It has been a wonderful experience, very friendly and welcoming and we have enjoyed staying there. Biker hotel for the bikers what more can we ask for 👍 from us deaf riders x.

Had a lovely meal there last week when on holiday. Brilliant service and loved all the Motorbike chat with the guys. Will definitely be back.

We have left this wonderful place this morning, Dave and his family / team have looked after us like Royalty. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we have loved our two nights with them. The food was amazing the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. But above everything else the Buccleuch Team are fabulous, a very special place. Thank you for taking care of us. This place is a absolute blessing! The family who run the hotel are amazing an so welcoming. The facilities an rooms are exceptional! The food, beer and wine along with anything else you could want from the bar is superb! Restaurant standard meals an as much breakfast as you can eat! freshly made pack ups for the your day out riding is just a great touch! Moffat it self offers superb amenities and lots of pubs to have a nice change if you wish! Me my dad an brother an a handful of great friends stay here every year an have done for the last 15 / 18 years! EPIC! 10 OUT OF 10! THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF LAST WEEK! WE ALL HAD A AMAZING TIME! Fantastic place. Atmosphere, accommodation and food are all excellent!

Excellent service throughout our recent stay in May. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. They organised a van to pick up one of our group who's motorcycle had broken down and arrived within half an hour, the RAC had estimated 4 hours. Highly recommended and will be going again.

This was our third visit to this fantastic hotel. We arrived on the first day of enhanced Covid restrictions in Scotland which includes no drinking inside.
Dave the owner explained everything they had done to protect guests (very impressive) including one of these special sanitising spray machines and importantly closing the hotel to non residents.
My wife and I were looked after so well by Dave and his hard working family. They are great people who go the extra mile to ensure guests are happy.
The day after the government in door restrictions they erected an outdoor covered and heated area to enjoy a drink in, it worked great.
Meals there are fabulous and the breakfast probably the best I've had. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We travelled up from Cheshire and we stayed in this lovely hotel. They had our room done and cleaned early for us so we could get ready for a wedding we were attending. Lovely staff and a lovely breakfast. Staff made us feel so welcome. Staff are very friendly and nothing v was too much trouble for them. Will definitely stay here again.

Just stayed for two night's whilst touring the borders on the bikes, excellently organised for the bikes, staff very accommodating, excellent breakfasts and evening meals and Dave ready to help with any issues or routes, well worth a visit.

Fantastic B&B in the heart of Moffat. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff; we met the owner, Dave, who clearly loves his work and riding bikes! Definitely the perfect place for any biker out there!
We stayed on the third floor in a lovely cosy room, but just to note, there's no lift in the building, but there is the offer of help with luggage Spot on!
The food here is lovely, I would definitely recommend eating here. The Smokies are wonderfully tasty.

Been here twice to eat while passing through. On both occasions staff have been very helpful and friendly. Food is very good and they have a good variety to choose from.

Just back from 3 day break with wife and dog TIA everything about this place is perfect so dog friendly food is so good staff best there is and the owners they cant do enough for you its well worth a visit.

Love the food here! Eaten in the restaurant twice on our visit this week, but we come along atleast once every time we visit. Always recommend the Steak and Ale pies — great portion size and particularly yummy. Today I had something a little different as they don't serve those on Sunday due to carvery. Triple chicken burger with Peri Peri sauce. Very nice :) For dessert I had the golden syrup sponge. Very sweet but still delicious. Maybe a scrimp more custard would be good :)

One of the best pies I've ever had — fantastic. I asked for mash with mine instead of chips and some peas. The IPA beer was also fantastic. The young girls serving were all very attentive and professional.

Wow, just a great experience, don't expect luxury cos this isn't it, but, the whole experience makes you feel looked after. Dave, the owner takes time to greet you and will even put your bike in the locked garage for you, there are so many unexpected little additions that no other hotel offers for bikers. If you are on your way to the Highlands for a biking holiday the Buccleuch arms is a must, Dave will give you advice on routes and even plumb them into your sat nav for you Can't recommend this place highly enough, it's a real gem Just thank you Dave for creating your hotel with all the extras you do.

Great place to stay. I go with a group of advanced motorcycling friends each year. Good food, great hosts, garages for bikes and lots of help with riding routes.

Great place to stay, dine and drink. Hotel for bikers run by bikers. Room was very nice, staff is very friendly, food was great, whisky was sublime. The owner will even program your Garmin while you have breakfast and knows the best routes around. I will definitely be going back. All the area around Moffat is great and this is the best hub. Thanks for a great experience!

Saturday lunch. Quite quiet despite being busy outside. Nice décor and good service. Had steak pie and it was slightly odd as pastry quite hard (suet? ) and not much meat with veg mixed in amongst the steak. Everyone else enjoyed their food.

Late May bank holiday Saturday. Booked a table for 7:45pm as I was up visiting family. Chosen due to good online reviews. It was a tad busy when we arrived but we were shown to a table of five upstairs in what is a nice setting overlooking the Main Street.
There were two large parties in the same room which made it a bit noisy. But heyho folks are only enjoying themselves I suppose. Not the hotels fault but does make a family catch up difficult.
It was explained to us that due to them being busy service was a bit slow… Fair enough under the circumstances.
Food was great, well presented, tasty and reasonably priced.
One of our party is vegetarian and I think the menu catered well for lifestyle preferences.
All in all an enjoyable meal with relaxed service.
Would certainly return, perhaps earlier and maybe not on a bank holiday.

The best biker friendly hotel in the world. In the centre of some of the world's greatest roads and scenery. Really good rooms, great food and menu. And the guys running it are so helpful, providing maps and tips and even programming the sat nav for us to avoid roads with potholes etc. Can't recommend higher to anyone with a bike.

We have just had a fantastic family lunch. The food was excellent and staff were even better. They were so helpful and lovely to both our young baby and dog. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for my brothers wedding staff were amazing let us into our room early so we could get changed and we weren't sure how to fix my sons kilt and staff member stepped in and sorted him out. Breakfast was beautiful staff on the ball making sure we had fresh tea & coffee and toast then we got home all the way to Glasgow to realise we left my sons iPad and staff had it locked away for us to come collect at anytime. Can't fault this place would recommend it from arrival till leaving 100 % in their customer service. Thanks again.

Family lunch at The Buccleuch Arms. Great staff & service. Great choice on the menu & delicious food. Recommend the build your own burger & steak pie.

Stopped of here for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Steak pie was to die for portions were huge. Only improvement would be the size of plate food was served on as the content of the plate was too much for the plate to cope with.

I have never been to the hotel to stay but have eaten there quite often it has a good mixed menu reasonably priced fish and chips are one there specials very good.

Dogs allowed friendly staff food very good value will return.

Great wee place. We stayed there for new year and it was brilliant. Staff were so friendly and accommodating (we had large party with young kids and the staff helped out a great deal) food was amazing and great prices at the bar.

My favourite place to visit with friends, partners or family, for a lovely coffee, hot chocolate and shortbread, or a sandwich and a beer or a glass of wine. Book your table for an evening meal, in the bar or the dining room. The food is always hot and fresh and served with a smile… A great atmosphere in lovely surroundings, especially in winter when the fire is alight and warm! Always a wonderful selection of food on the menu, fantastic friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. In the downstairs bar you can sit and listen to Jazz or perhaps to a live band… and sit and enjoy your drink in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

A very robust lunch with my dad in 5he beef tub grill — his stovies were hearty, while my burger was meaty but juicy. Good value and well cooked, with lovely staff.

We had Sunday roast yesterday, 22 Oct, and it was also my grandaughters 9th birthday, This old coaching inn is spotlessly clean, very welcoming and the food is excellent. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient especially John and his lady colleague whose name we didn't catch. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

A day out with family we decided to stop in at the Buccleuch for a bite to eat. There's a good selection on the menu but the burgers appear to be a bit of a specialty and rightly so because they are really good. Three of the party ordered burgers whilst the fourth opted for the steak pie. All the burgers were delicious served on a really nice brioche style bun with chips. The steak pie was a proper pie with puff pastry and loads of meat. All in all a fantastic meal and good value for money. Will definitely be back.

The general aspect of the hotel, is fine. Price for your room is beyond its worth, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Will I be back? I doubt it.

Fab food and atmosphere, staff were lovely and helpful. Good vegan options available. Will be back, hopefully for an overnight stay next time.

Had tea here. Varied menu. Quick services. Very tasty food. Well worth a visit if you are in Moffat.

Absolutely brilliant place with incredible food. Menu is outstanding with lots of choice for all tastes and budgets. I highly recommend creating your own burger dish! The decor in the eating area is lovely, all old Moffat related… you could spend an hour just exploring the pictures! Not a biker myself but noticed it's a very biker friendly place with biker area out back for keeping bikes safe etc.

Few drinks in the bar, quickly served even though busy. Will come back if in the area again.

Steak dinner absolutely delicious. I'd travel the distance to Moffat just for that.

Worst meal me and my wife and mother inlaw have ever had scampi over cooked steak dry and tagliatelle in what was suppose to be a cream sauce very dry to get service had to go into desk in hall no one asks if required a sweet or could be bothered to smile when made payment not worth a visit.

Good menu in tastefully decorated surroundings celebrating the heritage of Moffat. Worth a visit if looking for somewhere to eat in this popular town.
