One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. No sleep due to shabby maintenance, broken pipe outside of window allowing a cascade of water to hit the window, so loud you could not sleep. I brought this to their attention in the morning due to it being to late. Although they knocked some money off the bill this did not compensate as upon my return home I had realised that I had left my Jacket behind (due to lack of sleep and not thinking straight) I contacted the hotel to ask for assistance but was told that I would need to speak with the manager who would contact. This call never came although they say they did. I finally got hold of them today 14.01.2020 to ask that they kindly return my jackets and I was greeted with not unless you pay postage and £5 ADMIN! if I had had a good stay I would not have hesitated in paying postage. However, seeing as I had a bad night in substandard accommodation I would not recommend this hotel. Very unhelpful and in my opinion just looking to claw back the part refund as much as they could.
We had a brilliant night last night celebrating New Year Eve with dear friends. The food was delicious and staff were helpful and kind. Resident DJ Darren made the evening great fun and all of us and the guests all joined in to bring in the new decade in style and fun dancing.
