Friendly people, nice way to get a little closer to the Delta. We stayed overnight as part of a tour. The 'Homestay' name is more of a style where rooms are more traditional, with fans and mosquito nets and food is locally sourced. Dinner was a multi-course extravaganza, the cooking class was a bit of fun and they have a really convenient, reasonably priced bar arrangement, just write down and pay what you drink. It's also right next to the hammocks which suit the climate perfectly. Breakfast was a little simpler but adequate. Depending on the time of year it may be worth bringing earplugs for a good sleep as the cicadas were pretty noisy at one point, but that is all part of experiencing what life on the river is like. Both French and English speaking staff were available when we were there.
An interesting concept of styling a small hotel around a traditional Vietnamese home stead. Situated in a good location providing accommodation, food, lunch for tours along the Mekong delta and the ability to take a bike along the river path. The food provided was good but, while it was explained that I was allergic to prawns/shrimps etc, both the soup and the spring rolls contained them (obvious in the soup but we only found out they were in the rolls when eating them). We didn't stay at the location but the rooms seamed pleasant if appearing to lack air conditioning.
