James was really friendly and helpful. I had absolutely no complaints. The room may be slightly smaller but it has everything that one would need. Very nicely decorated with all amenities. The breakfast menu was also perfect as I expected. I certainly recommend this place and personally would like to come over again.

We've just had 2 nights here I can honestly say it was the best guest house we've stayed in. Wev had a room with a four-poster bed and it was so lovely. Breakfast was just fab. Nothing was to much trouble, we were made to feel very welcome. I would go back without a doubt. And IV recommend it to friends. Thank you for making our stay really lovely. Xx Sharon & Alan lees.

Excellent service, great friendly couple. Room is a little rustic and some ceilings are low hanging (At least in the Coach house), but these are minor gripes. For the price, niceness and quality of the stay, accommodating hosts, it gets top marks from me.

Wonderful old house with lots of character. Very comfortble abd clean rooms woth excellebt en suite. Ample parking, and a great cooked breakfast.

What a lovely place to stay, if you want a generic hotel with a bar and close to the centre of everything this isn't the place for you but if you like quirky, historic and quiet then book away! We loved our stay, creaking floorboards, uneven floors, enormous four poster bed, delicious breakfast, teddy bears on the landing, lovely friendly hosts are a few of the highlights. Will be back and will be recommending to friends.

Spent the weekend at the Calcutts House, for the CWP Conference in Telford. I stayed in the Coach House, which was beautifully warm and toasty, and had a very welcoming feel. Our host was genial and polite, and very attentive! Nothing was too much trouble — a lot of places could learn from this, to be honest. Next time we're in Telford I think this will be our FIRST choice of places to go, and I WILL be recommending to friends!

Just got home from spending a lovely weekend at the Calcutts House
Stayed in the Coach house where the room was very clean, welcoming and had everything you needed.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for James who welcomed us and served our Breakfasts in the morning which was presented and cooked well with great choice served in a lovely dining area overlooking the garden at the back of the house.
Highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again when visiting Telford.
Thank you James for making our stay comfortable.
