4 of our group of 6 ordered steaks from rare to medium rare. Every one of the steaks was well done. Service was slow also. Wouldn't recommend.

Gorgeous hotel with excellent services and very helpful and friendly staff.

I stayed here 8th — 10th October, this was the second time I’d been here. On both occasions it has been for work. It’s location is central which makes it a great base for traveling about. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable and cleaned to a high standard, as was all areas of the hotel. Breakfast is amazing, a good selection it really sets you up for the day. We ate in the hotel in the evening too and the food was fabulous and a reasonable price. As for the staff, their just great! The manager is so hands on and nothing is a bother to this lovely lady, she made my colleague and I fell very welcome. The rest of the team are a credit to her. I would certainly be staying here again if I get the opertunity.

The staff are really nice, the downstairs area is also really nice however the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp. The bathroom was really nice which has been recently revamped. The walls are pretty thin so take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I would come back again as the location is great and as I mentioned the staff are really nice.

Clean and comfortable, with pleasant staff, although the decor and feel of the bedrooms is somewhat tired and dated, particularly for the price.

Have stayed here before, as it is ideally located, being only 2 minutes walk from my company's office in Lerwick. The beds are comfortable, the rooms pleasantly laid out, and the continental and full Scottish breakfasts set you up for the day. The staff cannot do enough for you, with a warm welcome and willing to help you with the slightest thing. All in all, an ideal place to stay if you're either working in the area, or using it as a base to explore the island.

This a quality hotel. Typical European decor and facilities but over nice stay considering your geographical location.
