I booked a two bedroom apartment for Saturday 17th Aug. We arrived to find the door to the main bathroom/toilet had come off the bottom hinge and was hanging there so we could not close the door properly as it would fall. We let reception know on our way out that evening, we were not offered a solution, and alternative or anything. Just an “oh ok we are sorry about that. ” To say that cooked breakfast was disappointing would be an understatement. I have no problem paying for good food but that was not worth the money to be spent. What made our stay much worse is that I had left brand new beauty products in the room. I am certain I had them there as they were purchased on the way to Wollongong. I also only took one bag with me so they have not been misplaced anywhere. I called reception this morning at 7:30am to ask her for them, who told me house keeping did not start until 9am but that she would ask them then and call me back. At 11:26am I called a second time as I’d heard nothing back to be told that she was going to call the lady that cleaned the room right away and let me know. At 2:50pm I had to call this place A THIRD TIME after no follow up again. This was a different lady who had no idea who I was or what I was calling for so there must have been no notes left. This lady did however call me back 5minutes later to tell me nothing was left in the room. If they were old products I probably wouldn’t care but they were brand new and RRP approx $150 and now they have magically disappeared. The lack of care and follow up is what makes this experience one of the worst I have encountered.
I will not be back.
