Seoul Hotels near Shin Seon-Wonjeon

My detailed review of Orakai Daehakro Hotel.
This was my first time in Seoul, and I was really nervous about booking a hotel. I checked countless locations and reviews.

First time visiting Seoul. Found this place from Best Western site in the USA. It was very well located. BW could better advertise it because it dies not have BW in the name. Staff is warm, friendly.

Amazing hotel, I’m already looking for my next trip in it, plays a big part of my lovely trip. Very calm and family like which was the perfect atmosphere I need!

I stayed in this hotel during my holiday in Seul. The room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel is situated near many city attractions, it has a very good position.

Lovely guesthouse in a lively area close to metro and bus stops. Super clean and with a very well equipped kitchen with food available for the guests! I had a single camera.

From 2018 Winter, followed by 2022 Winter, and Winter 2024, we're checking in at this guest house again because it's clean and super close to the beautiful places to visit in Seoul.

We spent 4 night at this guesthouse which is really good value for the money.
The room is smallish for 2 people but we felt comfortable and the bathroom is quite spacious.

Visited last year in 2024. Great appartement to be able to visit Seoul. Friendly staff to help where needed.

Really lovely room. My mother and I had a wonderful time staying here. The washroom was a bit small, so for someone larger it may be a bit inconvenient to shower. However, everything else is great.

My friend and I stayed at the May Place Hotel in Seoul, and I must commend their exceptional service.

The hotel staff were very friendly and able to make themselves available throughout our 3-week stay. Nothing to say about the cleanliness of the rooms are cleaned every day.

The host or front desk texted my husband to ask about our arrival time but the worker seemed a little grumpy when we arrived; maybe end of his shift?

Rooms are very good for the value. Location is almost excellent, just a little hidden for taxi to find the hotel, but close to line 3, 1 and 5 metro and other attractions.

Hamil Hotel was a great place to stay. The check-in process was easy to follow, and the instructions were clear and helpful.

Place was super clean. The only reason I gave it a four star is because there was no TV in the room. And you can easily hear guests from the next room.

Host were really friendly to us from Malaysia. Best hospitallity provided to me and my family. Clean room and bathroom provided. Beautiful hanok village house!. Really love the scenery.

The host is very responsive. The room is like a typical Hanok but it is worth the experience.

I feel great to stay at such a wonderful guesthouse. The view of Bukjeong Village is wonderful and the sky is beautiful. The inside of the I'm Green guesthouse is even cooler.

A wonderful guesthouse located next to an old fortress. It is a comfortable lodging filled with the host's heartfelt care, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic trip.

So beautiful! The lady boss was very nice and she kept our luggage even though we arrived early🥹I'm really sorry that we disturbed her while she was still cleaning up the room.

It's great for a stay with friends or family. The comfortable and quiet atmosphere makes it a great place to rest while traveling.

A quaint, quiet, and cosy traditional house with excellent location. It’s practically just a 5 mins walk or less to Gyeongbokgung palace. The nearby park is also a great spot to visit.

A Hanok stay experience is always special. We chose this place for its proximity to Geongbokgung palace and the Bukchon Hanok access. It’s very accessible from the main road, and part of a quiet area.

Perfect location in the historical heart of Seoul, friendly manager was extremely nice and helpful, highly recommended.

This hanok stay is worth it! The location is great and it’s a cute little place. The host is responsive and I enjoyed my stay at a traditional and old hanok. Definitely recommended!
