RK Suite Hotel

Stay for the night. The room or suite had everything to cater to your needs, myself didn't get time to appreciate, breakfast and evening meals were of a buffet type.
Would recommend to travellers to stay here.
In the centre of luanda, but I didn't venture out as I was only stopping for a short stay.

A bit expensive compared to other places in Africa. But what do you expect in Luanda, the 9th most expensive city in the world. The studio has all the basic necessities including a kitchen and living room. Room 1102 on the 11th floor has excellent views of the city and a dedicated Wi-Fi router just for your room. The buffet is fine but can get a little repetitive but you takeaway from a multitude of restaurants in the area. 2 grocery stores are also within walking distance so all in all a good place — if you can pay USD 200+

The hotel is in a good location in town. Staff were amazing and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. Home away from home, I would definitely come back next time I visit Luanda.

Location: mid of city near 20 minutes away from my clients.
At night not recommended at all to go out.
No activities can performed in the hotel. Only small gym on the roof.
If you're a smoker you need to go to the roof using elevator then 2 floors on stair to smoke.
Food quality is OK no much varieties but restaurant hygiene is average.
People are very friendly and supportive.
Apartment is nice quite big, but if you're travelling for business you'll need anything from kitchen except coffe and fridge.
Bed length is 180 cm which is not comfortable for tall people dunno if they can change.
Great view from high level, sunset from rooftop is amazing.

I liked this place, it was nicer than my own apartment at home. It’s very modern and spacious, even a pleasant balcony. There are grocery stores, bars, restaurants are nearby within a couple blocks. The free airport shuttle is a huge perk, plus it’s only a short drive away too.

After much research it seems as though I’m the only one (from my group) that needed to stand outside/the passenge to access Wi-Fi. As someone that came here on a business trip, I was majorly inconvenienced. I had to sit outside my room, by the passenge to connect. I had 2 gentleman try fix it but I don’t think it was meant to be and unfortunately for me, I had work to do. Wouldn’t recommend for foreigners looking for a place with good network connection. Only the 1st night of 4 nights and I’m already missing home or wishing I was at a different hotel ☹️😩💔😭

If looking for a comfortable, clean bed, at an affordable rate, then this is the place. There is not much glamor here. The suite is equivalent to a one bedroom apartment. However, no coffee was provided just tea, no sockets in the kitchen, drinking water was not replenished after the second night. There is no view at all, in fact kept the curtains drawn. I asked for a room change since the hotel was very empty but was given an excuse about the other side of the hotel being noisy. That was not the case. There is no sea view room given the hotel is in downtown. Service is okay but breakfast is the same limited selection every night. You get either, fish, chicken or steak for lunch and dinner. Cable barely works and has a frosty picture, only news channel available was BBC. It's close to the airport, however, so not much traffic. ATM is nearby and a pharmacy if you need one. It was a decent stay and definitely a three star as there is much to improve on. Language is a barrier as staff know limited English. The Wi-Fi was horrible, hardly worked in the room and kept disconnecting, had to keep finding a new connection. The hotel is old, come with an international adapter as one is not provided. Note that the hotel does not have a PDQ machine, payment is made on an online portal.

Returned a second time. Was even better, personable, efficient, and a simply a pleasure. Management & staff was very attentive, kind and accommodating. A family atmosphere while remaining business-like and service for the business person. Prices are excellent and you actually receive allot more value for your money as compared to other hotels in Luanda which are over priced. Loved the breakfast too! Nothing negative to say about this hotel, only very positive!
