Should decrease drink prices. £1.95 for lemonade as mixer from a bottle that cost a quid is discraceful. Plus different bar staff charged different prices. Not impressed.

Great place to stay really spacious room good breakfast.

Very poor customer service which is letting the world wide Marriott brand down. Should be reviiewed urgently by Marriott's management team before they put off a lot of their long time customers.

Bar is a complete rip off… £18 for 2 drinks! wanted to buy a drink not the whole bar! Didn't even have proper gin glasses for g&t… other than that hotel very nice and was very grateful for the cake put in our room for my finances Birthday…

This hotel is a gem for London visitors. It is away from the hustle bustle of the London city with spacious outdoor free parking, large hotel rooms, great service and very clean and modern looking. The hotel is actually in the same building as the world's largest Rugby Stadium (the stadium is in the back side of the building). You can't even tell from the front it is a hotel. We love the facilities and staff at this hotel.

Sport hotel. Very well presented. Extra clean. Really comfortable and everything on the bedroom was usefull and actually yhe room was decent in size. Staff very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast amazing. Sport rest not great. Stadium is amazing. Virgin facilities next to the hotel. Very good jacuzzi and sauna.

Was the worst Marriott we have ever stayed in. Guests were loud during the midnight hours. Cigarette smoke and smell were coming through the doors when it was suppose to be a non-smoking room. Our room smelled like cigarettes and it was a non-smoking room. Do NOT use the hotel taxi service, they are extremely expensive. Breakfast and service at breakfast was good. Did get some nice directions to nearby restaurants. We tried them and they were good.

Excellent & friendly early check-in & room was of excellent quality with a good view. Nice roomy bar downstairs. The hotel is built into Twickenham Stadium & thus has decent transport offerings. A bus stop outside towards Twickenham Rail Station or a 15 minute walk. The only fail was the Breakfast — it wasn’t the best — The sausages were in all honesty “raw” and overall it was very disappointing — You go for toast & come back to find your table cleared away, and there were only about 6 people seated — So maybe a bit of observation is required. Very reasonable price when there isn’t an event on.

Perfect place to stay if you are watching the rugby. Bar staff do struggle when there's a game on, but that will be the same anywhere. Not having to fight the crowds to get away from the stadium is bliss. Food in the hotel restaurant is of good quality. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The venue is beautiful. Perfectly located for corporate, social and tourist stays for the purpose of going to a major rugby match. The bar service is great. The whole place is very well taken care of an modern. Overall it is a fantastic hotel.

Stopped by for a couple of drinks before a rugby match. It is the perfect location, just under the stadium. The drinks were acceptable hotel bar prices and they were good, so can't find any fault here. Would definitely pick the hotel as a drinks place, as opposed to some very crowded pub nearby. Much nicer and quieter.

Really nice bar, good atmosphere. Pretty expensive but that's to be expected given the location. Weirdly little choice, they have no Jack Daniels for example. It's still very nice though.

Travelled with a colleague — we had two rooms booked but the hotel had overbooked and one of us was turned away. The front desk, in their defense, were apologetic, helpful and refunded the rooms. They also booked alternative accommodation, but this was 25 minutes away in morning traffic so far from ideal. For a hotel that's largely business use only, we expected reliable service. I'd be very wary booking here for an event as it's apparently no guarantee you'll actually stay.

The fact that the virgin active gym is right next door is a win for this place. Rooms are spacious, clean and overall hotel is nicely maintained. Walking distance to downtown area where you'll find plenty of food options. Hotel restaurant and breakfast service are excellent as well. The polish lady overseeing breakfast room is great. Get the waffle off the menu!

My favorite hotel whenever I am in London. Very friendly staff and decent food. The rooms are good size with some suits overlooking rugby stadium pitch. Parking is free which is another upside to London hotels. Hotel is close to Richmond area which you can find lots of nice restaurants. Rates are reasonable.

Nice staff but my room was a constant 24 degree no matter what I did with air con. Plus the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. Poor for £160!

I watched the recent English/Irish six nations match in this hotel. On match day you expect a venue in such a prime location to be busy and for the staff to be under pressure. The place was a joke with completely incompetent staff. In particular, the bar manager on the ground floor. I couldn’t more highly recommend that you stay away from this venue on busy days.

Forced to order room service and pay tray charge as the restaurant was closed. Very expensive for so far out of London though the rooms were a good size and the staff were really helpful and polite despite probably not even being paid minimum wage according to the latest name and shame list on BBC news website.

Amazimg, amazing and amazing. Went to an O2 event for start up businesses at the stadium. Got to meet the England Women's Rugby team and discussed how we can drive performance in business, from recruiting to the bottom line. Got to also have an inside look at the grounds! Fab time!

A typical Marriott, but nestled in the side of Twickenham stadium. This is a very clean and modern hotel, with very recent fixtures and fittings. If you're attending an event at Twickenham and need an overnight stay, this is the best option for you, but probably also the priciest. Book well in advance if you want to stay here on a match day!

This is a top hotel, we have stayed here on many occasions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Pitch View suites are something very special. ALL the staff are always very friendly and helpful. We love it here.

The hotel delivers. Nothing to complaint about, it's up to the Marriott standards. Only dark spot, they are chilly to give upgrades to elites customers. Wasn't offered an upgrade as gold because the class above wasn't available at check-in but instead offered paid upgrades to higher class rooms. Some other hotels are more generous ;)

Great location, clean and well presented. Nice rooms and pitch side rooms have a great view. TV system is antiquated no HD in 2017 and non standard remotes.

Nice hotel, good service. Only gripe was that the Virgin Gym have restricted swimming times for children, i. E Sunday morning is no kids, so made the feature of having a gym and pool on site useless for us.

This is our 2nd time in staying at the Marriott Twickenham, the staff go above and beyond their duties and customer services exceeds expectations, rooms are Fantastic and comfortable, although the duvets can be thicker for the winter, however, the staff made sure we got another duvet with no extra cost, the food in the restaurant is delicious just a little over priced, just one constructive criticism is that on match days residents of the hotel should at least be given a discount for food and beverages (with proof of them staying here) as even the drinks are over priced (double spirit and mixer costing nearly £15). Thank for making as feel welcome and making it feel like home from home and see you again on our next trip here for another Rugby game.

Two double beds in our room absolutely fantastic big room. Worth staying here for the match. Price we paid for the room should come with free Wi-Fi but was very dissapointed it would cost another £10 a day. Why. All other hotels we've stayed in give it free. Breakfast was a bit expensive at £16.50 but was very nice. All in all a very good couple of nights. Thanks.

Not happy!
Expecting a lovely relaxing stay in a nice hotel before the match tomorrow, get our child off to sleep and then us settled for bed. Go to switch the air conditioning off as it’s causing little one to cough and is quite noisy, actually sounds like something is stuck in the system too. We find It won’t switch off, so after trying to silence it (can’t find a manual) ring reception and are told it’s not possible to switch it off. As it’s a stadium hotel you can’t open the windows and to ensure fresh air flow they don’t switch off!.
Annoyed us as we want to sleep and that’s why we took a room here to get a good nights sleep and relax to add enjoyment to our trip. Leaves us no option but to perk up with it.

Good hotel with friendly service. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and used to be excellent (a year ago) but is still really good. Weird that you have to pay extra again for "fancy" coffee like a Latte Macchiato for instance. The gym is big but you have to go outside and next door to get to it.

Nice hotel, no local restaurant close by, 10 minute bus ride to closest.

Opening the bedroom door and seeing that wonderful big white bed after finishing my marathon 26.2 mile walk was such an awesome sight. The staff on reception were really nice. The three things that let the stay down were the scruffy desk top in the room, the shower was somewhat lacking in power and the ladies upstairs toilets (for bar customers) 4 out of the 5 were dirty and needed flushing. Certainly not been checked for a while.
The food in the bar was ok and the bar staff were very polite.

Very friendly check in staff. The rooms are comfortable as expected, but the car park is not straight forward to get to, having to drive all the way round the stadium, and then it's a bit of a walk to the hotel entrance, but it is free to park. Breakfast was basic but decent. I'd come here again.

Fantastic — hotel rooms have everything you could wish for. Food is good. Beds are mega comfy. Easy parking. Walking distance to the train station. Bus stop directly outside.

Stayed for one night in a good sized room for 3 of us. Nice clean bathroom, double sized wardrobe, fridge and lots of choice on TV. Plus you are at Twickenham stadium.

We stayed here for one night as my girlfriend love rugby. The best check in experience we had. Igla the receptionist who checked us in was absolutely amazing. I've worked for Marriott for 9 years and one of the best customer services I have seen so far. She was brilliant and had the knowledge of everything and gave us all the information we needed before even asking. She got us a really nice room facing the town. She greet us every time we pass through the reception and asking if we having a good stay with always a smile on her face. Nice clean room and big and very comfy bed. Please pass this onto Igla from reception.

Stayed on a business trip and found it very pleasant and quite. It is part of the rugby ground so I'm sure would be totally different on a match day. Bar and reception and large open spaces and served good food although a little expensive. Room is very large with a large bed and modern facilities. Only negative is parking, it's free but a walk from a rough gravel car park.

Was not the best hotel I have stayed at. No water in the room, no drinks in the mini fridge, the customer service at reception wasn't 5 stars. We where given a room with 2 double beds for a couple which was pointless and the guest next door started banging doors and banging on the wall at 9am waking us up.

I couldn't fault it. The service they provided was what I expected.

Staff are always friendly, professional, and accommodating. Rooms are modern, clean and roomy — a step up from other Marriotts in the class of the Worsely and Manchester airport. Bar seems to have declined since my last visit 4 months ago — decor has changed and the menu is very limited.

If your into rugby and going to Twickenham to watch the rugby, then this is definitely the only place to stay. Modern hotel connected to the stadium with regular nicely furnished hotel rooms. Free access to the Virgin Active health club also attached to the stadium which is a great bonus. After the game the bar in the hotel is lively with great atmosphere. Restaurant is pretty good too all based within the hotel. When going to a Saturday game advise to get there early and parked up (book the parking with the hotel), have a spa at the Virgin active, get ready and soak in the atmosphere pre game with a few cold ones.

Very friendly staff, average breakfast, very easy connection to Waterloo in central London.

Great hotel. Not terribly convenient for sightseeing in London but immaculate and well maintained.

Fairly standard Marriott inside, but in a unique location at the home of rugby. I've experienced a night here that was won as part of a competition during the London 7s, which provided a handy bed at the end of a long day watching rugby. I've also experienced the catering as part of a work Christmas party. Food was good quality and good service, though typically prices are high when there are matches on which is the only time you'd really want to stay.
