If you are looking for a homestay to meet a nice family in their daily life, thats not the place to go! We stayed at this homestay during mid of may (offseason) and we actually expected being alone at a Homestay to be an advantage to have more contact with the family, but the contact (and in fact the family at all) was not existent. But this homestay is rather a very impersonal holiday resort (more than 25 beds) and the owner only seem to be interested in making more money. We wanted to stay 3 nights but as nobody cared for us we checked out after 1 night. During these 20hours we stayed at the homestay we have met the owners wife twice in the city and haven't seen her at all at her 'home' and the owner only 30seconds (trying to convince us for their boat tour)! he owners seem to live in the city and only care about getting you to their Homestay and selling you their boat tour. The included breakfast was a baguette, one egg, jam and tea. The 25 existing 'free bikes' are all completely wrecked (as we were alone we could have a look at all of them), so we didn't dare taking them out on the small streets of the island. When we returned them, staff just laughed at us. We were expecting a great Homestay as described by other guests, but the staff which basically ignored our presence didn't care that we were there, and didn't tell us what we could visit (ok, they recommended us their boat tour).
Nice home stay on the island… we stayed three nights and each of the included dinners were amazing and plentiful…
