First class service, nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was as advertised, plus a choice of food & drinks at breakfast. Would certainly book again.

Lovely hotel located in a nice place. Perfect and kind service. I recommend their continental breakfast. The room was extremely clean. I cannot ask for more.

We stayed there for 9 nights. Room is fairly small but clean, the owner was friendly. Breakfast was essential but not too many variety. There are so many hotels in the same street, I may check out others next time.

I've very much enjoyed my stay at the Star Hotel. The rooms, while "cozy" are fabulously clean. I have loved the complementary breakfast each morning and the location is perfect, as it is just a short 10 minute walk to the Tube or a 15 minute walk to the Westfield Shopping center. This family run Bed and Breakfast is HIGHLY recommended.

Overall great experience. Rooms are a bit small, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is good. Friendly staff. Easy to reach from Heathrow Airport. Reasonable pries. Can absolutely recommend.

I don’t understand how does this hotel have such a high rating! It’s a terrible hotel with no noise control. I got a street facing single room and couldn’t sleep even for a minute. Made requests to the front desk to change my room, but they didn’t oblige neither they allowed me to cancel the booking offering no return of respite! The rooms are so tiny that even your luggage won’t fit in, no elevator so drag your luggage up as they won’t give you ground floor rooms. No safety locker, bare minimum amenities. It’s better to stay in a hostel with bunk beds than to sleep in a single room here! Terrible experience and sleepless nights.

Luigi the manager is great. The family lived there. He is very helpful. They remodeled this old Victorian over 8 years, finishing in December. The double room was small and could use more hooks to hang things. But it was lovely otherwise, and the bed comfortable. The shower is new and lovely. Breakfast buffet is included. This hotel is in Hammersmith, west of the City, but easy to get around on the Tube. It is a rather busy street, but I’m sure that is true of most hotels in London.

This newly renowated hotel offers nice rooms and extremely polite staff. The rooms and espesially the twinroom beds aren't too big, but at least the quality is good. Early breakfast times and lack of warm food & greens is a pity as well as early check-out & late check-in times.

Initially, we stayed 3 nights at Star Hotel & later we decided to extend 6 more nights. Book directly through Star Hotel web site can save £££! Room & toilet are spick & span, including breakfast room too! The place is cosy & comfortable. Owner & staff are kind & friendly. There is a chinese takeaway restaurant, post office & Tesco supermarket just opposite the hotel. Hammersmith station is just a 10 minute walk away. Direct tube from Hammersmith station to Heathrow Airport. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel.

Phenomenal little hotel right on the Piccadilly and District tube lines — easy access to central London, but peace and quiet when you're ready for it. Free breakfast is included with the price of your room. Clean, comfortable — overall, just a gem.

Perfect place to stay for couple of nights! Breakfast could be a little later, but still nice. Shining-clean and very well located.

Very pleasant stay. The hosts are very kind and caring. Location is good, not far from metro and bus stops. Breakfast was nice. Bedroom was very clean. Sound isolation could be better.

Room every corner is not generally clean, is particularly clean, beyond the vast majority of the hotel, every day will clean up the house. Breakfast is only a variety of bread, jam, cheese, ham, drinks, snacks, yogurt, fruit and vegetable butter.
But the bread is delicious, the other taste is also very good, the service staff can heat bread and so on, can let the waiter help make coffee, tea and so on.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helped me with my luggage.
The bed is soft and resilient, not soft tiresome kind, is a good bed.
Stairs may not be very suitable for Chinese people (most hotel stairs are like this), but there are carpeted floors.
There are charging jacks and small desk lamps, bedside lights on both sides of the bedside of the double room, a USB charging socket at the table and a socket suitable for each country charger.
Windows can be opened very large (rare in the UK), and heating can adjust its own power. Can feel really very for the sake of the guests, the price relative to this position and quality is really appropriate.

A fantastic choice to visit London. The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. The breakfast is more than correct and the price super competitive. It is very well connected to central London and in the area there are supermarket, shops and restaurants. Thanks to Daniel for his attention… in Spanish, lol. It makes it much easier for us to not really dominate the language. If I go back to London this hotel will be my choice, no doubt.

We had a four night stay. Excellent. Clean and comfortable well maintained ensuite room with comfortable bed. Friendly staff and owners. They go the extra mile including gluten free breakfast for my wife! We will return in future.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel! Luigi and Elaine who run the hotel are the nicest, friendliest people who make you feel very welcome! I had to come and go 3 times and was able to leave my big suitcase there! The rooms were super clean and some more spacious than others! Breakfast was great and a real bonus! Location fantastic for getting around London! Will definitely be back to stay on a return trip to London!

This is a really good hotel that we found last minute. It is clean, the rooms have enough space, and the hotel staff is very nice. The road is a bit noisy but we are in a big city so I can't expect much different. Having a nice stay!

Would recommend. Stayed in a family room (one double and two single beds) with my family of four. Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff! Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Free Wifi (with good connection! ) Cons: no elevators, so you`re going to have to carry your bags to your room. Not close to the underground (though its not to much of a problem, about a 10 min walk)

The Hotel is absolutely super. Rooms very clean, bathroom also. The bed is mega comfortable! Free Wi-Fi. Very nice helpful people. Breakfast for me was good (yoghurt, cereal, Toast, bread, sweet bread, sausage, cheese)
Ok for the it, there could be like fruit, eggs and bacon, but for the price absolutely top. Connection to the ground in a maximum of 10 min. Will definitely come back again if the price stays that way :)

This hotel staff is the best staff. They were eager to help us. Because of flight problem, we are late, but Luigi at 3 in the morning to greet us! From the hotel, 20 minutes by subway to get to London City Centre (from the subway to the hotel only need to walk 7 minutes). Breakfast very good, gave us a day of a good start!

The B&B is from the property of her super, just the Breakfast is capable of expansion, since there are neither eggs, fresh fruit or vegetables.

OK, this review is quite late. We got home from our Europe trip, and got busy. I’ll bet Luigi thought I forgot. My family of five; me, my wife, two teenage girls, and mother-in-law, stayed at the Star Hotel for 4 nights in July. Let me just start with this, Luigi, you did a great job, please extend my thanks to your wife, your sister and the rest of your staff. Both my wife and I had been to London on business, but this was our first trip to London for vacation. On business, we simply booked where our companies advised. For vacation, we wanted bed and breakfast style accommodations. We wanted it to be close to the Tube, and reasonably priced. We got all three from the Star Hotel. The communication with Luigi and Stefania before we arrived was excellent. They advised me that the hotel was “European” style. That meant smaller rooms as compared to U. S. Style rooms, and no lift / elevator. We booked two rooms for the five of us. Yes, the rooms were small, but not that small. I am a big guy, and the room was fine. Besides, we were not there to hang out in the hotel. We were there to take in London. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Our rooms were on the ground floor, so the lift was not an issue for us. The breakfast room was nice, and just what I had envisioned in my mind. The food was plentiful, and well prepared. The hotel is about 3 blocks from the Hammersmith Tube station. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk. The area is safe.

Nice Hotel with nice Rooms and very friendly staff. They help where they can! A big plus is the free WLAN. The breakfast is good and you can get as much as you like. I am sorry there was no british breakfast anymore the last time I was there (Winter 2010/11), but you get toast, croissants, marmelade, jam, butter, macroons, tea, coffee, etc.
