Absolutely stunning and so relaxing 10/10 for our stay very friendly and welcoming too.

Found these through a Google search and my god it did not disappoint!
What a lovely place, The lodges are exactly how hey look on the website-which is usually not the case.
They smelt brand new, Very clean and amazing amenities covered.
staff at the baiting house pub were so helpful and friendly, we ordered takeaway to eat in our lodge it was lovely. Then breakfast was fantastic also!
A little hidden gem we will most definitely be returning too and hopefully manage to get a hot tun next time.

Very pleased! very helpful via facebook. Nothing was to much for them. Booked a weekend away for my mum and her partner. She was lost for words. Where they stayed in there lodge it was spotless! everything was there beautiful what I had paid for, it was that clwan you could eat of the floor! they had an amazing time. Will defo be back & highly recommend! thank you so much on behalf of my mom and her partner ❤

Booked for 2 nights doors wouldn’t locked got told to leave valuables in pub door would be fixed by time we got back. No it wasnt. Got offered a free meal we accepted and door would be fixed next day. No it wasnt. Asked to speak to owner he wouldn’t talk to me told them I’m quite calm at moment but not for much longer if I don’t speak to owner surprise surprise a phone call. Told Andrew I wanted a days money back or a free night. He offered a free night. But after speaking to the wife this was unsuitable for us due to family problem. Emailed Andrew to tell him I wanted a days money instead. Still waiting for a reply from 19th July
He also promised to come see me still waiting
Messaged him on Facebook messenger got told he would be Intouch tomorrow or next day 23rd July still waiting
Messaged him tonight told seriously unhappy I’ve got the phone called recorded and I’m going to make a post and review told me to go ahead! Bad way to run a business SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT GO. Feel sorry for staff working there great bunch.

The location, the lodges, the pub. Everything is perfect.

After arriving in early Jan for our 3rd visit we took the in-laws for a well deserved break. Check in is a late 4pm but understandable, however what was frustrating considering we had our 7 week old daughter was check in was delayed until 4.30! We were then supposed to have 2 cabins next to each other which didn’t happen, also no Prosecco in the lodges as per the offer. We then found no milk in the fridge and no spare linen in the lodge for our 3 yr old to sleep in the sofa bed, this wasn’t delivered until the morning after 3 requests! First breakfast and evening meal was lovely in fairness, but to our dismay our hot tub wasn’t operating correctly despite us speaking to a member of staff who reassured us it was, however from previous visits it was clear that it wasn’t! Breakfast started at 8am and we were there for then and had booked in however the door wasn’t open and we had to wait 10 minutes after this time to be let in, again with a 7 week old baby! Then breakfast was served with condiments that had clearly been used the previous day due to crumbs and other things in them! And the sausages were clearly warmed up from the previous day. Then after walking back to the lodge via the disabled access with the pushchair to our horror we found 5 large saucepans of prepared veg left outside on the wall near the kitchen, albeit covered in cling film, however, the large pan of chips was uncovered! Made my stomach churn!

Lovely little spot. Really nice pub friendly helpful staff and when you go down to the cabins your left alone. Really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again. Thank you.

Absolutely, Lee & I had a fab stay and didn’t want to leave. It was just perfect thank you. Everyone was so friendly & the food was amazing ☺️

Amazing hidden gem and couldn’t have been happier. 5 lovely secluded lodges thoughtfully laid out with strategic plants for a bit of privacy. Lovely finish inside and a super comfy bed so I slept better than I have in a long time. The food was faultless in the restaurant and Richard on the bar looked after us with espresso martinis, long islands and plenty of gin. Bromyard nearby has a lovely bakery for fresh bread every morning. We travelled out to Hereford, Chase Distillery and Forest of Dean. A successful 4 nights and I would highly recommend.

Could not recommend staying here enough! everything is to such a high standard and everything is thought of. It is also so so peaceful. I will deffo come back!

WOW! What can I say? One of the best weekends I've had in forever. The lodges themselves were a great size for four adults (clean, super modern and tastefully decorated). The hot tub was just breathtaking. The onsite pub did some of the most reasonably and yummy priced food and the location was beautiful. It's so hard to come across dog friendly places especially ones of this calibre. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Absolutely fantastic place we have been here a few times most recently with our 6 month dogue De Bordeaux and he loved it. Highly recommended!

Awesome place been going since they were built total relaxation for all, totally dog friendly, food in pub fantastic.

Just returned from 4 nights staying in one of the lodges everything was perfect very friendly staff lovely pub and restaurant and a soothing hot tub loved it so much booked up for next year.

Had a brilliant 4 night stay. The lodges are beautiful and tastefully furnished to a high standard and are extremely comfortable. The lovely little extras found on arrival are far more than expected from self catering accommodation and the luxury of the hot tub is also fantastic with lovely peaceful surroundings and views. Baiting House itself has a huge array of gorgeous food and drink available and very welcoming staff. Looking forward to booking again for next year as we enjoyed it so much.

Loved the lodges, the lodges were a bit close to one another on the website look far away from each other, Def would come back, just a suggestion would be great to have a pull out canopy over the tub for the bad weather, spotless clean, brilliant lodges Lisa and Dave Dudley.

We have just returned from a relaxing 2 day break at the lodges. With the luxury of a hot tub, and a quiet place to just lay back and let all your worries float away was brilliant. There was 4 of us in total, 2 adults and 2 children. I'll admit the lodge we had, would probably be better served for 2 or 3 people (we had the addition of a sofa bed) but even with 4 it never felt too cramped. The lodge had everything from complimentary snacks/drinks, even milk! To every kitchen utensils you would need. Oh and being able to just walk to the pub was an added bonus Would definitely recommend the lodges to friends and family!

Just got home from a 4 night break at the lodges. Wasn't long enough! Beautiful setting and the lodges are so well equipt, they've thought of everything. The luxury of the private hot tub was a brilliant addition.
The breakfast and bbq packs are a must try.
Treated ourselves to two meals in the Baiting house, the tuesday night "classic bait" was fab, and the a la carte menu has a perfect range of tasty things to choose from.
We will be back!

What a beautiful few days we've had at the lodges, felt like a home from home. Stunning scenery and views that you could never grow tired of. At night time, relax in the hot tub whilst star gazing. If you don't fancy cooking then the pub food is simply amazing and hits the spot. The whole family and our dogs loved it, and are now completely shattered from all of the walks and places we visited. We will definitely be back.

Just home from a family week away. The lodges are absolutely beautiful and in such a peaceful setting. The welcome basket is a lovely touch and beautiful starry skies made it magical. The Baiting House pub is brilliant too. We enjoyed playing pool in The Clubhouse and the pizzas on the patio are among the best we've ever had. We would highly recommend. X.
