Excellent hotel with lovely staff and exceptional food. There is something very special about staying in an hotel built in the 1800’s that’s lovingly renovated and so stylish.

I have been booking work meetings at The Peel for a few years now and the staff are always accommodating. This time I stayed in the accommodation and had a charming four poster bed.

A lovely clean pub with hotel quality rooms above, fabulous food with an included breakfast which was excellent and a really friendly atmosphere with hardworking, friendly staff.

Great service and a warm welcome. The food was really good, especially after a long day on various trains. My room was clean and warm. Will stay again next time I'm in the area.

After an exhausting and fun day at Drayton Manor we had a lovely welcome at check in, the room was perfect.

Great location, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Stayed for one night in a family room. The room looked like it has just been renovated, lovely size rooms, comfortable beds.

Having lived in Tamworth for over 30 years then leaving in 2003, we came to stay for a friends surprise 50th. I couldn't believe I'd never stayed here before.

Booked a room last minute. Such an amazing room! Couldn’t fault a thing! Very warm welcome from the owner. Showed us straight to the room and explained to us where everything is that we needed.

We had our vow renewal in the function rooms so had booked a night to stay at the hotel. Staff were amazing, even had swans on the bed, complimentary wine and the room was lovely!

We traveled all the way from Taiwan. We arrived late at 8 PM, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and the bed was comfortable.

Katie is always friendly and happy to help whenever I need. She always does her best to make my stay as comfortable as possible!

The room is great and offers all I need to sleep well and so alittle work.
The location is very easy to get to from the road.
The place is very clean and great value for money.

Parking a bit of a nightmare. A few tight spaces, could be a problem staying if car park full. Staff very pleasant. Rooms clean but could do with a little updating and painting.

Dont believe the bad reviews! Lovely little pub, friendly and efficient staff. Nice clean room with two pillows each and drink facilities! Of course its loud below, its a pub!

Nice place. The host takes care of cleanliness and guests. Sends all information to email (describes in great detail). The apartment is clean. There are coffee, tea and milk.

Amazing apartment perfect for weekend trips or weekday working!
Would easily suit couples or small families enjoying the area.
The washer dryer is an added bonus when working away!

We arrived at the end of the day, tired, hot and hungry. As soon as we were checked-in by the friendly and efficient staff, we were able to relax.

Arrival and booking in was easy and all staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel cleanliness an all public rooms and my bedroom area was excellent.
