My husband and Myself had booked a powered site for the week before Xmas for 2 nights, using our NSW stay vouchers. Tried to cancel almost 3 months before due to a change in plans and we were told it was “policy” to charge a $50 fee or in this case a 50% cancellation fee. Since there is hunter valley Xmas lights and a killers concert as well this weekend and given the length of time there is no doubt the site will be easily filled and Ingenia will make a further profit. No customer satisfaction — I was simply told it was their policy — I explained that didn’t make it fair or reasonable. Due to many changing circumstances over the past few years we have not encountered this in any of the many caravan parks we have stayed in. It’s just a case of greedy and hiding behind “policy “! Travellers be warned ….

We stayed in the 3 bedroom poolside villas for just 2 nights. It was beautiful and clean. The park receptionist/manager I believe she was is fantastic and welcoming! The pool and spa were fantastic and clean. Overall the only disappointment I had was the fact we had to go home! 😍 We will definitely be back!

Great little park. Beautiful pool area with a heated spa. Clean facilities.
Small jump pad and play equipment for little kids.

Ideal location, close to the Wildlife park and Hunter Valley Gardens.
The standard cabin was a great size and very handy to have the full size kitchen.
The washing machine and dryer was a pleasant surprise too.
The bouncing cushion was a hit with my toddler.

Great caravan park — love the fire pit.

Accommodation was perfect! park was very inviting, great amenities.

Thank you for having us! We were so impressed with how beautiful the amenities are. We had everything we needed to camp comfortably in cold weather with our big family. The pool and spa are gorgeous. The playground was so fun for us. Everything is cleaned a few times a day. We were just so impressed! We will be back. Thank you xxx.

We had a 5 hour drive to get here to stay for 3 days and when we arrived the staff were friendly we got to our cabin it was clean and felt homely was a easy place to find and plenty of parking near the cabin for our 4WD. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here this weekend and the parks location and camp sites are fab. HOWEVER, the bathrooms are rarely cleaned. Utter filth every time you go in and clearly untouched in over 24+hours. We stayed at Ingenia Tomakin over NYE and had exactly the same issue. In 10years of camping, both Ingenia locations were disgustingly filthy and the worst amenities for cleanliness I have ever stayed at. If my partner every books an Ingenia park again I will not be going its put me off completely. Clearly a company that holds 0 value in cleaning schedules and cleanliness. Yuk!

We had a powered site and a cabin. Our site was a pool of water and mud. It was a mud pit everywhere. Drainage was so poor. Our caravanning neighbours were also unhappy with the lake outside of their site and the solution was to put a pallet out the front of their caravan. The general maintenance of the park was poor. Leaves piled high in the gutters which added to the water issue. The cabin was filthy! Sticky tiles, water spurting out of the grout when you walk on them. Water leaking all through the bathroom floor. Water leaking from the shower onto the carpet in the bedroom through the wall. Structural damage from the leaking bathroom. Mould and just dirty! We have stayed at a lot of caravan parks and this is by far the worst! Definitely not value for money and would not recommend!

We only arrived this afternoon and its lovely, relaxing, great cabin, awesome pool area, added bonus a live band playing in the street party retirement area.

Great location and just a relaxing place to be.

Great! Super clean and modern. Great facilities and friendly staff. Perfect place to stay to access the wineries.

Park is poorly designed at the moment we cannot recommend
But will have another look when toilets etc are finished.

Top spot the camp kitchen and amenities were spot on both very clean staff were helpful we will definitely be back.

Staff amazing great pool. Only downside was both times we have been here the washing machine in the cabin hasn’t worked.

I’m not one to complain but this is nothing like the photos online!
We have stayed at One Mile Beach & loved it! Do not stay at the Hunter Valley Park! This is the state of the cabins, made a complaint to reception & nothing they can do as it’s a “budget” cabin! Update — we got a call from Dan at Ingenia & he has upgraded us to a lovely pool side villa & was very accomodating.

Stayed while on school holidays. No programs for The kids and No Playground, No games room, Spa was closed, open fire not running and and No TV in the kitchen area.
We were placed on a site to where we could not Open the awning at all. Seems to be. Small and slightly crammed sights. Bit of a let down for a Big 4.
Traffic noise is pretty loud and seems to be a race track at night.
And speaking to different campers everyone has had different prices per night
Would not come back.

Fantastic place, Cabins were perfect, swimming pool was awesome for the kids.

Nice park with good clean facilities. Across the road from a lovely golf course and not too far from the town centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend the Blue Thai Restaurant — delicious food at reasonable prices and well served. You may need to book a table. Adding more "lifestyle" accommodation. Nice pool and a jumping thingy for the kids.

Facilities were very limited. Nothing really for kids to do besides the jumping pillow. Very disappointing that the spa was "closed of winter"… why you would close the only place the kids would swim in the cooler months.
The place is under construction of a lot of cabins/homes, starting to look more like a lifestyle village than a holiday park. (Maybe that's where it's headed? ) We were put at the back of the park which meant the closest toilets were a bit of a walk with young kids. Only 3 unisex toilets were in use (one other was a disabled and another used only for "the workers") which of a morning were occupied quite quickly. Would hate to see it during the busier months.
Overall it was an ok stay but would probably suggest that you advise future stayers that there is a lot of work being undertaken. We only caught the end of Fridays noise and Saturday mornings, but I would be pretty annoyed if I stayed throughout the week and had to listen to that every day. Luckily we visited The Hunter for the 'Snow in The Hunter Gardens" rather than relying on the park for its facilities.
Wouldn't stay there again to be honest.
