Clean n spacious cabin plus helpful staff n good customers service I definitely recommend this resort!

A very good place to stay with family and friends, very friendly staff, good cabins, close to the ocean.

It’s a great friendly place to spend time with family, group of friends and church friends to have time together that is not too far to reach and easy to locate. Also, with different amenities and the place is just next to the beach and there’s so many options to choose from whether you wish to stay in a cabin or you wish to do camping. People in the neighbourhood are nice and friendly too.

The best park ive stayed at in a long time. Cabins are lovely. Camping grounds are beautifully manicured & staff are very friendly. Fun activities ie indoor heated pool. Putt putt golf. Tennis court, playground & across the road from a fabulous hotel. Love it here.

We're home from a fabulous mini break at Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort where the sites are huge, the amenities and grounds are spotless and the staff are wonderful. Would definitely stay again on a beach front site. Loved it!

The staff were very helpful from start to finish. Powered sites are huge. Amenities are clean, whole park is pristine. We’ve stayed in parks with permanent vans & they were terrible, this is the exact opposite. Will be back next time we hit The Gong.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean and modern. The park itself was the same. The staff were very very nice and very helpful. Lots for the kids to do. Will definitely be back.

Had a amazing stay there. Lovely spot near all the great attraction. Very clean, spacious unit with private BQ and patio, comfy beds and nice décor. Staff are great and the extra large indoor pool is awesome. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway or family stay.

My family and I liked it hear we would come again for sure. King bed awesome best pillows we have eva used wish I could have one❤️ Did see a friendly cockroach on the kitchen bench but that wouldn’t stop us from coming again. It’s a very clean unit. And hospitality was wonderful. Is missing air conditioning in room and it’s a must really for hot days up hear.

It’s amazing being in Wollongong, I’ve worked in the area and the people are so friendly. The traffic isn’t to bad and the beaches are to die for, to everyone looking to holiday in Wollongong go for it, it’s close to Sydney and yet far enough away to feel as if you we’re overseas.

Close to beaches, CBD, local eateries like Towradgi Beach Hotel, aports grounds, parks and great internal facilities. Great family place to stay.

Away from the crowds wonderful views tastiest food comfortable accommodation.

I had such a brilliant time recently in this family friendly resort! The staff are top notch, the rooms well appointed and spotless, great amenities, close to the beach, I'll definitely be back!

Our family spent the weekend away in a 2 bedroom Apartment. We loved everything about Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort. The apartment was massive and impeccably clean. The beach was great, only a few minutes walk. Good location and walked across the road to Waves Tavern for dinner. The Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a beautiful weekend.

We stayed at Surf leisure resort during last week end. We had the appartment 2002. That was amazing, clean, fully furnished, they thought about evrything to make sure the customer feels like at home. Reception team was very helpful.
I cant wait for my next stay there.

Nice enough park but communal resources are very dated for campers with only a single bbq for half the park a tiny and outdated playground, and a camp kitchen out of the 70s. Staff need serious training on how to use their own systems and customer service we were quite rudely bailed up and told we couldn't leave if we didn't pay … even though we had to pay before entering. We stayed in our caravan over Easter and while we are used to minimum stays for long weekends … I was a bit shocked at the jacked up prices from $39 per night to $140 per night for nothing extra! No activities, nothing … so check your tariff … especially stings when the pool was not open because of the public holiday … would have been much better if they had taken some of our inflated prices and paid your staff to provide services to your customers.

Just spent 3 nights with you guys and it was wonderful. Spotless accommodation, super helpful (and very friendly) staff. Marvellous pool/ spa/sauna area… blissfully quiet … everything you required in the apartment… we would personally recommend the resort to any age group… thank you so much for everything…

Just did not want to leave! So friendly, clean and everything you need for a family holiday. We played tennis and mini golf and hired bikes to ride on the cycle trail. So close to the magnificent Towradgi beach, pool and bowling club. The pool is paradise. My boys and I had a very relaxing get away. I'd move in tomorrow if I could. Thanks :) … oooh and possibly the most comfy bed after my own!

Perfect location. Close to shops, CBD and beach. Accommodation is great value for money. Lots of activities on-site including indoor heated pool made holiday with young kids easy.

Awesome for families, and retreats. I come here few times a year. The terraces are especially nice. Weber's are installed and it is always very useful for meals. Highly recommended.

Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort in Towradgi, is located a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk, north of Wollongong. The resort has direct beach access, however the beach is not patrolled and normally the conditions are not suitable for weak swimmers. The nearest patrolled beach is Fairy Meadow, about 10 minute walk south down the beach. The children's playground is small and needs upgrading, but the local park nearby at Towradgi beach is great. The pool is indoor, so good for all year round. The resort is close to the cycle way and it's an easy flat ride into town.

Very nice and quiet location with ample car park. Easy to reach and with good facilities (I was there for a full day training). Access to the beach to relax and practice some mindfulness exercises before getting into business. Overall it was a great choice. I haven't experienced the cafe/shop as lunch was catered and delivered to us.

We have been coming for several years in the winter with our caravan. It's fabulous. Caravan sites are roomy and well situated. The pool, spa, steam room area has been refurbished since last time and is so good. The grounds and amenities are immaculately maintained. Lovely spot for a few days break.

The cabins at the resort are excellent. In great condition, clean, plenty of options to choose from. The top tier ones we very comfortable. The conference Centre are going, but each room of a little small, and so only works for smaller numbers.

Camped with our camper trailer and young kids. Very pleasant resort. Simple, unpretentious but exceedingly clean and well maintained. We'll be back.

Sensational location, close to beach, bike path, pub across the road. And the roast dinner has to be experienced to be believed. Try the pork!

We come here with the kids every autumn break. This is our 20th year. The kids have grown up with it and look forward to being here. There is plenty to do and the staff is super friendly. It isn't glamorous, luxurious, or pretentious. Perfect for us.

This is the 4th or 5th time we've stayed here. Lots of good family oriented facilities and the park is clean, safe, and secure. The only disappointment (still) is the limited free Wi-Fi or the price of buying extra. In this day and age when everyone is so reliant on good, fast, and cheap Internet access this unfortunately remains stuck in the dark ages.

We booked this place one stormy evening, we decided not to camp in a tent that night and was amazed the facilities and service this resort offered. I was impressed with their kiosk filled a wall full of lollies tubs for my kids to full their bags. The indoor heated pool was a plus, as well as the steam room and spas. We stayed in the deluxe room that consists of 4 large bedrooms, full kitchen, spacious living spaces and the back verandah had a Weber Family Q. I highly recommend staying here for any family staying in Wollongong. All the staff were super friendly and the owner, Annette was lovely. Top place.

Was very pleasantly surprised at the room, was alot more spacious than anticipated. Loved that there was coffee pods, coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the room. The reception ladies are friendly, even had one of the lads talking to us in my husbands mother tongue which made us homesick. Lovely actives and right on the beach! We had an awesome time away.

Top spot, close to beach, and pub across the road with excellent food and entertainment. Helpful staff, at the resort. Stayed their a few times now. Would recommend it for families, and couples.

Decent facilities and located right next to the beach. We've been here both camping and in cabins and enjoyed it every time. The indoor swimming pool is nice, but definitely over chlorinated, best to stick to the beach.

Great experience of staying in WSLR for a weekend getaway. Staff are very helpful and friendly, great location to beach and close to Wollongong center, kids friendly and lots of activities for them, cabin is clean and comfortable! And good price! Love everything about it will definitely go back again!

Recently stayed here the star and the place as a hole is fantastic great family orientated place highly recommend to anyone with or with out kids.

Extremely family friendly. We stayed in the one bedroom terrace and it was so convenient having the covered patio for extra personal space, especially having a big family.
Only minor recommendations would be to reconsider free Wi-Fi access for all guests to connect to and to have a lockable screen door on the front doors, as our AC didn’t quite reach the bedroom at times because of its positioning, so airflow throughout would be a bonus.
All in all; a really great place to stay. Kids had a ball running around freely and with all the activities to do, they were never really bored and adults got to enjoy themselves too!
Very clean, great service and will definitely be a place to visit with the family on a regular basis!

Good indoor pool and parking. The rooms done the job but a bit out dated with shower curtains and old paintings on the wall. The walls dont stop alot of noise either from people next door or across the grass. Access to beach is good but we ended up driving to the access as the path is where the permanent residents are. The shop at the entrance is good for the kids with good range of treats for them at very good prices. It has a gate to cross the road to the pub which is pretty easy to access. At night the pub has loud music at times and that could annoy people. Overall it was good and would stay again but would also consider other options first.

Have stayed here a few times as a kid and never had a bad experience. Right next to the beach, indoor pool (with sauna) and has a massive pub across the road. Perfect spot to camp or bring the family :)

Looks like a really nice place to stay. On this occasion we only came to visit their indoor heated pool. It is free for resort guests, costs $6 for adults or $3 for children if you're not a guest. Great pool. Change rooms have hot showers.

Cleanest resort of this type I have ever seen. Facilities are great for families Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again when in area.

I have stayed here on and off for the past 3 months as I've been working at Wollongong. I can't praise the place and staff enough. All of the accommodation I have stayed in has been to the highest standard and kept very clean. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and have gone out of their way on a number of occasions. My wife and 3 kids stayed with me last week and had a great time with the facilities that are on offer. Also, the location being situated on the beach front is superb.

We just had a great family weekend staying at the Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort in one of the newly refurbished cabins. The cabins are spotless and the king bed was very comfortable. We walked along the beach, played tennis and putt putt golf then swam in the heated pool. Looking foward to going back for the Easter long weekend with all our extended family too!

Excellent place to stay for Generate Conference this week. Room was warm and comfortable even though we stayed in the depths of winter. And George provided the best food for me who has weird food intolerances — so very impressive and I am so thankful! Great location close to shops and beach.

Stayed here for a conference in January. One bed unit was modern, clean, with a kitchen that had what we would need for a short holiday stay. The catered lunch and dinners were very tasty. Nice surrounds for kids, short walk to ocean baths. We would holiday here again.

Excellent, newly refurbished cabin, well equipped conference facilities, lovely grounds, great proximity to beach and town, lovely and helpful staff, food could have been better.

We booked an open plan budget motel room for a family of 4. The room was clean and the kitchenette had what was needed. The bathroom was small but fine and the shower was powerful. Linen was provided. All reasonable given budget option — bed was a bit soft for me but not too bad. Reception were very helpful with our late arrival. We couldn't get a working internet signal in our cabin (room 76) so couldn't use the Wi-Fi (60 minutes free then paid, but didn't work for us). We didn't try the swimming pool but had a nice walk on the resort beach.

Good stay. The bed was comfortable and the pub across the road had a great feed. Would defiantly stay again.

This is the worst cabin I have ever lived, no air conditioner, smell funny in the rooms, not safety at all, during the midnight, someone knock at my door. I feel so bad. The reception is rude.

The room was ok but thought overpriced for what we got. At a $130 a night I have stayed in a lot better and received much better room service. The room was clean and basic. The double bed was very uncomfortable. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Clean but expensive and furniture so uncomfortable! Beds rock hard and rooms v hot at night. Sofa bed in lounge area also v hard. 855 dollars for 4 nights is excessive for the lack of comfort. Travelodge in Sydney was much better value for money and I thought it was over-priced til we got here.
