So cozy and comfortable. Great food!

Not stayed in a room here but husband and I had a meal in the restaurant and would say it’s one of the best meals we have ever had. Staff were all very welcoming and service was great. Now we’ve found it we’d definitely book a room here when next visiting Aberdeen.

Nice quiet room and excellent food downstairs. Very pleasant.

We booked mariner for a family party. The service was brilliant, and food was excellent. Would highly recommend the mariner hotel, every one who was there commented on how great the evening was.

Can not recommended enough. Our little family was put in a huge room with all facilities we needed for 17 month old. So clean and spacious. The staff where so friendly. Breakfast amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

The mariner hotel is a lovely place to stay. Was only there for one night but the welcome was very warm. The Columba's suite I was in was beautiful and big. Breakfast was freshly cooked when you ordered and was so good. I will definitely be back Thank you too all staff.

The Carvary on a Sunday is absolutely gorgeous with a choice of three meats carved by the chef and then a choice of vegetables which varies from week to week. Roast potatoes are always there with mashed carrots, swede, red cabbage, skirlie and gravy. Fab!

Have stayed a few times therefore I find it it very satisfactory. My only gripe is it could maybe do with an update to the decor… very 90's.

If fish is your thing the place is one to visit with some rather nice local ale on tap also. The fresh fish is very good and the selection very nice with bar restaurant and in the other side a large restaurant for more formal dinning. Staff are always very polite and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

Good value for money but breakfast was very poor.

The food was good but a tad expensive. Nice service but forgot my chips.

Good hotel with nice rooms. Fairly nice staff. I personally didn't really enjoy the food (but then, that is my personal opinion and I don't really like seafood! ) All in all, 4 stars.

Second visit to this Lovely hotel within reach of the city centre, hotel is well organised with lovely rooms, we stayed in a split level suite and was able to invite our family over for dinner. The food was of a high standard and delicious. The staff were so helpful, kind and considerate. We would highly recommend a stay.

Only came for dinner but everything was delicious and super fresh. Oysters, calamari, scallops and even the fish and chips were fantastic. Couldn’t decide on the entree so I was offered a half-portion if scallops and fish and chips — perfect solution!

The service is superb by friendly staff. Food is of the highest order. Probably the best restaurant in aberdeen.

Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. Room was comfortable and clean and had a nice outlook (however the decor was slightly dated) with my only complaint being the very creaky floorboards making it a bit noisy! We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast both mornings — food was very good and service was excellent too. I would recommend the hotel to others however I probably won't stay there again as they do not allow dogs and I like to take mine with me! I didn't really see why well behaved dogs couldn't be allowed but that is the hotel's policy so fair enough!

Sumptuously luxurious, affordable prices, fabby breakfast.

We love to come here for Sunday roast. Reasonable price and good carvery dinner (actually during lunch time), conservative sitting area is bright and lovely. Always half of restaurant is full on Sunday, if you come with group, reservation would be a good idea.

Love this place and visit when we can.

Fantastic traditional hotel in Aberdeen's West end. Great restaurant and bar and the staff are lovely. Food was great. If you like seafood you must visit.

The hotel was fancier than I was expecting from the price, the room was great. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were really friendly.

Rooms are a good size and comfortable. Food is very good, excellent breakfast. Used a few times and will use again, often the cheapest hotel available and well worth it.

We have just had a lovely two night stay and will, without a doubt be visiting again! Our family room was lovely and spacious, accommodating our family of five perfectly — our three wee boys loved the triple bunk! The staff were absolutely fantastic and looked after us all very well. We ate both nights in the Atlantis restaurant; the food was delicious, very reasonably priced and the atmosphere friendly — we thought, why go anywhere else?!?
We were barely out of the city boundary when a wee voice from the back of the car said, "I wanted to stay at the hotel longer. "
We all did lad! Thank you for having us, we'll be back.

Really enjoy eating here when in Aberdeen, food is really good value and tasty, staff are friendly, polite and welcoming.
Only complaint, and its not only the Mariner, but its dearer to buy a pint of non alcoholic beer (Becks blue) than a pint of alcohol.

They do great food that is exciting but still manages to cater to all taste buds. The service is always excellent.

I enjoyed a well cooked steak, service was excellent and ambiance was nice.

Food is spot on. Atmosphere nice and secluded.

A friendly hotel bar with good food.

Myself and 3 colleagues had course to stay at the hotel from 11th Jan to 16th jan, I would just like to say that our stay couldn't have been any better than it was. Rooms spotless, food excellent (Steaks a bit pricey) but the menu had a good selection and a very good specials board. I have to say that whilst all of the above made our stay perfect, the staff throughout the hotel from the top man to the lowest level were absolutely fabulous, making sure we were ok at all times and showing politeness that we have never had before and believe me I have stayed in many hotels over the past 15 years and this surpasses them all. in closing I would just like to say a massive thanks to you all. Cheers.
