Had an excellent evening and food and stayed at the hotel which is very good. Especially for the price. I do recommend the hotel.

Room was excellent. But the food wasnt up to it. The plates, hideous. Fish and chips blend. Fried buttermilk chicken, crispy but blend. Room 4 Food 2

A great J D Wetherspoon pub, with great spacious rooms, and plenty of fascinating history on the walls. Meal was very nice, and drinks too, at usual great price. Lounge bar is particularly pleasant.

I love the decor in this place, they've kept a lots of the original features. There's a gr8 outdoor space too as well as some (limited) parking. The food was very nice and average prices and according to the menu it included free drinks, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, we weren't offered those free drinks (which is why they didn't get 5 Stars this time! ) but it didn't matter too much as we had already bought some before ordering the food. And, a surprising PLUS is that they don't charge for Soda Water. Excellent, thank you!

Stayed 6 nights in September 2017. Very reasonable price for single use of a double room. Breakfasts served from 7am and traditional breakfast with unlimited coffee under 5 pounds. Bus stops outside the hotel and just a short ride to the Underground. I highly recommend and will stay again when in London.

The World's Biggest Real-ale Festival was on, so I could choose from 29 ales! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good food and comfortable seats. What a great pub!

I love this pub. Draft beer excellent at ridiculously low prices. Cannot fault the food for value. Always looking for an excuse to return! I highly recommend it.

Not your usual whetherspoons. Love the little fire place. Fresh food always and drinks served quick as well. Staff also very friendly.

Great day and night out at the Greenwood Hotel. Nice and clean hotel, the bar was good too. loved the bathroom lighting, deco and look too. Ill go back again for sure. The customer service was very good to a high standards. Very welcoming.

The atmosphere and interior is very nice. Lovely Christmas decorations as well. Good food with fast service, Nothing to complain about.

Surprisingly good accommodation. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Decor and furnishings in very good condition. A steal at the price (for London area). Let down by indifferent food offering. Chicken breast was tough as old boots. Salad was insipid. And first time I have ever had a cognac served up in a half pint glass!

Worst experience twice in one week… went last week for a curry night with a friend and ordered 2 curries and 2 sides after missing out on 1 of the sides I had to argue with a waiter that must be incompetent at best as instead of checking the docket thought he would try and tell me what I ordered. Went again last night and yet again no side was given. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

A lovely spacious old fashioned pub, with attentive staff and good prices. Plenty of seating outside and inside with a variety of rooms, and even a fire place. There is minimal parking and some bays reserved for electric cars so coming by car is not recommended, but street parking is possible nearby. I have passed by many times and thought nothing of it but it's a surprising local gem.

Pros: Spacious and nice decor. Open fire. Inexpensive. Cons: Staff seem to keep getting orders wrong. Can feel a little soulless.

Good venue restored in the artdeco style. Good food choices and plenty of drinks on offer. This is a Wetherspoons so your normal offers etc on site. Limited parking is the only downside here. On the plus side it's a nicely finished hotel too.

Have been here a few times since opening. Food is decent. Service is mixed. Most staff seem to be friendly and positive but there are a couple that shouldn't be working in that sort of environment. Can get very busy on the weekend and evenings. Good conversion of the old pub, with an Art Deco theme to the main dining hall.

Huge pub and restaurant. Nicely decorated. Had steak with mushroom, tomato, peas and jacket potato for dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly and the jacket potato was light, fluffy and full of flavour. It just needed a hint of butter and it was perfect! Limited parking available nearby, but managed to find a spot in a residential road not too far away x.

Fantastic pub really great vibe, quite surprising vintage interior unexpected from the clean modern exterior. 10/10 would recommend, only thing — when I spilt my whole new pint, they wouldn't offer a new one, oh well! Buy another good prices.

Lovely historic pub, recently done up. Tasteful, with a unique eye to local history. Service was nice and efficient and the food was lovely. Special deals on each day of the week.

Went here for a birthday party. Been a long while since I was in the area and this is a massive improvement on the old pub. It's a big pub and although you know it won't have music as per the company policy it almost feels like the venue is suited to it. Apart from that it was very good. Maybe a few more parking spaces wouldn't go a miss.

Food was of satisfaction. Bar service was extremely bad… need more staff if you are serving three corners of the bar. Felt as if I was completely ignored. Waited 20 minutes to be served…

My local pub and second home. Staff know me and my family and we love going there. Its a recently refurbished Wetherspoons pub that has been returned to its former glory. It can get very busy and that's when using the Spoons ordering app will come into its own.

Not very busy at our time of visit. Great pub. Been there many times before! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Food was delicious and hot. Never had a bad meal. Good selection of Real Ales. Would highly recommend for a good meal out.

This is the first time I've visited the Greenwood Hotel since it was taken over by J D Wetherspoons, and I have to say they've done an outstanding job of refurbishing and revitalising this public house, it could so easily have been turned into one of those ubiquitous "local" that the big supermarkets think are a good use of these buildings. Well done Wetherspoons for creating a lively, exciting place for the local community. I for one will be going again.

We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy and had lots of great offers. Y superfood salad was lovely with a pretty big portion size for me. My little one was very happy with his menu to colour on with the fab triangle crayons provided. There are several choices as far as which room to dine in depending on how many of you there is and what type of vibe you are after. There is also nice bench seating outside for now the weather is brightening up. I will keep coming back. I've been greeted with great service and lovely food everything. Parking is no trouble as well on the roads around it and in the back for hotel guests.

Restaurant and bar service very good although we visited at peak time. Once the order was placed the food arrived very quickly. Quality value were excellent and you won't beat this anywhere else in london. The adjoining hotel is very modern, clean and like the food fantastic value!

The Greenwood has been very nicely done up and it is a very nice pub. However on this visit the bar was understaffed resulting in long waiting times to be served. When it came to ordering food the (very nice and polite) gentleman who took my order was very unsure of how to use the system and received little help from his colleagues as they were busy due to the aforementioned understaffing issue. It took around half an hour to order 10 meals and one subsequently had to be swapped as it is not served on a Sunday. We were sat in view of the hatch where the food is sent from the kitchen and our food was left to sit on the hotplates for at least 10 minutes before one of our party queried why the food was just being left to sit there and then a member of staff did come over deliver the food to the table. However the top of my curry had gone cold being the at furthest point of contact with the hotplate and one other member of our party had to request a refund for her chicken burger as it was hard. All in all it was a disappointment and not the experience I am used to receiving in a Wetherspoons pub. However I must stress that the staff were impeccable in there attitude and I cannot fault them at all. There is just a limit on how much they can handle and as at least two members (Of 5 that I saw including kitchen staff) appeared to be quite new to the job and weren't being mentored it made it very difficult for them.

Good range of food and drink at very good pricing. You won't find a better value hotel in London either! All the quirk of a boutique hotel, all the assurance of being a chain but the value of a budget. Amazing combo!
