I lovely hotel right on the river at Hoi An. Very modern rooms and very friendly staff. The pool was very refreshing after a hot day looking at the markets. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and if I come back to Hoi An that is the place that I will be staying.

Had a lovely 3 day stay here with my wife. Facilities are great and location is also very nice. Not right at all the tourist action but close enough to walk. Beautiful view over the river. Staff are also very friendly! Loved our stay and will be back.

Wonderful views of river, nice ambience. Great service and helpful staff. Room was beautiful, well maintained and very comfortable bed. Big bathroom clean and new bath tub. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices, lovely cafe place. Walkable to old town, they also offer bike, shuttle for free to downtown too. Small swimming pool.

Place is great for the money. Outside of the immediate Hoi An walking street. But we liked that so that we are away from the hoards of people walking around. + Breakfast + Bikes free + Beds are quite nice. We had a king river front view + AC works like a charm! + Room service is great + Airport pick up (430k one way but locals charge 250k — up to you for peace of mind) + Rooms are quite spacious.

Positives: — Best croissants and yogurt I've had made from a hotel — Walking distance to the main attractions — Staff are friendly esp the ones during the weekend shifts — Free shuttle bus to the beach (which is at 1.45pm — 5pm) — Quiet place compared to the other side of town. Relaxing it is. Negatives: — Room size was small, even though my fam asked for the junior suite. — Bathtub leaks — Weird door position. One door for 2 area in the bathroom, which is a shower place and a toilet — Staff was blur and slow for weekday shifts at the breakfast buffet.

The service here is great! The receptionists remembered our names and greeted us each time we returned to the hotel, seemingly genuinely interested in our day. The rooms are good, but perhaps a little cramped (at least in the triple room), but the breakfast buffet was wonderful!

Good location, good breakfast (although not really enough table space on one occasion). Nice enough rooms.

Unfortunately, we did not have a particularly nice stay. Rooms are more chic but very light-courteous. Overall very loud, from 7am the staff make a huge noise in the hallway with radios and loud conversations. Shying warm was a gamble, at most afternoon, morning and evening usually not. Breakfast mediocre.
The area is not really pretty and during the day the road is completely used as a bus parking lot by coaches and it is correspondingly noisy. There are also several construction sites right around the hotel.
For €60 the night that was a very bad value for money. What a pity.

Be careful while booking with Agoda this place, we arrived and hotel was overbooked, it took us another 2 h to fix everything with Agoda and at the end we finished in different place. Still the Agoda system with their system is not working well, be prepare for such attractions if booking only 1-2 days in Advance.

Good location near to the old town, large bedrooms with separate shower, bath and toilet, great breakfast and some of the most friendly and helpful staff you could hope to meet. Bikes are available too.

Great, clean and spacious room with decent aircon. The breakfast has lots of fruits, juices and anything else you might wish for in the morning. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Location is near old town, but in a quiet area.

We just spent the last 5 nights here. Great quiet location just a short 10min walk from the center of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything and even go so far to remember our names every time they saw or greeted us. Modern facilities, very clean and tidy, only downside was the internet connection often wouldn't work that well. Help with booking local tours and activities and a free gift of a silk tie for me and a hand made purse for my wife as we left. If you're planning to stay in Hoi An, I'd recommend staying here.

What an exceptional hotel this is. From the absolutely wonderful staff to the beautiful rooms. This hotel has been the best hotel that my wife and I have stayed in in Vietnam.

The staff makes a real effort to make the guests feel welcomed. The rooms are beautifully furnished with bathtub and shower as well. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were also great. The cleanliness was spotless. They have a free shuttle car to the An Bang beach twice daily and free bicycles to discover Hoi An. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food, always with different kinds of fresh fruits (dragon fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, water melon etc. ) and an omelette making station. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of pastries served at breakfast and the warm dishes. The pastries were a bit dry and the mini chocolate muffin hasn't seen chocolate, it had a tiny bit of cocoa in tops. Otherwise everything was great, even the filter coffee at breakfast.

I arrived at the hotel about 2 hours ago and I am so happy and impressed with the hotel, the view, the room and amenities, however the biggest asset this hotel has is the beautiful, warm and happy staff. They are all very proud of this hotel and yes, because I am their first guest they are being particularly attentive but you can see from how excited they are they will go beyond their role to ensure your stay will be like being part of their family. The little touches like beautiful fresh fruit and a cocktail on arrival, as well as a cool towel after your journey. As all the staff live in Hoi An, they are very knowledgable about the best (and worst) places. As there are only 45 rooms they are very hands on with their care and no detail is missed. To have someone ask what is your expectation from your stay, allows you to feel right at home very quickly. I will post another review as my stay progresses but I can assure you that once the word gets out about this hotel it will be booking out very quickly. Thank you Royal Riverside Hotel staff, there will always be a place in my heart for you all.
