Great little hotel in the center of the old part of the town, great location. The high rating is certainly correct. We spent just a single night here and would stay longer if we could.

Excellent location and wonderful staff. We booked one of the junior suite attic rooms and it was perfect. Nice veranda and very comfy bed. Breakfast was great. Coffee and buffet.

El Moderne Gijón is a very good all-rounder — a typical city hotel, but on the better side. The location is excellent and makes exploring the city easy.

We love the hotel location and layout of the room. However, we overlooked the fact that it is a pet friendly hotel and we were traveling without pets.

Very nice boutique hotel right where you want to be in Gijón. Everything is very walkable in the city. Nice and quiet side street. Rooms are super fresh and have a modern design.

Very nice hotel but AC didn’t work at night. Therefore I didn’t sleep well. Breakfast was also very limited and the lift was confusing to use in the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Silken Ciudad Gijón for two days during my visit to Gijón, and it was a truly pleasant experience.

The room was comfortable enough, not much of a view and not a whole lot going on in the surrounding neighborhood.

Great value hotel in Downton of Gijón, be aware that they have neither parking nor any agreement with a parking. You will have to add +20€ to you booking.

This is a gem in Gijón. We love the fact that the rooms have split AC units. Room are large with wood floors. Very clean, affordable and a great location.

This is a wonderful hotel in Oviedo in Spain. My room looked out over the sea and harbour. Lovely breakfast and room.

This maybe old fashioned hotel is situated on the beach front within walking distance of everything. Old town, Elogio del horizonte. It doesn’t have parking, but public parking at €22/day available.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean room. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Comfortable, if quite small, double bed. Fantastic location.

Awesome place awesome owner. 2 bedroom with kitchen and living room. 1 block off town square. All the amenities including washing machine and heated rack in bathroom. Reasonable price.

Nice rooms, they are small but clean and comfortable. The shower is small but the shower head is awesome and the water great.

We've been road-tripping through multiple cities across central northern Spain for two weeks, and hands down, this hotel has been the bets by far.

This is a nice family run hostel that was perfect for me. It's location is excellent, in the old town, close to everything.

First stay for two nights. The hotel is situated in the Plaza de Humedal with some shops below and trees infront of it.
You only see the main glass door on the ground floor.
