Very nice place inside castle. Good food.

The most beautiful Hotel in Berat to enjoy the view from the citadel.
Take the opportunity to admire the Byzantine church and the gigantic statue of the bust of Constantine the Great.
The views of the valley and the city from the lookout are just breathtaking!
Albania, (land of eagles) is filled with beautiful places and locals always benevolent towards travelers, Berat is one of them.

I ate the best moussaka ever at Hotel Klea, this is a family business, the people are very friendly and all the food is made with love. I will definitely come again next year 🤗

Amazing experience all around! The food was to die for and the owners are wonderful and super friendly. The location of this boutique hotel is perfect for experiencing the castle and the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back and visit!

Attractive and Very Welcoming. We spent two nights and were well taken care of. Customer service is superb. The room was a bit small, but we are only there to sleep. There are attractive patio areas to eat and have a drink. Breakfast was excellent (as it is basically everywhere in Albania! They like a good breakfast. )

Nice terrace in a garden among roses. Limited availability of dishes (may/pre-season? ) but tasty food.

A very nice and cosy restaurant, beautiful view and brilliant albanian food. Ask the owners to serve you small albanian dishes. The staff speaks english. Strongly recommended when in Berat.

A family run hotel and restaurant where I felt at home. Nice traditional cosy room, warm atmosphere in general and then… the food. As a Romanian I got back in my childhood seeing the mousaka, the stuffed aubergines, the delicious preserves. The Berat Castle is a piece of Heaven and Bora, Leonida, Xenopole and little Klea are very special people to whom I wish all the best Luck in the world. Love you guys.

Fantastic authentic stay in a historical house in the old castle of Berat. The Room was very interesting with lots of attention to little details — carved wooden ceilings, floor coverings, etc. But also with a nice modernized bathroom with everything functional. Our room had a spectacular view of the sunset over the river valley. The family that runs the place and other employees were extremely friendly and accomodating. The food was all excellent, and our stay included a breakfast with homemade jams and cheese. Very highly recommended for any stay in Berat, and worth the trip just to stay.

It is a lovely place. The service was perfecet. Rooms were very comfortable. Also food is very Delicious.

Lovely, in the Byzantine Citadel, at the top of the rock. Recommend using the paved road at the entrance to the city and not the road paved and very steep in the historical center.
