Great spot for a Staycation in Dublin. Food, Hospitality and Drinks 🍹 excellent.

It was a great experience with good food and helpfull staff.

I stayed here with my husband for a night as a treat and all I can say is it was an amazing experience from service to food to the room everything was fantastic staff are very attentive and really amazing place to stay Georgous atmosphere I will be back.

Lovely hotel, our room was 30square meters Margiela house products in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Triple glazed windows. A gorgeous library. The staff were very attentive to all our needs eventhough we were only there for 1 night. And the sommelier knows his stuff when it comes to whiskey. Loved the tranquility of the place in the middle of our very busy Dublin city.

Relaxing setting on the outdoor terrace in the afternoon sun with very tasty cuisine and cool beverages … summer is here.

Wonderful attentive staff. Fabulous decor. Rooms a tad on the small side and disappointed that our room did not have a bath. But we had a lovely stay, regardless.

Beware if your room overlooks the back of Searsons Hotel. A nightmare night and it finally stopped at 3.00 am. Other than that, it was a nice hotel. Staff were very helpful.

How to review this hotel? It presents a massive challenge. The food and drink were outstanding. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms well appointed and very comfortable. The customer service is where there is a problem. The hotel staff are very well trained and ran nearly all functions of the hotel to an excellent standard. Except that on my floor, the 2nd, there was some celebrity staying and apparently smoking all the weed Ireland had to offer. The entire floor, including my room stunk of weed. I make no judgments of anyone but the manger who on check-out told me: "We've kicked the signer out. I wouldn't know what weed smells like; some people like it". A 450 Euro a night the halls and my room shouldn't stink. The lack of concern on this simply means I'll exercise choice — — there are other outstanding hotels in Dublin.

I had a terrible experience. The staff was inconsiderate and rude. 1. Ground floor room: No privacy — people walk outside and have a direct view of your whole room. If you close your blinds, no sunlight the whole day. I asked to be moved to a higher floor. They agreed to move us the next day. We were told we could move until 1 pm but instead they came at 10 am and hurried us to move in 10 min. That left us with no time to pack and no time to make sure nothing was left behind. 2. My bathroom essentials were left behind. I informed the front desk, was told it would be resolved the next day. The following day only half of my bathroom essentials were returned. Interestingly, my expensive travel essentials were the ones missing including my little fancy travel razor and my Brazilian soap. I explained to the front desk the issue but nothing came of it. 3. We called the front desk to ask if we had to pay for making calls within Dublin. We were informed we did not. I made one call. When I checked-out, I was charged 25 cents for the call and I paid it. I did however take the time to explain that I did not mind paying but I did mind being given incorrect information. As I walked away, I overheard the front desk personnel talking about me in a very rude way. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Never returning to this hotel again. I hope you don't either. Dublin has so many amazing choices, don't take on the stress of having to deal with this staff.

We spent our honeymoon in Dublin in 2016 and stayed at Hotel Dylan. Not only was it comfortable, luxe, and relaxing, but the staff was also a joy to meet. It's been almost two years since our stay at Dylan, and we are still raving about it. One excellent thing about Dylan is the location: it's in the heart of Dublin (right where you want to be if you're a first-time visitor to Ireland! ) and within walking distance from shops, pubs, and coffee joints, but still tucked away enough that it's quiet and restorative. I highly recommend Dylan Dublin, and I can't wait to go back!

Cute little boutique hotel. Even though I booked for a single person and had a corporate rate they let my partner stay with me for free. Thank you so so much! The rooms were quiet, bed and pillows really comfy, free water and it's a nice walk away from the city or all major tech companies. Really loved the shower and the heated floor. Right around the corner are great breakfast places, stores, restaurants and pubs. Didn't have food but there is a beautiful restaurant and bar part of it. Plenty of space to sit outside or inside too. Really enjoyed it and prize was really good for Dublin.

Had there a dinner. Very happy with a service and meal! Special thank you to staff in the hotel keatchen. Waitress kind, nice and operated in a good time. Will be back soon.

Myself and my two young daughters stayed over Easter! We really enjoyed our stay! Dylan won’t disappoint, from the boutique style decor to the extremely friendly staff!
Our room was upgraded my girls were so thrilled! Room was very spacious! And comfortable We will definitely return for another stay Much prefer this type of hotel, decor and size
And in quiet location! oh The brunch menu was delicious!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Dylan Hotel. The front of house staff could not have being more friendly and helpful. I dined on possibly the best peice of cod I have eaten in a while. Not alone the main course, Pea soup was tasty and I enjoyed a really nice desert. Finally, the bed was as expected, comfortable and I slept like a log. All good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained rooms and bathrooms. Heated floors in the bathrooms are a nice touch! Water pressure is good. The furniture and carpets in room are a little faded, but maybe that's the style. Overall I'd say it's a very solid pick but not quite as polished as in the photos.

I visited with my friend for a casual meal and drink last Thursday. My friend ordered a Venison Stew which, it transpired later, was unavailable. The manager was very apologetic about the error and insisted that they would like to give us some free drinks to apologise. I declined as I felt the apology was sufficient and I did not need them to cover the cost of free drinks, the waiter (manager? ) insisted however and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had dinner for 1 night. The room was stunning, however the TV flickered on and off (although settled down after about 20 minutes) and we had to have the battery changed on the safe (which was done very quickly), as the safe did not initially work. The only other negative was that the shower's side heads (as opposed to the one in the ceiling) did not work very well. However the main shower head was very good and loads of hot water. We also had a separate bath in the bathroom and 2 separate sinks! These are the negative (very minor) points out of the way and now the positives: The room was massive The bed was increadibly comfortable The bathroom supplies were lovely to use The dinner we had on Friday night was brilliant The staff on the front desk were all so friendly and could not be more helpful This hotel is about a mile or so from Temple Bar, but it is an easy walk (Dublin is flat) and means that the hotel is very quiet.

Big fan of the Dylan ever since it was The Hibernian. Much more swanky and hipstery these days but still a nice spot.

Had Christmas dinner here. Wasn’t impressed by the evening. Quality of service was less than expected for a boutique hotel. I think the Decor is nice and definitely a place I’d still go for a few drinks.

Only go there for coffee but interiors look beautiful. Coffee is exceedingly good and staff discreet, efficient and friendly. Very nice loos… my daughter loves the waterfall sink. Star deducted for untidy hand soap/hand lotion area.

A hidden gem! Amazing food and service. Accommodated us early in the evening as we were going to concert. Crystal glasses, beautiful ambiance and just really amazing food. Very attentive staff. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I had the worst dining experience ever in The Dylan Hotel and looking at reviews it seems to be a common theme, I dine out at least twice a week and never experienced anything like it. We got there at 8pm, got seated and waited, and waited, took 20 minutes to get a menu. So we ordered. Ordered a nice wine as well. Wine arrived, glass I had was dirty, got another one, also dirty, this is a 5 star hotel so there is no excuse for dirty glasses, waiter had to go clean one in the kitchen, looking at the table beside us, the glasses were also dirty. Starters didn't arrive until after 9pm, they were both cold starters and took 40 minutes to get to us. When they arrived we requested that our mains be sent out ASAP. The Bouillabaisse was tiny, look up any picture of it and dived it by 4 and that's what I got. We asked for the bill and left. During the whole meal the table beside us was never cleared from the previous customers. Service was just awful.

Nice place for a drink. Don't come here for a meal — two and a half hours for three courses — some of it very good — the rest very poor. Big disappointment. Won't be back.

We stayed here for one night in June. The location is great — on a very quaint street across from a small park. It's removed enough to be quiet — with some nice pubs around the corner — but a close enough walk to the center of town as to not feel isolated. Definitely has a boutique feel — the entire staff was great, breakfast was excellent. The bar area is really charming as is the dining area. The whole premises have a great feel. The rooms, at least ours, felt like it could have used a bit updating (we had room 211) — it didn't seem to match the quality of the rest of the property (or some of the pictures of nicer looking rooms we saw online) — but we were only staying the one night and I'm sure they have nicer rooms on the premises. This would be the one mark against it — the room we had didn't seem to match the rest of the experience, especially for the price. All in all though, seems a nice hotel and a solid choice when in Dublin.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a two night stay at Dylan. Well what can I say… this has been one of my most favourite hotels ever to stay in! Staff are second to none can't do enough for you and so friendly. Beautiful surroundings were you can sit outdoors watching the world go by. Beautiful bedrooms with first class service! I can't wait to visit again and hopefully before this Summer is out! Thank you at ALL at Dylan for making our stay so pleasant all staff are a credit to this beautiful Hotel… xx forgot to mention the food was amazing best brekkie ever! Thanks for making my husband's 50th so special! Xx.

Didn't stay in the hotel, only had breakfast in their restaurant. The food is devine. Eggs Florentine were absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere (team breakfast). The only suggestion I have is for staff to not put the tea bags in the water, let customers do it. You never know how strong do customers like their tea.

Dont order the Omelette if you are expecting anything else like even garnish on the plate, if it was two eggs in there they must have been humming bird eggs! It looked so sad been served on a big plate. Used to like the place!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have spent the night here last night our experience can be summed up with one word. Wow!
Not alone is the hotel visually impressive both inside and out but it is also welcoming and friendly the service was remarkably impressive.
The atmosphere within the bar area after the game was outstanding and the breakfast this morning was incredible we will most definitely be returning in the near future.

This hotel is excellent, great rooms and friendly staff, especially the concierge. He set my wife and up with theater tickets, etc.

Large and quite place, good for weekend brunch. But the portions are a bit small conpare to the price you pay.

Very chic modern. Restaurant and bar are cool. Atmosphere is a bit strange here but it's a good place to go for a date.

For 5 star, the room was quite small and the Service at Breakfast took forever. Send it and the location is great, but not really great. Parking comes with 20 EUR per night on top of it.

This is a great boutique hotel not far from the city centre — though you will need to take a taxi if you have limited mobility. The staff are always friendly. They unfortunately do not have a lot of meeting rooms if you want to host a business event, though it does provide a great location if you are looking for something a little less ordinary. Parking can be difficult as there is limited parking at the hotel and the on-street parking spaces are often full.

The best hotel in Dublin by far! Always recommend to friends and family when they go to Dublin. The cocktails are to die for had a little bit of an issue with some luggage when I last stayed and the receptionist seemed a little flustered and confused but unusual as normally its so good.

The word boutique is bandied about a fair bit, but this place lives up to the tag. The decor is. Individual. Not to my tastes, unfortunately. However, among a certain set, this is one of the top places in town. The outdoor area has low level coloured lighting and cocktails are serviced by waiters wearing black shirts and red braces. Go, if you want to date a model; if you can't afford to date a model, go elsewhere.
