Had a fab few days in marine Lodge me and my hubby. Staff so welcoming helpfull. Cant do enough. But on checking out discoverd our camera missing. If anyone reading these reviews. Has seen it or got it please would you contact us. As there's a lot of memories on it we are so gutted. Any help would be grate ful. Our holiday has been spoiled by this. Wish there was a bit more they coukd have done before we left with cctv.

Stayed with my partner for 3 nights and we had a lovely time. Covid 19 precautions were excellent, very friendly staff, especially Sam, and lovely spacious rooms. Also a lovely breakfast. We will be returning in the future. Thank you.

We've just come home from a week's stay and can't wait to come back. We stay for a week every year at this time and love it here. We can't fault anything from the welcome reception, the lovely room maid, bar staff, restaurant waitresses and waiters and the manager… all spot on, friendly and extremely helpful. Our room is always immaculate and cleaned daily. The food is very tasty and well presented and the bar has an array of drinks to suit anyone… love to have a yarn with whoever is behind the bar…

Stayed at the Marine for over 10 years, the management and Staff have always been excellent, the rooms are spacious and have everything required for an excellent stay.
The menu is varied and priced Accordingly, by far the most complete hotel in Gt Yarmouth.
The hotel has history dating back to WW2, I found this quite interesting.
I’ll continue to visit for many years along with my colleagues 5

Love this place, our waitress Sarah is a true gem and love the friendliness of staff, it's like a second home, I feel safe here.

Very thin walls, not the cleanest of bathrooms but good location and an ok price.

Just had monday to friday here and was absolute lovely … everything we needed. Very clean and staff was so helpful and had time to speak to you… nothing was a problem even had to change our bedding after 1 night as little lad spilt coffee on it. Would highly reccomend and already talking about booking for next year.

Really nice clean pub/ restaurant, nice seating area outside looking over the marine.

Stayed 28th July 2018 with my daughter and 2 grandchildren. Absolutely brilliant. Staff excellent breakfast delish wish we had stayed a week car park brilliant. Hope to get back again. To all the staff you are amazing thankyou x.

Food is amazing and well worth the money.
The family rooms are lrg and spacious with good views.
We have stayed here about 7times and wouldn't stay any where els.

Superbly situated with great views of the sea. Friendly staff, a nice small lounge bar. Very good quality food. We had what was a pretty basic room, a little dated but clean and tidy. I couldn't comment on other rooms but felt ours could use a revamp / refresh. Having said that it was perfectly adequate for our needs on a short stay. Would certainly book again with no hesitation. On site parking very useful bonus too.

Absolutely stunning place and the service was perfect. The room was the best I've slept in. Very comfortable beds… excellent tasting food also…

Had a long drive down there then when we went to have showers there was no hot water. The hot water came on after 15 minutes then it went off again. You walk in and you think oh this is really nice. When you get into the rooms there are something completely different.

Brilliant hotel. We always stay here when we go to Great Yarmouth. Spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast and lunch fantastic. Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Bar is good nice selection of wine Guinness is the surge type which is okay. Short walk to the shops with the usual cheap tack, we love them. Would recommend the Marine Lodge. Can't wait till our next visit.

Nice hotel, comfy bed, only reason for not giving 5 was poor shower — could not get it hot & sticky door. Lovely staff.

We stopped for 2 nights and really enjoyed it, we would not stop anywhere else in Yarmouth. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and tidy.

Can not fault this place. Me and my wife came hear on our honeymoon. We was upgraded to a bigger room, the room was amazing. And the bed was the best. Can't wait to come again.

Just come home after spending 3 nights at the marine lodge, customer service was average. Fantastic location, hotel nice but rooms more like a 3 star, didn't eat at hotel because wanted to venture out, will definitely come back to yarmouth, loads to do especially if u have young children, we didn't but still had a fab time, would proberly choose a different hotel though next time we visit.

Really good location and lovely staff. My room had a sea view and though I didn't have an evening meal (I wanted fish and chips on the promenade) I had a full English breakfast which was excellent. Decent value and highly recommended overall.

We have been staying at the marine lodge for approx 10 yrs and always been really happy until this year! We have just returned home after a 4 night stay and to say we were very disappointed is an understatement! Don't get me wrong the staff are lovely but the building and rooms are now very dated and run down — our room number 34 was a family room it was dirty and dusty wasn't even hoovered with dirt and bottle tops over the floor! The cabinets were peeling and sharp to the touch. Put it this way If we hadn't traveled 4 hrs then I would have gone home — I asked to be moved however there was no other rooms available. So upsetting and disappointing to say the least especially after spending over £1000 on 4 rooms. 4 * guest house I don't think so anymore.

Good location, service was great by some members of staff. Bar staff were fast and efficient.

Really nice and clean. Room a bit small for a family of 5, but we didn't spend a lot of time in it. The location was perfect, the beach is a whole 2 minute walk and all the amusement all within 5 minutes. Definitely do it again.

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 day break at this hotel. We stayed in room 14 which was very nice apart from the fact that it was very hot, the position of the window let in no breeze, but this was the only kind of negative that we could find. The 'Nice and Simple' breakfast on the menu was more than enough for us even though you could have a bigger one. All the staff were very polite and could not do enough for you. The position of the hotel is fantastic as we still had a sea view, even from the side. It is near to everything and could not be better. If you want nice fish and chips, try the Brittania in the high street, if you want an expensive drink then try the Pub on the Prom, if you want a nice drink the go to the Wellington Bowling Ally and sit outside, if you want a bar to stay clear of, The Karma on the sea front. Fantastic stay, brought back some fond memories.
