We stayed at the Play Theatrou for a few days in mid-October. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, would readily book us taxis and transfers, etc.

The hotel is perfect and so is the staff. We are a little away from the huzzle and buzzle of Athens, which is nice. But still in waking distance to everything.

Reception was warm and friendly throughout my stay. I absolutely loved my Junior Suite — it was the perfect size, and comfortable. Great breakfast and welcome amenities.

Location is excellent, close to all the action in the swanky neighbourhood of Monastiraki, with bars and restaurants and world famous flea market. Atmosphere around hotel is cool, and area is safe.

Perfectly located and perfectly priced. We enjoyed the centrality of the hotel to the main part of the city. Just a few minutes walk from Monastiraki Square. And a minute from Habad.

Superb experience. Centrally situated a shot walk from Acropolis, the House of Parliament, Plaka, everything that’s worth seeing in Athens.

Beautiful rooms. Well appointed. Quiet location yet convenient to major sites. Stunning view of the Acropolis from some rooms. The staff is fantastic. The breakfast is superb.

A nice hotel in a good location just a ten minute walk from the city center. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and are cleaned regularly.

We spent two nights in this hotel and I cannot rate it highly enough. The reason is that the staff were amazing, especially at Reception.

To be honest, this hotel is kinda wild – in the best way.
My first thought was: “Great, another hotel trying to be everything at once: hipster bar, spa, and 5-star luxury…”
But I was wrong.

A hotel that makes you feel at home. The hotel is wheelchair accessible in terms of entering, exiting and moving around the hotel.

Our rooms was small but clean. We were on the 6th floor and our room had a balcony with a great view of the Acropolis.

We were transferred to here by BA from our original hotel site was under renovation. The rooms are a bit narrow with semi-mirrored walls.

My daughter & I stayed at this hotel for a week, to see the sights, explore Athens, visit Piraeus where I had spent a lot of time as a child, the odd beach day etc.

We enjoyed 4 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was fairly small, but comfortable. Toiletries were provided and smelt lovely, tea and coffee is also provided. The bed was very comfortable.

Lots of spaces to sit and chat or play games outside the rooms. The AC in the rooms isn’t very strong. Had to call the front desk a few times to get it worked on. Great breakfasts in the morning!

We spent a perfect stay at a perfect hotel. Monument is truly a magnificent place nestled in the center of Athens, yet calm, relaxed and serene.

Unlike any other hotel we’ve been to. The vibe is akin to visiting a very rich friend in his mansion. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.
