Beautiful atmosphere great friendly staff! The Beach House food and staff are amazing and the pool and spa area is amazing! The Endota Spa is a must do while you are there to pamper yourself.

Good location. Hotel is comfortable, if a little tired. Could do with an update. Pool area is nice, with plentiful free towels and a bar. Staff are fantastic, super helpful and friendly. Great touches for kids, including free drinks. Definitely recommended.

Food and Drinks. Service is excellent.

Stone and wood beer and Heineken beer on tap was very flat and the bar people wouldn’t believe me. They replaced the beer twice which was nice but I eventually gave up and left. Something is wrong with those two beers as I saw other people with very fizzy beer.

Lovely place to stay. Room 501 id the one to be in. It had a separate bedroom, lounge and dinning area. Special thanks to Tina in housekeeping and Teresa in the breakfast restaurant, both outstanding. Only negative I can say is the music until midnight…perhaps the glass doors need double glazing as it was extremely loud and if you want to go to sleep before then, good luck.

Best! The staff are so friendly and the room is clean and tidy! The pool was so nice and the sun beds!

We had our wedding at the Crowne on the 23-9-22. Everything was perfect. Nothing was a problem. Our guests commented how lovely the food and service was. Our wedding coordinator Alyssa Best was so helpful and made our day run so smoothly. She was amaZing! Highly recommend!

We love the Crown Plaza Terrigal and come a few times each year for a romantic getaway. Amazing service, beautiful rooms and such a pretty friendly area.

A good view of the beach. Step out and you are at the beach. Nice location. Staff is very friendly. Service was great. Loved the breakfast package with the room. A nice swimming pool on level one, not big but a normal sized one. Awesome buffet breakfast. The Grand Pavallion is just 300m away. Shahi Mahal is just 50m away. Lots of eateries and shops within few minutes walk from the hotel. Safe parking too available for hotel guests.

I got married here in March 2022, and can a say the communication, friendliness, helpfulness is epic. Their team from start to finish care about your day. They were great for recommendations and suggestions and really made sure everything was happening for me. The five star menu that has everyone bragging, the stunning rooms and the whole day! Thank you to Crowne for really bringing our day together for us!

Visited recently for a weeks holiday and despite covid related staff shortages the team at the hotel did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The rooms were fresh and well maintained. And as a bonus the hotel is positioned across from the beach front!

Had the worst experience. I went to the Seasalt Restaurant with my family, wanting to enjoy a holiday buffet breakfast. We arrived at 9.35am and the waitress explained the buffet promotion. We were told to pay before entering. It was only AFTER payment, the waitress told us the kitchen will close at 10am. I asked for a refund as there was no way to feed two kids and ourselves within 25 minutes. However they told us they were unable to do it. And we should be able to pile our food up before the kitchen close. I demanded a refund, however they rejected, stating they can't do it as they has misplaced the refund slip. Unbelievable for this to happen at an IHG hotel.

Absolutely beautiful view, service, rooms, the food was amazing.
However they waste way too much food, would be nice if we could have taken the 12 untouched salads and other foods with us. Or choose to donate.
It’s nice to have enough on the table however it doesn’t need to all come out then be thrown away.
Maybe you could use this message and learn from it in how you could change this and not waste so much food.

I was deeply appalled to have been kicked out of the Lord Ashley Lounge on the afternoon of 1/11/21. Despite presenting a member of staff a medical exemption stating it was against the advice of a health care professional that I’d be double vaccinated at the time. This was the first time I had been discriminated against not being double vaccinated due to having cancer. The member of staff did not bother reading my exemption. I was told to leave immediately because “we only allow people who are double vaccinated in our venue”. I was made to feel ashamed and left in tears.

Had the High Tea today, after reading all the positive comments I had to give it a try, was not disappointed the view the service was excellent and the food was beautiful…

Our room was located near a service room of some sort. A high pitched noise kept me up all night. When we informed reception, they sent someone up to investigate like it wasn’t a permanent problem with this room, but I can’t imagine how it isn’t! Fully booked… I guess somehow has to get the dodgy room!

Had a very relaxing break. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant and room service was delicious. A great experience. The views are beautiful. 🙌👍

We had a 2 night stay there this week. The staff were so Professional, polite and super friendly you couldn’t fault anyone at all. Great service especially in the Seasalt restaurant at Breakfast. & dinner. The room we had was perfect with great ocean views. Thank you for a great stay.

We have been at Crowned plaza Terrigal pacific a few times but this time was extra special. My daughters boyfriend was proposing and my daughter had no idea from the moment I booked the rooms till the time we left the staff were amazing! If there is a star system they get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks you were amazing.

I was very disappointed from the stander of the rooms it’s should be less than 3 stars full of insects I couldn’t sleep I was scared from the the insects also very poor customer service as we Booked on the call Center with a price and we found different rate as we arrived false adds never come to this Hotel any more I have a photo and a video attached long time a go it was really nice hotel not any more I will never recommend this hotel and I will tell everyone about this very sad.

Please for the love of god don’t stay here. I was shocked to see such bad service, the staff are so rude. I have had better service at a $29 motel and they think this is a 5 star hotel. It’s like going in a time machine back to the mid 90s. Due to COVID they don’t clean the room, they have cleared out the mini bar and all room amenities apart from towels have been removed. They told us if we need anything just call down and we will bring it up. We called down to order a drink as we didn’t have a mini bar. For 10 minutes this guy who called himself Sudhir a night manager wanted to argue with us about purchasing a drink. This person couldn’t manage himself out of a wet paper bag let alone deal with any sort of customer service, he has chosen the wrong line of work. I know why the hotel has him working through the night, it’s so they minimise the likelihood of him insulting and being rude to guests. We had some drinks by the pool, nice at first, what I didn’t like was the fact you pay $20 for a cocktail in a 5 star hotel and you get a bistro buzzer and have to go collect your drink. This hotel is cutting so many corners to reduce its costs however it’s blatantly noticeable to any guest with half a brain. On arrival we wanted to valet park our car, the sign out the front said "Valet Parking — $35. Bit steep for a rural town but ok, happy to pay it. Go inside to the receptionist "no sorry no valet parking due to COVID. I get it but take the sign down. Pure laziness.

The room, food, location, staff and facilities were all perfect. 3 night stay was absolutely value for money.

Perfect location, excellent breakfast selection and quality. Staff exceptional and room immaculate with lovely ocean views. My only moan would be having to pay for carpark. Can't comment on lunch or dinner as we ate out. We were fortunate that the hotel was quiet and therefore the pool was empty, but I wouldn't want to be there if it was busy as the sun loungers were packed too closely together.

Sensational stay! We attended a wedding set in the Salt Restaurant overlooking the ocean.
The service provided in setting up and ensuring everything was as requested was second to none!
The food was amazing and plentiful.
Such a magnificent venue and such incredible staff made the event a true fairytale!
At the end of the evening, we were invited into the bar, were again the attentive staff ensured everyone was catered to.
The final touch was from the security guard, who noting many women walking shoes in hand from sore feet, organised the supply of slippers! Such a magnanimous touch truly appreciated by the ladies!
Highly recommend everything about this wonderful Hotel! Thank you all!

Fantastic meal and great service from Hayley. Meals were sensational and cocktails were out of this world from the barman Adsm.

Very poor customer service. They ignore any requests to unsubscribe from their marketing emails. Unsubscribe link does not work. It is very annoying receiving several unsolicited marketing emails a week. It’s very frustrating and rude when your emails go unanswered. For almost a year now I’ve been trying to remove my email to no avail.

Took my Mum for a light lunch for her 93rd Birthday. I grew up in Terrigal, Mum has been living in East Gosford for over 20 years now in a small unit. She thouroughly enjoyed it. The Lord Ashley Bar was very comfortable for someone so elderly. The coffee, wrap and service was fantastic. The view triggered wonderful memories of years past.

Attended another function there recently. Had a pre function cocktail in the bar. My girlfriends waited a ridiculous time for their cocktails to be made. They only had two bar tenders at 6pm with a wedding going on aswell. We went to enter the function room at 6.30pm (the time stated on the invitation) only to find the room wasn't yet ready. The staff were all friendly and obliging yet not enough of them at a busy time of night.

Great location with an amazing view of Terrigal Beach and the Haven. Staff were very helpful and even recommended some Central Coast places worth visiting. The room was clean and well equipped. The pool was the best part with lounge chair service. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in a really nice location right by the beach (being able to hear the sound of the waves at night is always a great way to get to sleep! ). The room was in very good condition and the bed was comfortable. The shower head could have been a tiny bit higher but oh well. The buffet breakfast was high quality, I do appreciate being able to have freshly made eggs how I want them.

Typical hotel. It is in a great location across from the beach. Very lively at night and the weekend. It frequently has live music and a good atmosphere. Great for a beer or glass of wine follow a sun soaked day on Terrigal beach. It had food available and daily specials. Well worth a visit when you visiting the location.

Stayed one night to relax as we had a wedding far from home. Music was so loud even after 1.30am and couldn't sleep. Also wanted to relax in hotel during the day and also music playing so loudly all day! Unfortunately that spoilt our stay. Staff were very lovely though.

Was very nice and clean environment for the amount of people that was there. Friendly and well mannered staff. Deffently would recommend other people to go.

Just came back from a short stay, was pretty disappointed:
1. The room's heater basically didn't work — it was 19 degrees throughout the entire stay. The front-desk person was really helpful and tried to reset the heater and all, but it didn't really work. We just turned it off and wore our jackets in the room. We weren't keen on having a mobile heater in our room (not sure who would… we didn't think we were going camping! )
2. At check-out, we were slugged with an unexpected charge that was not told to us at check-in, not told to us when we booked online. The front-desk reception who attended to us at check-out simply said to the effect that we should have checked our email — we did, it said nothing about any additional charge for our child (we booked for 2 adults and one child and that was what we thought we paid for). We queried this at check-out (obviously was not resolved; so we just paid and left), and then we queried this on the live chat later (again unresolved).
We used to visit this hotel relatively frequently. I guess that's it for us.

Went to the beach bar with a group, we chose it as it has a family friendly reputation, provides high chairs and childrens menu. As our food arrived I realised I had to change my baby, went to the toilets and they have no change tables anywhere, a staff member informed us that we had to go around the front, inside the hotel to the 2nd floor to the nearest table. My baby had a massive explosion so taking her was not ideal and by the time we were back my food was cold. The food also wasn’t particularly great. Really disappointing for how much they charge.

Stayed in one of their suites overlooking the ocean and it was lovely. Bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was pretty good. Had a spa bath which was a bit dated but big enough for 2. Room service a bit slow however the breakfast in their Restaurant was very good. Overall our stay was very good.

Fantastic hotel with all the luxury items pool and gym and on site restaurant and bar and day spa/massage. Food was fantastic buffet breakfast was included in our room price and it was amazing. We also had the seafood platter for dinner again just delicious and worth the price.

Convenient location on Terrigal beach. A large hotel with the usual amenities and a great buffet breakfast in a light-filled dining area overlooking the beach — unlimited espressos made to order. Rooms are dated but spacious. No free parking but there is a council provided free unlimited multi-level parking station three minutes walk away.

Huge rooms a bit decadent (beware of the carpet, which is wrinkled) but with everything you need. Beautiful views from the restaurant and the highest rooms. Good for Congresses. The boiling water is a little difficult to regulate. Nice staff.

Great, friendly staff always willing to help. Happy to help out with parking costs and getting around. The bar food is great, and a good price too.

Had dinner in seasalt restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Staff were super nice (the if them wished us a happy anniversary), we received two complimentary glasses of bubbles… Just a great experience all round. Thanks guys!

True comfort is more than just high professional standards. Crowne Plaza has those, but they manage to do everything in a way that isn't at all uptight. I bet they have a low staff turn over, there is a happy, experienced, confident vibe that really puts you at ease.

Located just by the beach and you can go for a swim in the ocean or the heated pool. The kids love the location and great service at the hotel. We will come back again for sure.

Service was A1 from the moment we arrived to when we left… Kirstyn on the front desk was amazing in dealing with a situation we found ourselves in… we got an early check-in on Easter Weekend which was fab. Room 307 was on the third floor overlooking pool with partial sea views… unfortunately we were next to family and friends that booked 5 rooms next to our room… the front door which is a fire door continually slammed from the moment we arrive at 2pm to when we got back from the back and were chilling on the bed at 9pm when we were moved to another room… the situation was tough as kids were running up and down the corridor, screaming and shouting and running between rooms… Kirstyn dealt with out discomfort (wife is pregnant) and put us in a lovely suite (despite the hotel being fully booked). Reason I gave a 4/5 is that the hotel is a little tired especially in both of the rooms.

The Hotel and staff were exceptional. The food was the most ordinary I’ve ever had, the $25 hambuger would of been better put to use resouling a pair of boots, over cooked, and about the size of a junior burger. The buffet breakfast? Better of going to sizzlers. Canned fruit every thing was cold unless you waited until a new lot came out. The best thong about brekky was the coffee. Would definitely stay here again! And totally skip brekky and room service.

Hands down best hotel I have stayed at in Australia. We stayed in the Ocean view room, very clean and presented well. Staff so friendly & helpful. Awesome spot and the BEST breaky buffet. Can't wait to go back.

Complex and staff were fantastic, however I don't believe the room had aircon or a fan? There is a central heater but during the summer the room heats up quick.

Crown is right on the beach. Lots to do. Small village atmosphere. Pool, Endota Spa, beach bar with entertainment. Lots of eateries. Great for couples or families. Staff helpful. Great to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves crash.

Great place to stay with family. Friendly staff, good pool area. A relaxing stay, not too far from Sydney. However, stay away from the restaurant under the hotel, Florida Beach. Food is of poor quality.

Great location, basic amenities, very accommodating. Does needs renovating, shower was very low and were both tall. Forgot our drinks but offered a second round. Overall good but Def room for improvement.

My daughter booked us into this hotel for the gastro meal and view of the Terrigal fire works on New Years Eve.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, the meal was horrific. The portions were even lost in the saucer sized plates. The description on the menu in no way matched th food. The first course of snapper was ridiculously small, but we thought things can only get better. No. The last course of duck was a disgrace. It was so over cooked that it was very, very dry. My daughter booked this as a treat for us as we are on holiday from Scotland. So very, very disappointing, so disgusting for a chain as big as IHG of which I am a member. Regards Liz Duncan.

Location of the hotel is great — we had an awesome view of the beach from not a bad height. Really close to shops/restraunts and the beach. Room was clean, spacious and well presented. Service at the restaurant downstairs is great with absolutely fantastic breakfast — seriously some really good scrambled eggs :) I used to live on the central coast and come back here specifically to just have a little bit of a holiday and enjoy myself. Good to change it up from the city lifestyle.

The breakfast is exceptional and the staff will assist with any dietary requirements or seating requests. You can make a booking (preferred) or just as a walk-in and you should not be disappointed. If they have run out of your favourite dish or you’d like an omelette they are very obliging.
The coffee is good but sometimes a bit of a wait when it’s busy. A perfect time to relax and enjoy the ambiance and the view.

The meal was well presented, fresh and tasty, arrived in a good timeframe. The friendly service could have been improved as we had to search for someone to wipe down the table before we could sit down. A beautiful waterfront location with great live music, a festive vibe, it was a very enjoyable night.

Very nice place, I was only here for a meeting however the staff were friendly and the place is very nice to look at. Great location right in the heart of Terrigal. Not sure on the cost of rooms but I'm sure it's not cheap.

Great location & great room. Booked twin room with views of swimming pool and ocean. Room was spacious for 2 adults & 2 kids. They had plenty of room to play with their toys. Amenities were clean & we got free Wi-Fi. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the seasalt restaurant overlooking Terrigal beach. Highly recommend.

Great location. Got the best view on lvl 7 facing ocean. Room is clean and comfortable. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were amazing. This place is really recommended.

It is clean and well managed. The room amenities are as expected for the price. The breakfast options beat most other places in this class. We were happy with the services and quality in the resteraunt and bar.

There where food comfy beds and a sanatary bathrooms. The view was great with the beach just across the street. There was a heated pool, table tennis, gym and a spa which was wonderful. The heater was on all night and it got a bit stuffy at night which was the only downside. Overall, Crown plaza was a great hotwl to stay in!

Buffet breakfast was great. Service was friendly. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. Not a huge selection of food, and the omelette and coffee orders took quite a while to arrive at the table, but all in all a pleasant meal. We'll go back again.

The staff here are amazing. We got married here on Saturday and they worked so hard to create a beautiful vegan gluten free menu and to make it an amazing day. Unfortunately our cake didn't come and they spent their whole day ringing the company (who wouldn't answer and were too scared to inform us that we would not be receiving a cake) before creating a special dessert for us in its place at the last minute. I honestly can't describe how beautiful, caring and hardworking the staff are, in particular Katie and Alvaro who made our day better than I ever thought possible! The chefs make fantastic food and are such hardworking and caring people. Everyone who looked after us on our wedding weekend was amazing. I can't wait to come and visit on our first anniversary! Thank you for your tireless efforts to create the best day of our lives! It wouldn't have been half as great without you all!

The rooms were nicely setup and the staff were very helpful. We forgot our tooth brushes and the brought 2 up when asked. Also visited the gym and sauna. The gym had an old rocky feel to it which got me really pumped to work out. One small negative about our room was the TV wasn't USB compatible meaning we couldn't enjoy some of the movies we had brought along with us. Also the Wi-Fi was expensive and misleading, it said you reviewed 3gb of data for 24 hours but in the fine print it said if you reach 1gb it will be turned off.

Hi, I don't usually write a review but after staying three days weekend at the crown plaza terrigal, I felt that I need to express the excellent service that they have. All the employee will go an extra mile for the guests. One thing the food can be much better than whatit is at the moment. Thank you for the top service and the great attitude that all employees have.

My wife and I stayed at Crowne Plaza Terrigal on a Saturday night. We attended the Westpac Helicopter Charity Ball. Our room had views to the pool and beach. The room was clean and silent. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. It was a perfect night for us. Staff was cordial and food very nice.

The food has been fabulous and the beds (and pillows) are wonderfully comfortable. The staff have been very friendly and the hotel is right across the road from the beautiful beach. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool looks inviting. I just couldn't give the 5th star because the the conference facilities are a little tired, as are the bathrooms (clean! But tired). I would certainly come back though.

Menu is ok… a little boring, but had the basics. Reasonably clean/tidy. It does seem to cater more for the 20 something crowds.

From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with a smile. They took our bags for us and had them put in our room, so happy to help also. The room was great and maintained well too, always kept clean and the room service team was so friendly and polite. Great sized one bedroom! My 3 year old son also had his hand stuck in the elevator door (no fault of the hotels) and their security guard Adnane was incredible! He rushed over so quickly and pulled his hand right out, he stayed with him afterwards to make sure he was ok and even managed to make him smile after the tears! He was one of the most loveliest and sweetest person I have ever encountered. The girls at the front desk brought him ice and made sure he was ok, they couldn't have done a better job at helping us, I was left speechless at how amazing they all were. Upon returning home they even phoned us to check in to make sure he was ok. Good customer service is so rare these days but this hotel is one of the best managed places I have ever stayed. Will most definitely visit here again soon!

Here for a conference and the service, rooms, and catering were all fabulous. No free Wi-Fi, which is disappointing if not surprising.

Another wonderful night at Crown Plaza Terrigal! Staff were very helpful, in room dining and overall room/location was awsome.

Breakfast is great, and as a HCG rewards club member free Wi-Fi was provided, however that's where the positives end. Paid top dollar for the king ocean view room however as soon as we opened the door we were displeased. The room has a "dingy" smell and feel about it. First order of business was to kill/remove the cockroaches that were crawling around. Looked to the bed and it was very lumpy. The cleanliness was a 2/10 at best. It was obvious the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly in a long time, you could tell by the debris and dust piled up in the corners/edges of the bathroom floors. First thing I saw when I looks at the bath/shower was the hair (obviously pubic) of the last person that showered/ bathed there. Soon closer inspection there was many different hairs through the bathroom. The shower/ bath was covers in water staining and MOULD yuck! You couldn't pay me to have a bath in this place and needless to say I kept my things on to shower! I had the worst sleep ever due to the musty/ dirty/ old smell of the pillows. I ended up covering them with various times of clothing so I wouldn't have to smell them/ feel dirty and germy! I could go on but I'll leave it at that. The standard has definitely slipped dramatically since the last time we stayed 6 months ago. We will be looking for another place to stay for our anniversary in future.

Decent sized rooms, small view of the water. Check-in/check-out was a painless and quick process. Located in the heart of Terrigal and essentially within walking distance to most local places.

Amazing views, comfortable bed.

I've been to Terrigal plenty of times and every time I've been there it was never disappointing the staff were very nice, the veiws were great, the food from the restraunt was enjoyable and the pool was very nice.

Had two meals. Wouldn't recommend either of them. How do you overcook fish and chips? Staff made no effort to rectify the situation. Typical, really. Woeful for a 4 star hotel.

The staff where so friendly going again in January for 15 days so excited the pool is amazing and their food they have good cleaning service.

We stay here at least twice a year, staff are lovely, food and coffee is awesome and it's a stones throw to the beach. Balconies are private too which is so rare now! Yet it's a bit expensive but this hotel is worth it.

The swimming pool was absolutely disgusting. I could see hundreds of mucous-spits in the water and hair-balls. There was no one to take orders for drinks at the pool. Wait for a coffee was 35 minutes! No toilet paper in the pool toilets. Rooms were OK. People were friendly.

Having booked the CP Terrigal to stay whilst attending an afternoon beach wedding, we asked to be able to check in early to get ready. Not only were the staff accommodating, but somehow we even managed to score an ocean view room! Everyone from the Concierge to the check in girls to the room maids were friendly and professional and even having a large beast of a car which would not fit in the carpark was sorted out quickly and efficiently by providing some off street parking. Just wish we could have stayed for a bit longer. Next time for sure. Thank you Crowne Plaza Terrigal we shall be back! :).

Location is superb at this hotel as you can literally get ocean views from almost all the balconies, ideally located to lots of restaurants and bars, there is no shortage of places to eat or drink. The staff were also very friendly and courteous, I really loved the breakfast room with its fantastic view of the ocean. Only one small problem is I didn't like the food as much as I would have. But you can always go outside to eat. Breakfast at the breakfast room is excellent and should not be missed.

Not sure about the hotel itself but the beer garden downstairs is great. Awesome selection of drinks on tap and good food selection. Nice outdoor live music and plenty of seating outside with views of the water. Family friendly. Be aware that food takes a long time to come out during the peak. We waited 1 hour for our food at 8pm.

Fantastic, is the one word that describes this place. I have come hear since I was a baby and it has not lost its perfectness. The only complaint that I would have is, it is a touch to expensive. Literally a touch, but this is just outweighed by the Excellent Quality, Excellent Facilities and Excellent Service.
