Visited yesterday for coffee and scones and the scones were the best I've ever tasted especially the cheese with chilli jam.

We met some friends at the hotel last night who were staying there. We had a meal in your beautiful restaurant. The food was superb and the service was brilliant. The staff were very attentive, friendly and provided excellent service. The decor in the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and so different. We absolutely loved it and will certainly be back. Thank you.

Thank you to the staff for creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel deco is quirky and was really festive with the Christmas lights. The food was lovely for both our evening meal and cooked breakfast. Good range to choose from re both menus. I fully recommend a visit here.

The loft room was quirky and roomy. Staff were helpful and friendly and went the extra mile. Room service was efficient. Evening meal was average and the music throughout the hotel could have been better. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Booked as a last minute treat & what a treat it was, the hotel and decor blew my mind away, every room has a different theme and is super impressive. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade and the lovely Sally offered us a choice of suites, we choose the Saltburn Suite … wowsers. We dined in the hotel and Shaun couldn’t do enough for us, the food is as impressive as the hotel, so much so we decided to stay an extra night. Upon departure we bumped into the owner who had me intrigued from the moment we walked in the hotel… she didn’t disappoint either… the eccentric gypsy woman I’d imaged in my head … was just that but with a lot more sass… cannot wait to revisit this beautiful boutique hotel.

Just had the most amazing 7 course tasting menu at Brockley Hall Hotel. Taste was amazing presentation was beautiful, inventive and amusing and the service was high end yet personal. Thoroughly recommend this place. Its the sort of food and service that makes you a bit giddy.

The best ever place to go absolutely gorgeous from the food to the boutique style of the place to the absolutely friendly and professional staff and the chefs that make the food and for all that perfection the prices are well worth it in fact they are a bargin I wouldn't eat anywhere else now xxx.

Recently held my mums ninetieth birthday lunch here. There was over thirty of us. The staff were so accommodating and friendly nothing was to much trouble. Made mums day with a glass of bubbly and a beautiful iced plate wishing her happy birthday. Thank you.

Just back from a lovely stay here. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful food and the staff are all very attentive. We arrived back very late one night (gone midnight) which was absolutely no problem. I am hoping to come back.

We absolutely loved our room it was so comfortable and the decor was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic to could not fault it at all. All staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We did have a booking January for my partners birthday but we had to come home early as our daughter was unwell ☹️. As we didn’t stay they allowed us to rearrange our night so we could stay and get the experience hence our stay last night. Not a lot of places do this which was lovely so highly recommend.

Brockley Hall great staff very ifficient fantastic food and great surroundings staff very pleasant and make you welcome getting married at Brockley Hall next august.

Wow what a lovely place was blown away from the smart medieval look it presented upon entry there are dragons on the walls and tables made out of airplane parts went and sat in the garden and again it was well set out and very comfortable.

As soon as we arrived, the service was brilliant and all staff were very attentive. The food was absolutely gorgeous and selection of gin is fantastic! I received a free dessert for graduating which was a lovely gesture, would definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone for a good value for money for the quality of food and service.

We visited for Afternoon Tea which was excellent. Very well presented with plenty of tea and coffee. The staff were all very polite and friendly.

A lovely place to spend a weekend. Carefully renovated hotel with some interesting and quirky touches, classy dining rooms and a great garden to enjoy a meal or a drink. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room to room calling would be a help though. Breakfast (included in B and B package) ) was a treat — — lots of choices on menu.

Great, nicely situated, hotel — tastefully renovated two years ago. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and quiet. Off street car parking at rear. Large, nicely decorated dining room. Very large beer garden. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of hot dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Wheelchair accessible including lift. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and closeness to the centre of town.

Took my mam here for her birthday and had the 7 course fine dining menu. There is no words to describe this amazing food, you have to try it to believe it. Totally worth every penny. Staff were 5 star friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a look around some of the rooms and every room tells a different story! Can’t wait to be back!

An eclectic and enchanting place, Brockley Hall is inviting and welcoming. A former Methodist hotel, this double-fronted building faces the Valley Gardens on the clifftop. There are gypsy caravans available for hire in the grounds. The reception is a silver pod, there is a bear in the porch. The decor is beautiful, old metal tiles on the ceilings, ornate stencilling on some walls. The dining room is plush and high end. The front sitting room is filled with large grey wingback armchairs. The smaller room we occupied was delightful, modern mixed with old with a lovely fireplace. It led into a large conservatory which had a light airy feel with a touch of the far east in the decor. I especially liked the lighting, beads and shells with grey organza that reflected the seaside setting. The original staircase is stunning. The staff are friendly and the finger buffet we were offered was delicious. Outside there is a gravel path, a dry fountain and pretty landscaping.

We have had our wedding meal here this afternoon for a group of 45+ people. What a very special place. The setting is stunning, the food was delicious and the staff were amazing. From meeting with Sally initially to discuss our plans to leaving this afternoon the whole experience has been faultless. Nothing has been too much trouble and they have bent over backwards to the very end. Lots of great comments from guests on the hotel, it’s decor and the food with lots saying they will return soon themselves. Thankyou so much to Sally and her team for helping to make our wedding day such a special one.

Well what can I say about our stay it was gorgeous stayed in huntcliff room so pretty and quirky with a bathroom to die for. The evening meal and breakfast we were well looked after and staff were excellent most friendly and professionable I would definately recommend to friends and family thanks for a lovely and memorable stay by the way gotta love the kitchen staff mad as hatters haha xxx.

Restaurant closed by 9.30. As this is one of the supposed attractions of this boutique hotel should make it clear don't expect to eat late. Staff suggestions for where to eat — Chinese take away. No.

Me and my wife stayed here last night and the staff were really good lovely hotel and food was gorgeous my only fault was whoever had room before us broke the bed and it had not been been replaced and the bottom of the bed was sunken and we both hardly slept all night and when I reported it the lady just said sorry I just think she could of done a bit more otherwise I would of given 5 stars.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel in Saltburn. Has definitely become the best hotel in town. Brilliant service and food for the busy New Year's Eve celebrations. Love the quirky decor!

Service inflexible. Food stale and low quality compared to cheaper alternatives. If you enjoy Betty's Tea rooms this will leave you disappointed.

Amazing Christmas celebrations at Brockley Hall Hotel.
The Santa experience was fabulous and so much thought and effort had been put into the afternoon.
We indulged in a festive afternoon tea which was delicious as always.
And to top off the Christmas festivities we had the Christmas Do there. The tasting menu continues to impress and was delicious.
The staff are always friendly and very helpful.

I was greeted by some sweaty nerd on a PC playing Esea all day. He had a plate of broccoli which had been sat there for 5 months. I told him to eat it but he completely ignored me. So weird.

Comfortable hotel with good sized, clean rooms and good service. Very convenient for walkers who like us are walking the Cleveland Way.

Had the 7 course menu which was amazingly delicious. Superb setting with lovely service. If you wish to treat someone special bring them here! Hubby and I both agreed we will be back again, lemon posset… yum!

I would go to 10 stars if I could. Hotel and staff are outstanding. We had an amazing time. We visited last weekend for a family wedding and we definitely chose the right hotel. We were welcomed at the door and shown to a fantastic room. The room was well presented and had the most fantastic free standing bath. The breakfast was lovely and there was a wide selection, something for all tastes. I could spend hours praising the hotel. But to summarise it was outstanding and we will be back to visit my family again soon and this is the only hotel we will choose. We had friends who stayed at the spa hotel and done nothing but complain the entire time. Kind of says it all. Choose this hotel.

We lunched here and can thoroughly recommend it, the food was very good and the staff professional and friendly. I had their take on a Nicoise salad followed by Coley, both were very good, an accompanying glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was good and moderately priced. The dining room decor is a bit busy but pleasant enough.

Just spent a couple of nights at Brockley Hall for a family celebration. I think this is one of the best hotels I have been too. The staff were exceptional and did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one. We had a standard room on the first night and it was nicely decorated. On the second night we were moved to one of the special rooms with an ornate roll top bath and large bed. Some of our relatives bagged the rooms at the front with great views. I would recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure.

Taken here as a birthday treat from my husband. Beautiful hotel, the 'Whitby' room which we stayed in was beautiful, food was excellent and staff were very friendly and nothing was a trouble. Safe to say we will be back.
