I accidentally entered their car park to turn the car when trying to find a route to Abbey Meadows, only to find the barrier close behind me. The receptionist charged £5 to let me out of their car park — what a rip-off! Can't comment on the rooms but am definitely not impressed by the heavy-handed, uncompromising approach used by their staff.
The mattress had some sort of dip in the middle which was pretty uncomfortable. We also had to kill 4 medium sized spiders which led my wife to have a sleepless night imagining how many more were lurking under the bed. Otherwise this was a good hotel — Wi-Fi just about worked, breakfast was good, surrounding area lovely.
