild life on the premises, they have big balconies, staff are friendly and helpful, Flynns beach is a walking distance space is the Koala hospital, area is quiet and cosy Now to the bad stuff, the units kitchens have no oven only cooktops although the microwave can do convection cooking, the units accessible only by stairs and there are no lifts, the gymnasium is very small and has only one piece of equipment of each type, the tennis court is not a part of the resort "even though they advertise it as such" and available only "for hire " through the nearby restaurant, the carpet smelled in the unit I stayed at, free Wi-Fi is limited to 1GB daily and needs daily reset unless you want to buy "a short plan" and very unstable, TV is tiny (26 inches my guess) and can be hard to enjoy Overall positives outweighs negatives and we as a family enjoyed our stay.

Nice family friendly resort with swimming pool. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was well kept and furnished with dishwasher washing machine dryer etc. Very convenient. Would be better if they had more pots and pans as there was only 1 of each. Cleans and towels provided. Really good location too right next to the beach.

Great resort for families close to the very beautiful sandy beach.

Opposite beach. Heated pools, tropical landscaped surroundings. Clean except shower but mgr got onto it quickly with cleaning staff. Restaurant onsite, we had our own kitchen but one night there was good. Recommend.

When connecting, stay close to the airport, walk 10 minutes, at the seaside. The house is large, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a lot of food in the fridge (surcharge). Is that the house is not soundproof.

The room we stayed in was definitely dated. It smelt. Reception thought we were party trouble. The pub next to it has great food and staff though. It’s an acceptable place to stay. Plenty of families. Plenty of warnings and charges for extras but thats with most Australian hotels.

Great place for families, groups or couples to relax & enjoy. Beach also close enough to walk to in warm seasons plus benefit of aircon on those hot days. Our upstairs unit overlooked the attractive pool setting & had 2 good size bedrooms, large comfortable living area, bath & separate shower, tidy compact kitchen with mini dishwasher, a laundry closet, & a balcony setting for outdoor eating which we enjoyed using. We were impressed with our stay.

This is our fourth stay here. Great amenities set in a tranquil rain forest setting with bird life and lizards etc for the kids to see. Across the road from Flynns Beach the accommodation is very clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and obliging.

A beautiful, cozy, sub-tropical park with friendly front desk staff and a very short walk to beautiful beaches. Loved waking up to the sun shining through all the trees! This is a great place to stop when you're travelling through the east coast.

Nice big apartment, lovely quiet surroundings (maybe because it was winter), and great facilities. Fab location across the road from the beach, and a couple of decent coffee shops nearby. The kind of place where you find yourself saying "I could live here… "

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and really bad customer service. We made a booking and realized straight away it was the wrong location (silly us). We then cancelled the booking in a matter of minutes. The money wasn't refunded after a few days so we called the hotel, at first they couldn't find our booking so we called the booking website then they called the hotel and found no booking. We were then advised by the website to dispute the payment through Amex. Then after about 1 month the dispute was rejected by the hotel as they magically made a booking appear out of no where and decided to keep the money whilst claiming its their right because of their no refund policy. We then pleaded with them but they didn't care. Then we asked if we could use the deposit to stay there at another time but they just won't respond. We are just really disapointed and exhausted by the management at Flynns beach resort. Do not stay at this hotel. Its not worth the risk.

Very nice location and great grounds for kids to explore. Onsite restaurant with playground has decent food too.

The stay was good. It was clean, was very cozy. The staff are really friendly a well. Excellent choice.

Hi there, my husband & I & a friend who had never been to Port Macquarie before, had a 3 night stay this past weekend in a balcony room overlooking the pool & gardens. My husband & I have been here many times before (but not for a few years now) & have always loved the unit, gardens, friendly staff, & location. The units were clean & roomy, with just a little noisy shower, but not really that much of a drama. Our older friend just love it all! It was just a shame the weather wasn't 100%, but we did get to take her to a few tourists spots & of course the great beaches. Still love the bar-b-q areas… so clean as always. Keep up the good work, Peter & Myra.

A wonderful resort — very spacious apartments on beautiful grounds. Plenty to keep the kids entertained including two pools, cockatoos, playgrounds and plenty of wildlife around the creek. It is also in a great location with a fantastic beach across the road and restaurants, take-away and a corner store a short walk up the road.

We have stayed at Flynn's Beach Resort irregularly over a number of years. We like it because the accommodation is spacious, comfortable and shows quality. We love to have a unit overlooking the pool. The outlook, with the trees, water dragons and families having a good time is just what helps us to relax and feel good. Location is great — there are plenty of places to go from there and lots to do. Thanks to the friendly staff for another wonderful holiday.

Very nice resort. Would definitely stay there again in the off season instead of a Motel. Some very minor maintenance issues were noted during our stay but this did not detract from the overall experience. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting an alternative to a Motel for around the same price but with three or four times the space as well as some form of undercover parking. (Under building or under shade sails)

We have stayed at Flynn's Beach Resort a couple of times and have always had a positive experience. The resort is well maintained, the gardens and pool areas are lovely and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We ended up extending our stay by another 2 day as we were having such a relaxing time that we didn't want to go home! I would recommend Flynn's to anyone that is looking for a good place to stay for a holiday in Port Macquarie. If you are elderly, in anyway immobile or have a young family I would recommend booking a ground floor apartment as the stairs can be a bit of a pain if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor, not real problem for us. We will be back for sure.

I have stayed at the Resort on 3 separate occasions, each with basketball groups. Along with others in our groups I have found the Resort to be the ideal place for our stays. The rooms are spacious and certainly ideal for family groups. The surrounds are quite unique with trees and bushes and an abundance of birds of many different types and even the odd lizards roaming freely. The barbecue area is certainly a great spot for team get togethers of an evening. Though the noise of exited children can be annoying to some, the rooms are quite noiseless with the verandah door shut. Our groups make a point to stay here when in the Port and I am sure many of us will be back later in the year for our next tournament.

We have just enjoyed 3 nights at the Flynn's Beach Resort. The accommodation was generous in size, and very clean. The facilities were good, and the location excellent. We had a pool view room and found this to be very quiet. I would not hesitate to re-visit this resort.

This was our 2nd stay at the Resort, we love the whole feeling of the environment. It is so peaceful outside and we really feel as though we are in the middle of paradise. The unit was great as well, so spacious and clean, very easy to move around in. We would recommend this Resort to anyone wanting a relaxing, great location.

Had a great 3 day stay. Arrived at the unit a little early, but that caused no problem for the cleaners, who left the unit spotlessly clean. The unit and facilities (Gym etc) were all in top condition. In general would definately recommend to friends and would rebook to stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Flynns bach resort and would definitely recommend it! Suitable for couples and families. The resort is well located opposite Flynns beach and close proximity to town with secure parking. Friendly helpful staff and a well kept resort. Our room was on top floor which wasnt an issuse as we enjoyed view and breeze and rooms/kitchen well kept. Well done owners/management — value for money! we will visit again when we come back to port macq:).

We had a very enjoyable weekend escape, our second visit. Big spacious rooms, neat and clean, all amenities there that we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Family friendly our children had a ball and didn't want to leave. The pool and surroundings are peaceful and like a tropical rainforest. We will definitely stay there again.

Thanks for the opportunity to comment on our stay. This has been our 4th visit to the resort. Compared with our past visits we must say we were a little disappointed with several aspects of the resort. Leaf and mulch debris on the footpaths were evident and never swept during the entire 5 day stay. The lawns could have had a trim. Our room 125 was satisfactory although the second bedroom fan was noisy and could not be left on overnight. The basin plug had to be replaced as the original plug could not be removed by hand. Ants were evident in the toilet and kitchen. Two cockroaches were removed from the second bedroom. The second bedroom window could not be left open due to a foul o dour that would waft in every now and then. A barking dog from the nieghbouring property made it difficult to have a complete nights sleep. I am sure that these are only minor issues that could easily be resolved and would not prevent me from visiting again in the future. Many thanks Ron.

A very enjoyable stay, pleaseant friendly staff and we were left alone to do our own thing — peaceful — unobtrusive. Excellent.

We had a wonderful 10 days and wished we had the time to stay longer. The apartment was in a very good position, with the morning sun on the balcony and a cool breeze blowing through the apartment all the time. We were very comfortable and relaxed with the swimming pool, Bbq's, and tennis courts in close proximity. Although the Restaurant does not belong to Flynn's Beach Resort we had a couple of lovely meals there at a very reasonable price. The Flynn's Beach Resort staff were very helpful, we had a great holiday and will be back as soon as possible. Janice.

The Resort was so nice, the pool was just perfect, however the room was not all that clean, the blinds were so dusty and the bathroom had rot on the skirting boards which was not nice to look at. There was also a few cobwebs hanging around. The room however was spacious and had everything you could want, just needs a good clean.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded and the spa room was excellent, as were the friendly staff, location and amenities. Being Poms — but we have now been here for 2 years — our morning tea is important to us. There was crockery for 6 but only a very small teapot and no sugar bowl or milk jug. I know this is trivial and repeat we were well pleased with everything else.

Average accommodation, tired looking and some furniture needed replacing. The carpet felt gritty under foot so I wore slippers inside. I don't know what the aroma was when we first arrived but it was offensive, had to open all the windows and leave the fans on. I consider having lamps, fans and TV on prior to arrival a complete waste of electricity. Curtains were filthy as were the fly screens. Mentioned curtains to staff and some were washed before lunch. Balcony also could have done with a good clean as could the stairwell. Cherrypicker noise at 8am was annoying but realised that outside painting needed to be done.

My wife and I enjoyed out 2 week stay. The room was clean and spacious. Being on the top floor at the front gave us a nice breeze. Minor issues might be the lack of a lift which might be a problem for older folk. Also the Spar bath shower combo — also a problem for the less agile. Short walk to Flynn's beach and the bar behind serves reasonable meals.

We have stayed at Flynns Beach Resort 5 times now. We love it! The units are spacious and clean. The kitchen has all the equipment necessary for a beach holiday. Our family played tennis everyday we were there and ate at the Bistro on the $15 steak night. It is a great place to stay for families.

Clean, lovley caravan park, we camped in a lovely rainforest atmosphere site with lizards, koalas and birdlife making feel like we were in the wild. The staff and permanents were friendly and helpful. Was a good price for great facilities.

Average at best. We stayed for 2 nights at $380 per night for a 2 bedroom apartment. Our expectations of a quality accommodation were not met. I thought the tight rations of 4 teabags, sugar. Coffee and milk satchels or only 1/2 roll of toilet paper were not reflective of a 4 star resort at that price. The air conditioning unit did not work, thought considering it was a busy time would be open longer and the apartment over the road was noisy. This was our last stop on a 2 week trip and was the most expensive and most disappointing.

Highly recommendable. Great location. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. We had a rom with great ocean views from the balcony. The atmosphere at the resort is very welcoming and tropical. The BBQ area is very nice too. We are very happy and will love to go back to spend more days there.

A very convenient place for a weekend away; we were in Port Macquarie for a wedding and used a special promotional offer to cover the two nights' stay. Right over the road from Flynn's Beach Surf Life Saving Club, clean rooms, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Starting to show its age but good value, overall.

We loved it great location, kids enjoyed the heated pool and were excited to have a koala in the tree beside them, So much wildlife around with big lizards, bush turkeys and snakes, the staff took the time to show the kids some of them. We used the tennis court and loved the restaurant next door. Would recommend it, the spa in the room was very relaxing.
