We stayed here on our way to visit our daughter. It was clean, tidy, friendly efficient staff. The breakfast was brilliant with cooked and continental. We had both as it was all you could eat. We had evening meal in the restaurant and it was lovely. Would highly recommend the hotel. We will stay again anytime we are that way.

Rooms are really quite basic and the beds are not terribly comfy, still, they were clean and well presented. Food was really decent and well priced with a good (and varied daily) set menu — 3 course for £15. Main menu will get you 2 courses for about the same price. Breakfast was decent with a selection of cold/continental and fry up cooked to order. Parking is plentyful and free. Internet access is ok, some areas connection is spotty and you do have to pay for access.

Two stars for the restaurant more than the room, which was adequate and relatively good value for money in fairness The disappointing experience in the restaurant involved waiting over 20 minutes to have our drinks order taken. A further 40 minutes before the food arrived. All in all an hour’s wait. There was just one waitress for the entire restaurant and apparently just 1 person in kitchen. The waitress spoke little English, but did did her best to express her apologies. The food was really quite poor. The pan fried green beans turned out to be soggy over cooked beans that were tasteless and heavily over cooked. The chicken katsu curry resembled nothing I’ve had before. Instead what was served what a frozen chicken breast with no coating that was chewy and tasteless. The sauce was sweet and sickly. Quite a few menu choices weren’t available and the same story with the drinks. £10 was taken off the bill so I wasn’t too bothered but it was certainly enough to know it’s a hotel to avoid, particularly when’s there’s so much choice in Swindon.

First impression was very nice, Dogs allowed. Had an abrupt Polish? male receptionist, very arrogant. However very nice Hotel, very basic but clean, no decafe Coffee which is a must for me. No real ales, Wifi only free for 20 minute's after that if you want it you have to pay. Free Continental Breakfast included if you want full English Breakfast you have to pay extra. Food very good reasonably priced. You get what you pay for I will say good for stay a few days. Good for Business easy to find.

Clean and comfortable. As a mature woman on my own I feel safe which is very important to me. Staff always welcoming and friendly.

For a budget hotel it is clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a good selection and breakfast is good. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Very good value for money. Staff friendly and rooms were clean. Beds were very comfy; had tea and coffee facilities and flat screen. Rooms were nice and warm. Meals were good. Only downside is there are no walks around the area as it is on an industrial estate.

Pretty nice hotel. Visited friends who were staying and had dinner and drinks. Affordable prices and good food.

Very comfortable bouncy beds with medium sized rooms and an okay bathroom, but for the affordable price you can't go wrong.

Great place for the price. Nice friendly staff clean room and clean tea making facilities nice powerful shower. Had a lovely stake from the on site restaurant and the breakfast was very good as was all the food I had. Thank you to the night potter Lee who made my dog feel very welcome can't wait to come back.

Not everyone's cup of tea with its basic rooms and colour scheme but I have always found very friendly and convenient with good cooked breakfast.

Good business orientated hotel, clean, tidy and parking available. Reception staff were helpful and room albeit small was adequate and clean. Bar open until 11pm. Slept well. BTW — They are pet friendly too.

Good and friendly staff. Food were good, suggestions for free Wi-Fi.

Nice atmosphere, staf very helpful, room was a little cramped for a twin room dinner was excellent but breakfast not so much as breakfast must be pre-ordered and ended up being wrong. Continental breakfast was OK but lacked variety. OK for the price.

Budget French hotel. Not really friendly staff. Price was ok. Towels had holes in. Which is worse than Travelodge.

Rooms were pleasant enough and the dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. My only grudge was the late (ish) breakfast availability, had an early start and couldn't get one — just a croissant take out with coffee.

The rooms are small and basic. But still ok quality. The bar is lovely and the food is gd.

Decent hotel for the price — friendly staff, rooms practical and clean, food in restaurant and for breakfast good and reasonably priced.

Turgid lime green fixtures, mattress like a trampoline and shower that was more like rinsing yourself with a damp cloth, if only it would reach up high enough… Breakfast was ok I guess. Great if you just need a place to crash,. It I wouldn't take a date there.

A good compromise quality/price/location to reach Avebury.

Good for a budget hotel. Free parking, room small but tidy, bathroom adequate. Lot of road noise in the evening but that's not the fault of the hotel. Can't comment on breakfast or the restaurant as we didn't try these. Lack of air conditioning would have been annoying if the weather was warmer.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Room — dated/dirty carpet with a smell no bath mat — request from reception no aircon — request fan from reception — fan was filthy with dust General cleanliness of the room was below standard I won't even start on the free-Wi-Fi I could go on, long story short not worth the money.

Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Stayed here many times and I liked it. Staff are freindly and has good check in and out times and is in a nice location.

This hotel is nice one and easily accessible from the M4 motor high way and 2 miles away from city center. Accessibility is good, but don't have any nuisance of the city. Rooms are well maintained. Free breakfast and did is okay.

Booked this for my parents visit to me in Swindon it's a jewel of a hotel, with a great professional and friendly staff, lovely comfortable rooms and facilities, great food and really reasonable prices. Very clean and modern. Very accessible and we'll positioned. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Decent sized menu and food was well cooked and tasty. Great breakfast too. Room a little tired but kept clean and the bed was comfy.

A beautiful hotel with traditional English cuisine and France.

Awful. Manager was useless, paper thin walls and dirty. Asked for a refund after looking at the room and was told I wasn't entitled. Soon changed that.

I found the staff at the Swindon location to be very helpful, even moving our room and the crib to a different floor when we requested it. The breakfast food was fresh and plentiful and the room clean.

It's a very basic hotel, the room I had was very small, but the main problem is the Wi-Fi, it was very very slow and as I was trying to work on a night, the speed of the Wi-Fi made it all but impossible, I would normally fall back onto tethering from my phone, but the 4g in the area is equally bad. The lime green colour theme of the rooms looks very cheap as well.

The Wi-Fi connection is very very slow praboably 100kps. Be aware if you do not have working internet access on your phone.

The cooked breakfast was very small for the price, tasted nice but just not enough of it. Also the general ambiance of the hotel, including friendliness was a little lacking. I also stayed at the travel lodge in Swindon some months back, and much preferred it. The cooked breakfast was a couple of pounds more, but you could have as much as you wanted and you helped yourself, and the desk staff were more cheery. At times at campanile I felt like I was a burden to the staff though not all. But the rooms at campanile were very good and clean, and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. But in general I would prefer to stay at travel lodge, oh and the Wi-Fi at campanile although free was woefully slow.

Modern and well kept hotel with restaurant. Free Wi-Fi and comfy beds, nice staff. Plenty of free parking and close to the M4 and the Swindon Outlet, easy check-in/out.

Nice room, although cleaner didn't knock before entering. Food was average.

This is my second time here, the staff are helpful, as a woman having to stay away from home for a few days at a time I feel at ease and safe here. Its clean with good parking which is grate after a late finish at work. I will be back hear every time im in swindon.

Just a one night stop over on the way home from Devon, quiet room a little warm could do with some A/C also lots of green colour, bed comfy only noise was from big thunder storm.

Friendly staff, good food but little variety if these here a long stay, good cleaning.
The worst price and the very slow Wi-Fi connection, poor coverage, lost again and again having to restart the registry each time, very bad.

Menu limited and expensive for what u get, buffet good value but the same food, no variation, OK for business stopovers but not long stay, no freeview in rooms and space limited, Staff very friendly.

A business stay. Clean rooms polite and attentive staff. Buffet meal was excellent. Second stay and would like to visit again.

Really good: great value, very good food (nice vege selection). The room was comfortable and clean. Not the most picturesque location but is conveniently near main roads. We would definitely stay here again :-).

POSITIVE: I stayed in Companile hotel in Swindon for 8 nights on my way back from Switzerland for my holidays. I should say that I really enjoyed my time there. The staff were wonderful and very friendly, even the lady in the breakfast section. Whenever I asked for any requests, it was resolved by the staff immediately. The room was very convenient, quiet, clean and well decorated. I could use the internet free anytime I wished which was great. Very well-priced hotel and I definitely recommend it to people who want to stay in Swindon. The location is fantastic and you can reach town center by bus in 10 minutes. I am sure I will stay again in Campanile when I travel to Swindon. Yasamin.
