We always go on our trips to London, it is a hotel "English" for those who know what it means and that is there you sleep, you take a shower and if you find a problem just tell the reception and respond. Very nice.

Staff are friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic. That's all this place has going for it though. The inside is falling apart and the stairs are far too narrow and steep with damaged carpets. The breakfast wasn't great either. Glad I didn't spend more then two nights here and I won't be back unless it's massively refurbished.

Bad room. Hotel not arranged. Room Price exaggerated compared to offer.

Bit tired but generally ok. TV worked, kettle and heater in room, bed was comfortable and bedding clean. So alright for the price for a night or two.

Clean budget accommodation with good subway connection.

It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Shower does not use hot water at all because it does not come out at all. Noon stuff was good, but in night, I said about it female stuff. She attitude was terrible. There is no greeting and the attitude to the customer is bad. 『No room, no discount』Unbiliebable. No air conditioner, No hot water. 　I'm going to freeze to death!

Dump. … is a little… really ugly and sporcooooo. Bad I would not recommend it absolutely… abominable Breakfast.

Was very unhappy with our room we had a family room on the ground floor it was cold in the room quite noisy with people walking up and down at late at night. When it came to breakfast it was brought to our room which is fine but not impressed we were served with cold fried eggs and cold toast no milk for our tea or coffee and no plates to eat off. The room was in very poor condition cracks in the walls with the paper coming off a massive crack coming down into a socket which that socket did not work the toilet once flushed if someone else wanted to use it would have to wait a long time to use it the shower room was dirty and very mouldy the bling was covered in mould and broken. We went out for the day I had left bag on the floor that had tissue in it as I needed to put rubbish somewhere we came back in the evening and there were bits of tissue ripped up on the floor looked closer and there were mice droppings on the floor clearly it was not just us in that room. We paid over £200 for 2 nights I get it's a cheap hotel but even then they should keep on top of there maintenance/cleanliness. One part of my job is doing H&S I could of taken a sheet from work and reported so many hazards in that room alone I have no idea of the state of the other rooms although I heard people come down and complain about there water. All in all we won't be visiting again. One positive I can say the receptionist was friendly.

Room not very clean, cold water in the bathroom and shower, radiators and lights went down only after demand, breakfast poor. But stop cheap.

Horrible! At first my brother and I got a room where the electricity didn't work so we were transferred to another room. In the room it was really cold and due to the problem with electricity which was going on and off at all times during the evening the extra hearing provided couldn't really work. The breakfast was a disaster! Absolutely awful. All the dishes which were meant to be warm were COLD! The table cloths were partly dirty! Never again! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Room in bad condition, shower and toilet dirty, single glazing, cracked glass! We had taken a studio room with kitchenette to be able to prepare for food but we did not dare to see the state of the kitchen and utensils.

We had a huge room with full bathroom, kitchen with oven, todtadora and microwave, fridge, and the biggest beds I have ever seen. And very well located!

The rooms are very small (my bed was basically in the bathroom! ) my room was on the 3rd floor, there is no elavator and the stairs are very not safe to climb, especially with loggeges. The rooms are not cleaned until the 3rd day. And hot water are not always available.

Close to the London center, and everything starts and Portobeloho road.

Typical London hotel… A few steps from Hyde Park. Pretty good location.

A nice, if small hotel near Bayswater underground station and a 10-15 minute walk to Paddington. The place is in need of refurbishment and the rooms are small, but that's not the fault of the staff who were helpful throughout. The free breakfast isn't extensive — two types of cereal, milk, orange juice, a few types of bread, a container of microwaved beans, two types of scrambled eggs and some (quite nice) pancakes. If you're looking for a cheap stay close to the tube, this plane will more than do for you.

My girlfriend took a trip to this hotel on 12th November 2017 within 45 mins she wanted another hotel as this was horrific standards for its price she wanted her money back and they would not give it her the reception guy was not being helpful he just put his head on him arm thinking it would go away he said he could not give her money back the pictures reflect this hotel. There was semen on the floor. All kinds of hair in the bed the other girls in this party found needles in their beds so this is the standard in the pictures not like the website all these pictures were taken within 45 mins of arrival they did not stay and did not get refunded.

I really liked the very friendly staff. It is close to metro, Hide park, Notting Hill, souvenir shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants very good…

For London whole, OK. The hotel is like a maze.

Very dirty and degrading, friendly staff always present.

Old Hotel, dirty room with beds old, you beat the docks, the window was broken and wouldn't close, yet we do not spend cold, the heating worked well. Stairs narrow and old, does not have a lift, do not go with large suitcases. The better the location and the friendly staff. Would not stay here if I could avoid it.

A bit dated, shower to check out as a lot of water loss. Otherwise well located staff considerate close to a street where there is a lot of restaurant. 5 min A.

In a njce area but hotel is very old with small old rooms and a bit dirty. Breakfast was included and was quite good. Very close to metro station abkut a 2 min walk.

It's unlikely that I will return here. Even though the breakfast is decent and way better than in other hotels I've stayed in, the room I was assigned was little more than the space of the bed and the closet. The window didn't shut thoroughly, which resulted in cold air right next to the bed. The staff was mostly friendly and I got additional pillows after asking, but unfortunately I still cannot recommend this hotel — even around 50 £ don't compensate for the less than enjoyable experience.

Convenient price. Convenient location. Breakfast included.

Bad, rooms with curtains that fall there are no cupboards, I do not recommend!

STAY FAR AWAY! I would rate it 0 stars but Google Reviews won't let me. So unhappy, did not even stay there 5 minutes without feeling so clogged up (I am allergic to dust), had a look at the bathroom and the bottom of the shower was mouldy and so was the shower curtain. The toilet was also so small even a child would feel uncomfortable. Before arriving I was not informed that it was not suitable for someone who couldn't lug a full suitcase or bags up several flights of stairs to get to their room (No lifts! ) — I have issues with my back and legs, but even someone who hasn't would find this very difficult. The room was more than unpleasant — from the bed to the outdated decor and the walls not even been painted properly, and the fact that you can hear absolutely everything in the corridor and other rooms on the floor. I am kicking myself for booking this Hotel Nightmare I felt like I was on an episode and Gordon Ramsey was going to shine a UV Blue Light and see an absolute horror around the room. Didn't stay with the 2 nights I had booked (which is so expensive for what you get! ) Been told that I cannot receive a complete or even half refund for it even though me and my daughter did not stay longer than 20 minutes there. Wish I checked Google reviews earlier — WILL NOT BE MAKING THIS MISTAKE AGAIN!

Filthy, full of mildew, hair on the floor, carpet encrusted, heating via electric heater not to standard, rude and arrogant staff. Precarious hygienic conditions that in Italy would not allow the opening.

Very bad and poor breakfast, this hotel is safe for the location close to the metro and the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff.

It was a nice hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to restaurants, stores and two underground stations.

Don't get me wrong… pay £40 in London for a three bed room, with breakfast included, and you're not going to be in the lap of luxury. However, the owners don't seem to have a lot of love for this crumbling hotel. The room: — the shower compartment was tiny and I had to crouch to fit under it — the beds were a little hairy (not my hair) — the floor was slanted — coffee and tea in the room — No kettle included — mattresses filled with noisy springs and not particularly comfortable Breakfast: — cold pizza segments for breakfast — instant coffee in small sachets — no range of food and the breakfast room is stuck down in the basement It's a real shame that they don't shell out some money on this place because the staff were lovely. Definitely not a place to take your loved one or family for a special trip to London. More suited to those wanting to spend the least amount of money possible and who don't enjoy staying in hostels. Finally… the plus points: — friendly and helpful staff — decent location — good street view — Wi-Fi access.

We had no cold water which made showering difficult (without being burned) and it wasn't fixed over the three days. But otherwise the location was great, the breakfast was yummy and the staff seemed nice (providing room service upon request). Oh, and a vocabulary difference is we were told that room service was not everyday. But then we realized room service meant housekeeping. Which was just a funny misunderstanding.

Dirty, absolute degradation bad breakfast.

Receptionist was very kind and helpful, however room was very rundown and had a strange and strong smell-maybe because of the filthy carpet; bathroom very small and its cleanliness was also very poor. I will not return here.

There wasn't hot water most of the time of the day. Very small room and we had to ask if we would like to have it cleaned. Quite expensive.

Ok… this Hotel can better close because nothing was good here. Every thing is dirty en broken the show er curtain was disgusting and the breakfast was actually no breakfast… I will never go to this place again and no one should ever go here.

Consider going homeless before staying here. Poor service with a dirty room falling apart. Only good thing is free Wi-Fi, which you get on the street in London these days anyway.

Very overpriced, need of a big renovation, poor Breakfast.

Great place to stay. I was these for three nights. The underground is just two minutes away from the hotel. Hotel is great itself. Check in was quick and I was in my room soon. Room was clean and comfy. Excellent service, breakfast etc. Wish to stay again there.

Excellent hotel, I was given a very swift check-in staff at front desk was very professional and helpful. I was even given free 24 hours internet and breakfast was included in price. Very convinent location walking distance to metro, shops, parks and close to central London. Rooms very good size with free tea and coffee facilities, en-suite with good size and comfortable and clean beds. I really enjoyed good night sleep. Hotel was very nice have good standards at very reasonable prices.

Shocking — when I saw the room was me evil… Then an even worse I was offered. Tatty, eckl-bathroom, torn curtains. It remained nothing more me than to look for a new hotel on the other side of the road. Unfortunately, I had paid the four nights already. For me the white leaf hotel is an imposition and an absolute no go! Except charges nothing happened — damn!

Absolutely avoid! Bad accommodation. Breakfast is an imposition. Everything else can be only better. Even half of the price would be too expensive. It is cramped, noisy and grubby.

I chose the hotel because of its location, right by the subway, and because of the cheap price.
Actually, we had booked the family room for 6 people. Because there had been a double booking but we got room for the same price a 2 and a 4. The man at the front desk was very friendly and out — and check-in was very quick. Also we were supplied with maps of the city immediately.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were very narrow and steep, but it hasn't done anything for us. While the hotel is nothing for cleanliness fanatics, because there is carpeting, but the rooms were clean and equipped with WC and shower. There was enough hot water to shower knows, and the water pressure has also fitted. 4-room had only a very small closet, but we were only three and that we could use the 4th bed super as storage space and we had no space problem. The double room was spacious and had also a larger wardrobe. There were fresh towels and bath towels in the rooms and also a kettle, cups, black tea, milk and sugar. The towels, and tea accessories were renewed every day and even our beds were made.
When we came in the evening to go home on the first day, we were pretty durchgefrohren and in the rooms, it was also cold because we have not thought of the radiators to turn up when we left the hotel. Our wish was fulfilled immediately after extra blankets and the tip it was stubbornly abgeleht.

Entered as I the rooms I, was I thinking: "Shit where you ended up doing! "
I have me looking for other hotel rooms made and "the Phoenix hotel" found near where I felt also very comfortable.
I would not recommend the Whiteleaf hotel.
