Lovely place excellent reception lovely food.

Lovely hotel with fabulous surrounding. Easy access in to Aberdeen a S surrounding area.

Had a fab stay. Lovely staff.

Arrived at hotel, staff friendly and welcoming. Didn’t c a concierge. Room was nice. And looked clean at first, although carpet left a bit to be desired. Was 3 adults and a child. So was advised to book a suite so there would b room for a fold down bed. Which we did. Beds where made up and the fold down right in the middle of the room, so we had no room to move, and one chair to sit between 4 of us. Sofa and roll down both fold easily even when made up. So we put them away until needed. Started to unpack and put the kettle on. Realised then we only had 2 cups, and 4 small containers of milk. Essentially enough for 1 coffee. I Went in wardrobe only 1 bathrobe and slippers. Room booked for 4, beds made up for 4. So why not room prepped for 4.
Start to put things away. Bedside drawer still had biscuits/cake crumbs in it. Moved bedside cabinet to get a plug, the dust and dirt was an inch thick and even had 2 hair clasps almost buried in it. How that could be missed I’ll never know. Area around sink in corner was dusty and mouldy looking. And the hand soap container, was grimy and very sticky, disgusting to press when u want to wash hands. I asked someone to come up, and see. He Seemed a bit condescending at first. I spoke about cups and bathrobes first, and he looked at me, then said. So you want more cups? I was like yes of course. And bathrobes and slippers. I’m not walking on that carpet in my bare feet, but I’m not finished. Would u like to come and check this.

We're staying in the platinum suit at Double tree. The room is fab very clean and spacious! There was chocs mints with a lovely note from housekeeper wishing us a comfortable stay… meals are Home made. Great breakfast. Also there a gym and excerise room to help to burn off your calories.

Excellent hotel I would recommend to everyone both for the kindness of the staff, for the rooms nice and clean and for the restaurant where dinner and breakfast are just super.

Great property I was there only one night… In the price I was not given breakfast… it was apart is you were paying more than. 14. I wonder why to pay so expensive a breakfast with a croissant and an espresso… who don't even know how to do.

Amazing staff. Warm welcome. The gym was not functional. Most of the equipment had stickers saying "Do not use, service pending". Overall nice hotel. No other complaints.

I stayed in this hotel on the 24th and 25th of August. I stay in Hilton all around the world and it's usually a trusted brand. However I was extremely dissapointed with the state of this hotel. Postives: polite and helpful hotel staff. Negatives: Rooms. The classic rooms are of an extremely poor quality and well below the standards of the Hilton brand. Specifics — small room, faulty ventilation system, no window to allow natural air or light. Bath looked very worn out. For the same price one can stay in far better comfort.

Only leave 1* because I can’t leave 0*. Booked hotel in Feb along with Little mix tickets as a birthday surprise to my daughter.
Arrived at hotel to get ready & have some snacks before heading out to be told they had bumped us out, they had no other hotel room for us.
Eventually told to go to Residence Inn by Marriot, I asked if there was hotel parking as we wouldn’t have a lot of time & I was told yes. I was given the wrong directions to find it. After 40 minutes driving in circles & taking to the police we were told there was no parking at the hotel.
We eventually found parking & ran to the hotel, we had little choice but to order a taxi to the concert as we didn’t have time to go back to the car & get ready.
Due to the fact we didnt have the car we were stuck at AECC with no way home in pouring rain. My 9 year old daughter spent 1 hour 45 minutes in tears in the rain panicking about how we would get back. It all boils down to Hilton chucking us out, otherwise my car would have been out the hotel door & we would have been back safely. To make matters worse I have just been told they are not footing the bill for our stay in the marriot. Absolutely disgusted & outraged. You have ruined my daughters birthday treat & it won’t be forgotten.

Nice hotel with good facilities and nice distance from city cente. The room itself was very spacious and the main bed was very large and comfortable. Unfortunately the pull-out sofa bed was dreadfully uncomfortable, which ruined the stay for me. I woke up in the middle of the night and my side had gone numb from the framework you could feel through the bed. I tried to get back to sleep for two hours before going to try to sleep in my car instead.

Had a lovely stay, the sea views are outstanding. Breakfast is excellent and by one the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The beds are extraordinarily comfortable, the Wi-Fi is good, television package is well appointed too. There's not a lot to dislike here apart from the entrance ways being a bit dingy and acrid from the smokers standing in the door ways.

We stayed here as our flight was cancelled (paid for by easyjet). It is a reasonable hotel but not what you would expect from a Hilton. The building is old and a bit shabby. Food is fairly basic and expensive, staff were great. I wouldn't choose to stay here unless it was on a very cheap deal.

Have stayed here twice now with my family in the past few months and can't fault a thing. Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast aswell is so good. Loads to choose from and very tasty. From continental to the full English. One other good thing about the hotel is where its situated. As I have 3 children off all different ages there is loads to do in the area. From shopping, to beach walks, a swimming pool (not part of the hotel but nxt door) to the Cadonas Amusement park nxt door aswell that's has outdoor rides for all ages, crazy golf, indoor soft play centre & tenpin bowling. Oh and a cinema. A great hotel to stay in with loads of things to do all in walking distance for the whole family.

I really like this hotel. It's clean, quiet, the beds are amazing and it's 2 minutes from the sea. Pro tip: park round the back — the front can get very busy — there's also a door round the back, so just you don't need to walk all the way round.

I have only been here for a voluntary work — related training that I did so keep in mind, that I base my review on the experience and service that I got during my time there.
I was in the conference room and the staff provided great service. We got a free bottle of sparkling water and we always got a new one whenever this was finished. In addition to that we also got tea and pasteries.
The lunch was also very good and they offered a nice variety of choice. Staff was also very friendly.

Comfortable Hotel for a business stay. Tidy and clean. Also good restaurant.

Bedroom decor is a little dated and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Service, staff and restaurant excellent.

Clean rooms. It looks like there have been some refurbishment but they forgot the bathroom. Staff are kind and helpful. Comfortable bed but with only 2 flat pillows for a double bed. None of the rooms I have been had hot water in the shower, just warm and I have had to call the engineer once. Great sticky toffee pudding but the fish and chips were over cooked and over fried, the dish should have come with mushy peas but there was some peas and lettuce. The gym is well equipped and not many people in it. In general an ok hotel with great staff.

The food is very good. The service is 10 out of 10. The staff are always happy and helpful. It is a great place for grabbing a coffee at night with friends, good location for the cinema.

Went to the DoubleTree for a wedding. The venue was perfectly suited; the couple used a conservatory-type room near the restaurant for their ceremony, and one of the function rooms doubled as the room where we had the meal/evening disco. The food was lovely and the food service was nearly flawless (although the champagne for toasts arrived AFTER the toasts were finished! ). The reception area was more than spacious enough for all the guests to use and there was a good bar with lots of choice.

Grate staff and clean room. The breakfast is diverse. Thank you for give me comfortable stay. I have just one comment about the furniture. Some of it, must change.

Top Hotel to spend a weekend in Aberdeen.
Located by the sea at 2km from the centre, the parking is large and free of charge.
It is well received and the prices are responsible.

We met this hotel on the occasion of a tour in Scotland and it was a pleasant stop. It is a business hotel, certainly not quaint, but the comfortable rooms, the large hall and the curate restaurant close to a location practically in the center of the city make it an excellent choice for short stops.
The staff are very helpful and sometimes happen to meet even some Italian waiter to whom to recommend. Excellent choice to welcome guests with their freshly baked cookies.
As anticipated the rooms are comfortable although not very large, at least mine and that of my friends who faced the back, while the bathroom is very clean and modern.
The restaurant is cozy although the tables are a little cramped, but at least you eat well…
Really recommended if you pass by there.

Convenient for event I was attending digg near the beach. Standard room which was neat, clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The welcome cookie was nice :)

Location was perfect. Had everything you could need around it, asda, cinema, bowling, mini golf, restaurants to eat and also the beach. Our room was beautiful, comfy beds, big bath, the only fault would be the signal of the tv. Staff were lovely to us and their service was excellent. Couldn't complain about a thing, would 100% recommend.

The hotel is located on walking distance from the city centre (10/15 minute walk), near the beach and has a big enough parking lot. The reception is friendly and helpful when answering questions. Rooms are of good size with all the basic facilities like 2 person bed, shower in the bath, complimentary soap and shampoo, TV, desk, seats and as an option which I really like is a window which can be opened. Breakfast is good with fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast with marmelade and tea, coffee and juices. Overall I had a nice stay and like the surroundings and rooms.

Great service. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Restaurant has a great breakfast buffet with a good dinner menu.

Lovely hotel close to the beach. If you have a very early start a good continental breakfast is available.

Hotel staff was very friendly! The proximity to the sea and town made for an ideal location. We loved the cookies of course! The room was a bit outdated, but comfortable and spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in the Platinum Club annexe, quiet and well equiped spotless too. Had dinner — too much food but first rate quality — wine not too expensive. Overall a good cost effective stay.

We attended a wedding reception in one of the function rooms. The staff were pleasant & everyone was impressed with the whole set-up. The food was basic (as requested) but good quality. The only negative was the prices at the bar but it's a hotel so…

Afternoon Tea was great and the service from Ms Mercedes who served me was exceptional.

The rooms were spacious well furnitured and luxurious in taste. Really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner selection.

Hotel is ideally situated a brief (15 min) walk from the Train Station. Very friendly staff and the Hotel was clean had all of the amenities needed for a comfy stay.

Location, staff and services all excellent. Some fittings need attention though!

(Me to the bar man) a half pint of lager shandy a malibu and lemonade and 3 packs of peanuts please (The Bar man). That will be £13.35 please What a rip off! yip also the internet a rip off £15 for 24 hours overall value poor.

The moment you check in. No you may not get free internet, you'll have to trade a kidney for it. You'll have to trade your other kidney for laundry. Then you get sent to the third floor, but the elevator is not working. 3 weeks later, it still isn't working. There are 10 treadmills, only 2 has a tread. I CHECKED OUT, then I realize I made charitable contributions to DoubleTree funds that I didn't know about.

Situated in close proximity to just about everything Aberdeen has to offer :o) Room excellent :o) Staff excellent :o) Food excellent :o) Bar prices a bit over the top but Asda is just across the road :o) Looking forward to going back soon :o).

Very good location close to North Sea and many restaurants. I wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities although it is outdated. Well maintained and spacious rooms. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Nice and plentiful breakfast. Would recommend.

I wanted to make some photos so I stayed here for three days. Big rooms, the pool was nice and warm. I hate to pay for Internet, nevertheless the staff was very nice and friendly — I felt so comfortable. Just what I expected from a Hilton hotel.

Stayed in this hotel twice and it's a really good option because it's convenient for the beach attractions and activities and for the shopping area in the city as well. I book Platinum room with a sea view which was the best decision, the other aren't so nice.
