Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is worth staying for, great choice and quality ingredients. My room was spacious with a huge bed. Good hostess tray and nice toiletries. Bottles of water were also provided. It was only the badly cracked sink that prevented me from awarding 5 stars.

Nice hotel, dinner was OK, but could have been better presented. Staff are all very friendly, which makes it a lot more pleasant to stay. Great pool.

Really nice looking hotel. Executive room was nice but couldn't get the heater to come on. Al La Carte food was extremely good, but a little limited on main and dessert choices. Breakfast was very good indeed. Great deal of choice if you just wanted continental and cooked option was delicious. Very nearly a 5 star experience but for the areas already mentioned.

Terrible location, right next to oil refinery. Mediocre food. Pleasant staff though.

Very nice Hotel. Great service, and the people very friendly and friendly, and attentive. The décor is classic British, and it smells a bit like aged and closed wood. But it enters the environment. As a curious data, the room has no furniture-bar, has furniture-tea, and the hairdryer is in a drawer of the room dresser.
The restaurant is decorated with cows theme, I loved it. And great service. I recommend the shepherd's pie, a casserole of minced meat with mashed potatoes to warm up and replenish strength. Great! And, of all, Scotch in the bar.
Beautiful scenery, crows and snow. For me, I couldn't ask for more! I wish to return ASAP!

Arrived to find that our booking had not been made correctly. Reception staff were not friendly or apologetic, they just blamed the girl that was not there. The 55 min massage was fantastic and both spa girls were friendly and polite and although we booked it we were lucky enough to get side by side room. On departure the receptionist did not enquire about or visit or even say thank u or goodbye. Not encouraging for a return visit.

Don't buy anyone a spa voucher for this place… literally shambolic service. Spent 6 months trying to get an appointment to then have a treatment done that I literally could have done better myself with no training. I had to tell the person that bought me the voucher so that they would NEVER waste money like this again. The person that done my treatment was polite and friendly however if I had paid £60 for what I got I would've been back and asking to speak to the manager. My treatment was cancelled with a couple of hours notice (I presume as I was a voucher customer and they already had the money) The treatment outcome was very poor. I was so underwhelmed and upset that a friend had bought me a voucher (to give me some downtime) which then brung me nothing but stress and hassle. A real disappointment. This hotel and Spa was decent a few years back… but now, it's just an outdated, overpriced, poorly managed hotel and "spa". Just take some time and look at the spa prices, and then take your friend for a massage, pedicure and manicure somewhere decent and grab some lunch. You'll still get it cheaper than your voucher and at least u wont be disappointed.

Hotel located close to the outskirts of Polmont very quiet and cosy. Its facilities are not the most modern, but it is quite well preserved and the value for money is optimal. Nuestea Room was huge with private bathroom. The bathroom with tub is a plus to keep in mind. The food in the hotel restaurant is tasty and the value for money is fair and no more expensive than any other restaurant in the vicinity. The shepherd pie is a delight that you should try if you are going to eat or dine at the restaurant. The service of the hotel is very friendly and polite.

Nice hotel. Was here for a wedding and stayed the night after. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Good place, could be improved still a little. Location is far from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Good stay as per usual, the lady who was in charge of the restaurant last night was as usual fantastic she always is so polite, helpful two weeks on the bounce she has been great. I was locked out of my room with a jammed lock and she solved the problem. She is a great asset to the hotel.

This is a fantastic little gym, with short 20m pool, sauna, steam room and soon to be a fitness suite. It can be busy at the weekend with stay over business customer and spa weekenders, but during the week it is so quiet. Steak house on site aswell.

Excellent hotel. Function suite was a bit crammed for the event I attended, resulting in relatively slow service. Prices are quite high, but for a high end hotel it's to be expected. Gym is good, recently refurbished although will benefit from a dedicated area for gym classes in future.

Booked a very last minute spa night. Got a lovely back massage, used pool etc. Used the bar at night and had couple of cocktails which were really good and normal prices. Breakfast next day was great. Paid £5 tray charge to have in room and was worth it. Got free late check out till 12 which was fab.

Rooms are tired, had to be moved after been given a twin room when double booked, second room bath taps didn't work. Booked breakfast room service (extra £5 cost) and some ingredients missing. We attended Xmas party night, entertainment was excellent but let down by the meal. Vegetables not cooked, the parsnips were raw. Last year the party was all brilliant so we decided to go again this year, next year I will have to go elsewhere.

We were guests at a wedding reception and they were late with setting the tables, got the names wrong and the bar prices are over inflated for cheap drink you can buy in bulk from the lesser supermarkets. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.

We went to a wedding event at the Inchyra, the location is easy to get to with ample parking. The decor itself is slightly outdated and could do with a refresh but there is plenty of space for a large event. We had external catering and event management but the coordination between the hotel and event company can be better.

Warm atmosphere and good attention. He's a little retired.

Great stay at hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Comfortable room. Dinner was great. Breakfast could have been better. Felt the bacon and potato bread wasn't as fresh as it should have been eggs and black pudding were great as was the fruit salad. Toast not good It didn't deter our visit one bit Great swim spa treatment was fantastic The welcome I got as the birthday girl! Was overwhelming. Thank you all the staff.

Went in for a birthday lunch. Lovely place, food was great, staff were very friendly, but the portion size wasn't great. £17 steak, a tiny wee cup of chips and a few green bits as a salad. Left feeling a bit disappointed.

Place was brilliant. Clean. Tidy. Staff were helpful. We only had food from lunch time snack menu but had zero complaints. The ideal place for a weekend away to unwind and recharge.

My wife is hosting an event in the Wallace and Bruce suites. They are quite versatile in that they can be split to accommodate your needs, toilets, bar areas and kitchens are available. Plus ample parking around the building.

Had a good stay here. Rooms are spacious and food is good. Maybe a bit pricey though for the food. Would stay again though.

Lovely hotel! Friendly, polite staff and helpful. Restaurant passable. Older building with fine quality upgrades. We were situated on the second floor above the main entrance and at times it was quite noisy. E. M. Can.

This is a really nice hotel for the price room was big and spacious. Bed comfy with a contemporary bathroom. Bar was well stocked and well priced. Never got a chance to use the spa as it was a flying visit.

Nice rooms. Excellent service. Spa was lovely. Some of the food at the restaurant was overpriced for the portions but otherwise very tasty.

Attended a wedding in the events suite. Idelic location and good service.

The gym and spa facilities are great, parking is good and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Attended a friends anniversary party. Great bar service, excellent choice available, tremendous buffet and an all round superb venue.

Excellent hotel with good function rooms for weddings. The gym and pool are very good if a bit on the small side. My wife had her nails done here and she thought it was very good.

Very lovely hotel. The staff were brilliant, the room was lovely, clean, well-made and very useful. The area isn't the nicest area ever, but the hotel itself is very nice. The grounds are lovely as well. Recommended if you are in the area, a MacDonald hotel is always somewhere to stay.

Lovely hotel and spa. Good conference facilities, friendly staff, and gives the impression of being in the countryside, despite Grangemouth's massive refineries being just round the corner.

Lovely hotel on the outside but that's about it! Smelly room with a sodden wet carpet so they put towels down! We got a free drink! Over priced food and drink and cold breakfast in morning! Fair to say we won't be back ever again!

My wife got a voucher for her 30th birthday to have a spa day. She took me with her which was the second best decision she has made in her time. We had afternoon tea and the use of all the facilities, everything from start to end was excellent and the staff were very very friendly and helpful. My favourite experience was the 30 mins before and after the treatment in th tranquillity room. You can zone out and relax without any disturbances. Would highly recommend a spa day.

Was a member of the gym for a year have cancelled for a number of reasons 1st gym is to small you are always waiting for equipment 2nd changing rooms are tiny every time you are getting changed you are faced with a full moon inches from your face 3rd weekends are a no go as gym and pool is full of spa day people which is annoying when a membership is north of £600 a year and 4th when using the gym don't expect any help or advice from the gym staff, they spend the day at the reception desk talking. Pool area is nice though.

Service from desk staff and management a complete joke. Booked for an ultimate spa break, including an overnight stay and afternoon tea on arrival. Was told we weren't entitled to afternoon tea and that it was Wahanda (the booking agent's fault) The advert clearly displayed afternoon tea but our appeals fell on deaf ears. Still waiting, 4 weeks later on for a refund. Restaurant staff and meals fabulous which is why it has merited 2 stars from me but otherwise, will not be back.

Disappointed When booking in we were asked if we would like breakfast yes we agreed to that Went down for breakfast and were told we must pay upfront had to return to our room to get cash very embarrassing why was this not dealt with at the reception when we booked. Asked if we would like a newspaper ordered a newspaper still waiting for it. No robes or slippers in our room but we were greeted with the previous guests swimwear on the bathroom floor Didn't get the chance to report these things when booking out as we were hastily told we had nothing to pay and never asked had everything been OK with our stay Breakfast is well overpriced — orange juice swimming over buffet never cleared tomato juice obviously put in jug the night before and covered with film had an inch of dried juice around the top of jug have to say at least the waiting staff did enquire if the food was alright Pity because I believe other people have had good experiences.

This is the waste hotel. Ilive on my life. The room is not clean. The staff is very rude and manager. Dont come.

Stayed here for a night, after booking the spa break. We turned up before check in on the off chance and the room was available so we were able to access the room an hour early. Staff were lovely and friendly, couldn't have been more helpful. We went for our massages that we'd booked in for. Incredible. The relaxation room was wonderful, I could've stayed there all day. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately I cannot deny the experience of "begbie". At breakfest you hadn´t got toast and butter for a second time — we don´t speak about any luxury food! The service was organised very bad! I hadn´t this experience in any 4-star-hotel before.
