Loved our few nights here — spotless rooms and excellent breakfasts. Thanks to Paul and Vicky and their great team!

Excellent in every sense. Paul and Vicky are lovely hosts who do their best to ensure that guests are comfortable. Good facilities, yummy breakfasts, great swimming pool, what's not to like? Also, cheers to Daniel! Can't wait to come back. I recommend this place with confidence that you will enjoy.

Dave and Ann are Great Owners they cannot do enough for you, The Hotel is Spotless, rooms always smell nice, fresh towels everyday. The Breakfast is great, a Full English every Morning which Dave and Ann cook, loads of toast which you cook yourself, loads of homemade Jam and if you want fruit there is loads of that as well. In the summer there is a outdoor Swimming Pool and when you sit up there you can get a terrific tan, Dave runs the Bar which is open from 11am to 5pm, and 6pm to 11pm if Dave or Ann are not in the bar area all you have to do is ring the bell on the reception desk. The Lounge is very comfortable and there are board Games in the lounge that you can play as well, it is walking distance to the Town Centre and also to the Old Village. I stayed there every summer from 2007 to 2016, and the only reason I dont stay there now is because I now live on the Island, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone but if you have young Children I think the age that you can take them there is 7 Years Old but you can always call Ann or Dave and they will give you all the information you need.

Room spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, a warm welcome on arrival, a lovely suntrap pool, and to top it all off an outstanding breakfast selection and service. Great value.

Stayed 4 days at this hotel. Very warm welcome from Dave. Rooms spotless. Breakfast plentiful and good food which included Anne's home made bread and jams. Staff where very polite and efficient. Very close to beautiful beach best on the island. Would absolutely recommend staying here and hopefully we can return one day.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, immaculate accommodation beautiful food beautiful surroundings friendly staff and guests will definitely stay there in our return next year.

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely breakfast lovely people, and with the addition of a heated pool what more can you ask for. Room 4 on first floor has lovely sea views, decor and very comfy bed. Nice relaxing bar area to relax in after a long day seeing the splendours of this beautiful island. Hope to return again next year. Thank you to Dave and Ann for yr wonderful hospitality.

Left the Havelock with a sad heart last weekend. Family holiday with our daughter and niece. They loved the swimming pool and made themselves at home. Every night we enjoyed the bar room to play the family games and of course enjoy Dave's hospitality. Breakfast lovely. Hotel spotless and staff amazing. We came last year too and will keep coming.

Very clean though out, helpful owners and staff good breakfast I was with a group and everybody was very satisfied we were too early in the year to comment about the garden and Poole the weather was not brilliant.

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, Ann and Dave are absolutely fantastic and the Breakfast is great. The rooms are spotless and you can have a laugh with Dave in the bar or if you so wish just sit in the very comfortable armchairs and keep your self to your self.

Just had a week at this Hotel. Owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful, lovely room, great choice of tasty breakfast, heated outdoor swimming pool right outside our room. Thank you.

On arrival the owners were fantastic! So friendly, chatty and fun. We booked short notice (45 mins before arrival as the hotel we had originally booked was horrendous), so we had a chat about that and as a bonus to us, upgraded us to a bigger room with a sea view. They pointed out where all the local attractions were, good places to eat, etc and said if we need anything, just ask. The room was glorious! Very well decorated, modern and very well presented. The swans made out of towels on the bed was a lovely touch! Toiletries supplied, good powerful shower and very clean bathroom. A lovely selection of fruit teas, coffee and galaxy hot chocolate awaited us next to the spotlessly clean kettle in the room. The bed was impeccably made and ever so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and nothing felt like it was too much trouble for the owners. On the whole, a fantastic stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! If only every hotel could be like this!

It's in a great location, has v friendly staff, the breakfast is great, and the swimming pool is really lovely in summer. Rooms a bit small but you can't have everything.

Just left this morning. Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, they really can't do enough for you, especially Laura dealing with my fussy breakfast order every morning and reserving us a table. First class. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay, the staff are all lovely, friendly, chatty and helpful, rooms are very clean and there is plenty to choose from for breakfast. We couldn't fault the place.

What a wonderful Hotel we love visiting every year a fantastic escape away. Thank you. I can recommend both the balcony sea view rooms and the pool facing rooms. Superb visit to the magical Island with a good filling Hot English Breakfast to Classic FM very relaxing with service with a smile from the amazing breakfast waitress service.

Lovely hotel, I got the luck to have a sea view bedroom and it was fabulous. The breakfast was delicious: you have the choice between full English breakfast, poshed eggs on granary toast, or egg royal on granary toast on top of a buffet of cereals, breads, homemade jams, croissants… The owner was very nice and welcoming. I was in paradise. I will definitely go back if I stay in Shanklin again.

I have been to the Havelock 3 times now, and every time I dont want to go home.
The staff are so friendly, the owners are one in a million, and the breakfast is out of this world. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Room 10… Compact but beautiful, plenty of storage space. Amazing shower. Not classed as having sea though despite having a patio door on to a fabulous little sun terrace, with a table and chairs and a sea view. Highly recommend this room. We've loved staying here. Enjoyed a swim in the heated pool even though the sun wasn't out. Will definitely return.

Beautifully clean, great breakfast, comfy beds, great rooms. Will definitely book again. Only 3 mins from Old Shanklin and Shanklin Beach.

An excellent small hotel that is well run, friendly staff and owners, clean and comfortably appointed plus nice swimming pool. Very good breakfast choices.

Stayed here a couple of years ago now and it was lovely, very clean and friendly. We would love to visit again soon, the Hotel itself is only a couple of minutes walk away from the Steps or Lift to the beach and also 2/3 mins walk into the busy but pretty town of Shanklin.
