An experience I want to repeat. Unique hotel, an oasis of tranquil beauty, the plants amazing and felt like staying in a tropical haven. Breakfast a treat on the tastebuds, must visit in summer!

Such a hip hotel and the staff are so warm and friendly and we were looked after by Juan at Yopo who knew the menu inside out we took his recommendations and the food and service was outstanding! We can’t wait to return xxx.

You would need to have a good knowledge about plants folklore, myths, magic and the history of healing plants to be able to appreciate the source of inspiration for the decor, the alchemy of botanical cocktails and multi-sensory experience at The Mandrake Hotel. The vast majority of hotels at the price level of the mandrake are distinction on in their appearance however they are an inspiring creatively desolate. They are lifeless more worryingly soulless. However The mandrake is incredible it flies in the face of everything that one normally expect from the hotel at this price point.

I was here last week with my mum and we’ve been in Terrace room. The Hotel was absolutely spectacular! From the moment we got inside, we were welcomed with a smiling staff that helped us with our luggage and brought us some welcome drinks. The reception looked like a scene from some magical movie. I don’t know what we liked more: the ambience, the kind staff or our beautiful room with a lovely terrace.
In the evening we went to the hotel bar to drink some cocktails, we tried a few different ones and we loved them all. I would definitely recommend this place, the location is amazing, close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Can’t wait to come here again! :)

Discrete hotel in London, very unique in London. They have an amazing balcony with an amazing view of flowers draping from the other balconies, makes you think you are not in London. The room was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast was mouthwatering. Best poached eggs I’ve had and the hotel staff were fast and very friendly.

Location — super well connected. You can walk from the hotel to everywhere and the tube station is near by. Room — clean and well designed. But could be a bit noisy during weekend due to their bars. Breakfast — the best if you want to have clean and high quality meal (but small quantity).

Beautiful new hotel in Fitzrovia — just off Oxford Street. There's a beautiful bar and courtyard to have drinks, and it's great. Cocktails are yummy, there's lots of quirky rooms (like the library) to have quieter meetings as well. It's not a super busy place, so it's perfect place to have a catch up with friends.

For art lovers and those looking for an escape, this is the perfect place to hide! No one will know what is behind the dark black doors. Excellence ambiance, great service and good food. The perfect recipe for a sweet escape through the magic portal. With love for Mandrake!

We have just returned to Spain after a four night stay in this beautiful hotel.
From being greeted at the entrance with a smiling and beautifully dressed doorman to every single member of the staff it was possibly the best service we have ever received.
The absolutely beautiful design and artistic interpretations are something so very special.
As to the wonderful hanging jasmine and greenery everywhere one walks…
it was hard to remember just how close Oxford street was.
So thank you once again Mandrake for making my husbands birthday extra special.

This hotel is a perfect place for a romantic getaway in the city. It is very central and close to everything. I just love the design and decoration of the hotel which reminds me of Moroccan places. They have a lovely terrasse too. Their restaurant is fantastic too with a great variety of vegetarian food. Highly recommended!

A hidden meeting and drinking place in central London, where you can enjoy outstanding interior layouts with thoughtful details, most importantly you can meet cool people too! Highly recommend.

A stunning hotel with attentive and friendly staff. The location is perfect for central and especially Oxford street and Soho. This hotel is very reasonable priced considering the pure luxury and grandeur of it. The rooms are large and the decor is on point. Great bar to top it all off. With patio furniture and plants hanging through the centre, you almost forget you are in the middle of the city. Cool, chic, elegant and understated.

The Mandrake is a very unique, inspiring and quite exclusive boutique hotel, bar and mini-club (on Fridays and Saturdays). Reason for the 3 stars is the rather slow service and the poor attitude that comes with it from staff. Yes, Fridays and Saturdays are rather demanding days, things get busy and it's rather difficult for staff to navigate through the masses and orders; why not regulate how many on guests can get to the bar or hire more staff… or, just be friendly and courteous about it. More often than not, I feel I am inconveniencing staff with my order (which usually is a simple Scotch or Bourbon w/o ice). It comes out to about 1 every 40-55 minutes anyhow given at the speed of service (and it's turn-around). As for the facilities, they're immaculate. Even the common bathrooms are impeccably clean. Same goes for the hotel portion, never had an issue with any of the rooms I've stayed in, just the service.

Wooooow! Decoration and design is amazing here. The concept is amazing. I had such a good time in the bar Other a nice cocktail (very unusual one) I totally recommend this crazy place.

The best place to escape the grey London and have some delicious food and cocktails! The inside garden and the terrace upstairs are definitely the place to hang out this spring coming.

Hotel was incredible! Just Sitting in the restaurant feeling very satisfied & impressed by an amazing breakfast. Hotel is very exclusive & attention to detail is immaculate, they’ve really focused on the things that matter. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Room was clean, fresh & stylish with a very impressive wash & shower area. Definitely worth a night here.
