I went to a comedy night here and really enjoyed it. It was the latest of a number of outings I've made to St George's. The character of the old building is still intact and the space feels intimate and friendly. Its also a nice feeling when you're able to support a local theatre group. Local support is the lifeblood of their survival. Try to find something in their programme to whet your appetite for live theatre and book your tickets. Im sure you wont be disappointed. There's something about a live show that can't be equalled.

The cafe is beautiful and the food is usually outstanding. However, in the last few months there has been a big reduction in the variety of food, opening hours and staffing levels offered. Please improve selection of food and levels of staff and limited opening times which reflects on the quality of service. It would be a shame to loose customers due to this issue. It's a beautiful venue. I recently performed here in a theatre show, and while the acoustics mean you need to project your voice a little more, I can imagine for a band, it would be a fantastic place to perform. It seats around 250 or so, plus the balconies can provide additional seating if required. There is a small bar, plus separate male, female and disabled toilet facilities. The building itself is also a bit of a looker too!.

A lovely little gem in Norfolk, this theatre looks great inside and out, the production quality is great from tech to actors, the seating is not perminant just chairs but there is a lovely cafe next door run by the theatre.

Went to see Guesthouse which was advertised as a comedy but unfortunately it just wasn't. Also it was colder inside the theatre than out so we had to keep coats on. Shame as could of been really good.

Much improved theatre, good variety, reasonable prices. Parking difficult for elderly and disabled, although a lot of space available directly outside venue, shame!

Lovely venue, friendly helpful staff, great show. But the heating had failed on the coldest night of the year so it was an ordeal.

As usual a most enjoyable evening at St George's. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

A good place for coffee. Specialty hot chocolates really nice!

Very good panto thy do well for amateurs. Pity the dancers could not have their own show.

A great venue… But service on the booking office is appalling. Having arrived 40 minutes before a performance to find the booking office closed, and to be told we should have arrived 30 minutes before a performance, that the publicity was incorrect but the tickets showed the correct time, I lost the desire to ever go back!

Great venue and shows. Top performances on your doorstep. Highly recommended.

Attended St Georges Theatre last night to see Dirty Dancing and what a great night. The theatre, although a little cold, is beautiful. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The show was AMAZING… the cast were fab… not only talented with their dancing and singing but a really funny show with some little bits of adult humour. My daughter and I had the best night so thank you. Big shout out to the lovely lady that played Lisa! You are a star… hilarious and made the show! Well done.

Very nice well renovated auditorium. They have many good performers here on a regular basis. Highly recommend a visit.

Pleasant venue and adjoining bar — find somewhere secure to park your car, ours was damaged when parked on the street.

Like the night clubs we have left in great Yarmouth, loyalty card? Or as its a small town look after locals! If they like being entertained and spending money at the venue because in summer you can spend your money all day! After a point ie time they charge.

Well placed and lively place. Good place for a drink and chill.

Nice hotel, staff very friendly. Not far from the beach.

Not recommended. Not at all.
