Terrific motel in every way! Super comfortable king bed, quiet & spacious room. Enjoyed a fantastic evening dining in the restaurant with beautifully prepared high quality meals. Booked last minute & our second visit. We were looked after by Sebastian & Jason so well that if I could … would give 10 stars ⭐️

Thank you to Sebastian and Jason for the great 4 night relaxing stay at Deer Park Motor Inn. The room was large and exceptionally clean, the bed so comfortable and the food I had for 4 nights at The Alps restaurant was all so fresh and delicious, and service and wine excellent.

10 out of 10 for the hospitality and great brekky.

Most unkempt place we have ever stayed with an incredibly rude owner and dirty rubbish in the room, very disappointing and I would not recommend it at all.

What a fantastic motel. Rooms are huge, beds and pillows are comfortable. We stayed here many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed and was the same again. Light breakfast was included. Loved walking up to the deers in the morning. Thoroughly recommend.

Quiet & close to town. Kids can feed the deer.

This is our fourth stay at Deer Park Armidale brilliant clean tidy and feeding the deers is brilliant and fresh breakfast and coffee tea, is amazing highly recommend the stay.

After hearing amazing things about the German style restaurant at the Deer Park Motor Inn we decided to spend our Friday night there drinking wine, eating pork knuckle and spending hours chatting with family and friends. A great way to spend the evening! Outstanding service and food! We will be back!

We had such a wonderful experience staying here, they staff are all friendly and welcoming and the restaurant has amazing food! Highly recommend.

Large spacious quiet rooms with microwave and toaster. Spa bath. There’s an indoor heated pool also. Feeding the deer onsite a bonus. Pet friendly. Continental breakfast often included.

I read the past post and unless we got the shittiest room I would say all reviews are fake. This room wasn't wheelchair friendly. Toilet was way below standed requirements the shower was no better. The TV didn't really function it was very unclean I had flys in the room and a dead cocky on my bed.

Would recommend 100%, good rates, great place to stay with pets, very very clean, spotless, friendly and hospitable, great breakfast included, Lots of extras in rooms we will be back jenni and Bruce, Marcus and Angus.

Unexpectedly well appointed clean large room. Old style hospitality with an excellent homemade muesli and granola option to the continental breakfast spread. Bed was very comfortable.

Very big and cleanliness at it's best. Well managed. Top Attraction is feeding Deers every morning and evening.

What a fantastic place… BIG rooms, very clean and fantastic meals for both breakfast and evening meal. Definitely will stay here again. Feeding the deers was a bonus!

Dog friendly owners. Very relaxed atmosphere in a quiet part of town. They feed the deer twice a day (9am and 5pm) and the owners are nice people. Very well run. You can tell they love their place. We brought our little dog for a road trip and he was very welcome. Highly recommended.

Spacious comfy rooms with amazing beds, great complimentary breakfast with homemade aspects. Feeding the deers was a delight for adults and kids alike, large heated indoor pool was a great refresher at the end of the day. Overall our stay was a joyful experience and we definitely recommend this motel.

Very lovely place, quiet, comfy bed, spacious rooms, really lovely added bonus feeding the deer and seeing them the children absolutely loved that experience and we gained some knowledge about them from the friendly staff. The pool is great. The included breakfast was the freshest fruit and good variety, yoghurt and juices I’ve had. Staff was very friendly and upon phoning advised everything would be closed for dinner by the time we arrived and suggested dinner in Tenterfield. We are always traveling and have to stay in accomodation quite regularly. Congratulations Deer Park team. Fabulous establishment I hope your very proud of yourselves. You are by far one of the best places we’ve stayed for overall experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms clean, well aired and surprisingly spacious. The available car parking space was also generously wide — so no squeezing between cars as I have experienced elsewhere. Meals in the restaurant were simple but tasty and well presented. Great to see a selection of local wines to enjoy with the meal. The real treat was feeding the deer. A nice surprise!

Staff was very friendly, very accommodating, kids loved the deer feeding. Rooms clean and spacious. I only gave 4 stars because there is always room for improvement! Would definitely stay again!

Armidale is almost half way from Sydney to Toowoomba. Deer Park Motor Inn experience is hard to write in words. Amazing place to stay, more than 3 dozens deers to feed in morning. Current owners are great people to deal with. Really working hard to make this motor inn in great place. Breakfast is average but didnt bother me as overall experience was awesome :-)

The Motor Inn was a great stay, the staff were very kind and friendly and the food was delicious. The deer feedong was very enjoyable and the rooms were quite clean.

Older style motel, but the rooms were spotless with good beds, fresh towels and a nice range of amenities. The continental breakfast was very welcome and excellent quality. The deer feeding was an unexpected bonus activity and great fun. Highly recommended.

Lovely comfortable place to stay, great for families as rooms are spacious, deer feeding twice a day and an indoor pool to relax in open long hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Clean and tidy room, nice and spacious. Room was a little dated. Great that it was pet friendly.

I love that you can bring your furbabies to stay with you and they're in your room with you! They provide a free continental breakfast too! It's so beautiful to wake up in the morning, go outside and have gorgeous Deer to greet you! There's just one downer, there's no courtyard so you can't let your furbabies off leash, outside of your room.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Very clean and comfortable with staff who go out of their way to please. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, I can recommend their battered fish, it's fantastic!

Excellent sized rooms. I am staying with 4 kids and I dont feel cramped. Wonderful facilities. Bright cheery staff. And who doesn't love gorgeous real life Deer?!

My Wife & I stayed here for 2 nights, Sabastian & Jason were excellent hosts, the room was clean and comfortable, the food was impeccable, their presentation and interaction with guests was pleasant, homely. Highly recommend them and their services, thanks for looking after us guys.

If your looking for a place to stay in Armidale that is close to the main St and well priced and you have a family the deer Park motel is for you Whilst the room was a little dated they were Neat and clean In terms of points of difference the motel had Deer feeding twice a day witch was surprising entertaining for the whole family Opon arrival we were greeted by the owners of the motel who were extremely nice and helpful Overall I would highly recommend The Deer Park motel for families.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Easy to find and arrival times are not an inconvenience for the two friendly hosts. The welcoming experience is memorable. The rooms are spacious, and super clean. Upgrading and renovations are being completed for a fresh new look. The restaurant is amazing! There is a variety of choice from the Continental breakfast bar and evening meals are cooked to perfection. I have to comment that this has been a most relaxing visit and I have no problems with recommending The Deer Park Motor Inn to anyone. I would like to thank Sebastian and Jason for their kindness and professional standard of hospitality shown to myself and to my friend while attending our studies at UNE. We intend on returning here for accommodation next time we are in Armidale. Cheers!

A great spot to stop. Rooms are well looked after and the owners are lovely people. Very accomadating for our family of five. And the free continental breakfast included in the accommodation is great. The kids loved the heated pools and the live Deer on the property is an added bonus. ☺

Stayed Easter 2014. Small room, when bathroom door opened it blocked the TV, could smell people smoking outside their rooms, fold out bed extremely uncomfortable metal bar through middle of back. Over priced would definitely travel further to stay somewhere else.

Booked in for 1 night stayed 3 due to the friend staff, large really clean rooms, and the Spa, Kids loved the Deer, fed them 3 times. We had dinner in the room which was really good especially the pea and ham soup excellent. We will return. David.

Me and my wife and the dog stayed at this hotel the inside looks a bit old but it has a big shower but the bed is old and needs to be replaced.

Pool not heated, spa not working, over priced for what it is.
