Nice location good hospitality the staffs there are amazing.

Nice hotel with nice staff, very close to many of Istanbul old sites, althoug the breakfast place is a lettle bit small… my room was with window on the Marmara gulf with a beautiful view.

We were very disappointed by this hotel. The electrics in our cramped room were unsafe and some of the lights did not work. The duvet was too small for the bed which meant using a larger one which had no cover. That was very unhygienic. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was the same thing each day — none of it seemed freshly prepared. There was no fruit juice as shown in the photographs, and one day there was no milk. 'It is finished' was all we were told. Everything was small and cramped, there were untrained men there hanging about, it seemed. After breakfast these men would spend the day in the restaurant area smoking. The desk staff were friendly but their English was limited and their knowledge of tourists' needs was poor. Although the hotel was central for tourists' needs in Sultanahmet this is not one I would recommend.

There were so many bad things about this hotel that I don't know where to start. For your own sake, please bear with me and read along… 1) First of all, we arrived by car as we previously reserved a parking space. Besides being very hard to reach by car (many one way streets, all of them very crowded), when we arrived at the hotel some non-English speaking staff jumped in our car to show us how to reach the parking space. We were directed to a car wash being told the parking is inside the car wash (! ). Next, we were requested to provide the car keys to the car wash staff so they will park our car in a very crowded and narrow space. After we refused and were almost yelled at, we were finally allowed to park the car ourselves and keep the car keys (we did not want to leave the keys because of the very unsafe location). 2) After the check-in, we arrived in our rooms on the top floor of the hotel, only to find a strong moisture and mold smell inside both rooms, and especially inside the bathrooms (oh, and did I mention we had to climb the stairs all the way to the top floor as the elevator was not working? ). The rooms were also incredibly small and in bad condition (you could literally see the sky through holes in the walls in one of the rooms), and also pretty dirty (hair all over the bathroom floor). Also, one of the air conditioners was broken and dripping water all over the floor, inside the room.

Hello! Dear travellers who stayed at this hotel in 2015 with 28.08.15-30.08.15 G. Was pleasantly surprised by all the staff! Kind, sympathetic, attentive, beautiful! Special thanks to the chef Goulet, very tasty prepares, at my request, helped me cook dinner the man with whom I was vacationing! Speaks Russian! Clever and beautiful! I advise everyone who wants to visit Istanbul, to stay in this hotel! Help, prompt, feed! Sincerely, Jeanne!

Very nice place to stay. They are very friendly. The staff were very helpful in so many ways. The location is very nice, close to the bus stations and about 40 minutes from the big airport. If you are traveling to Istambul and are looking for a place to stay, Hotel Old Panorama is the place.
