If I could give zero stars I would. I arrived at 10:40 at night and they had no room for me due to a “maintenance issue”. Mind you they hadn’t tried to contact me about this prior to my arrival. They put me up in their sister hotel 5km away in Kings Cross which was small and stuffy with no ventilation. AVOID! It also looks like I’m not the first person this has happened to, seems like they have a tendency to overbook and bus people out to less popular hotels in their chain.

We were pleasantly surprised despite some comments. Certainly it is not the Hilton but for the price and its location, it is definitely worth it. The room was clean and large enough for two people. Toilet and bathroom in the room. Kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Only downside, poorly insulated. We heard the people on the top walking and the people in the adjoining rooms talking. Shops and restaurants right next door. Bus and Metro stop is a 3-minute walk away. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Be careful if you have large luggage as a narrow staircase. Ideal hotel for small stay.

Cheap hotel near Paddington Station. We stayed for a few hours after we checked out of our Airbnb and needed a place to keep our luggage that was close to the airport express train. It was cheaper to rent a room than to pay for luggage storage for a day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was very small, bathroom barely big enough to take a shower. Sheets and towels were clean. Room decor dismal.

Very small Hotel, dirty, sloppy has not been given maintenance in years, full of rubbish at the entrance, it is very expensive for the service that lends.

I'm giving this 5 stars because we had ZERO issues with our stay. We had room 405 and it was fine for what we paid. Is it dated… yup. Is it clean… yup. Would I stay here again… yup. If we had room 405 I would be satisfied. It's four flights up a tight turning staircase. If you have big luggage you WILL have a difficult time going up these stairs. We have carry on luggage for our trip and it was fine. We stayed 7 days and it was fine. We opened the window at night because it got stuffy in the room. It was in 50's outside and it was warm in the room. Our shower always had VERY HOT water.

We chose to give this hotel a chance despite negative reviews on Google, we did well!
We were looking for a cheap and well placed place, this is the case of this hotel. Our room was clean, not very large but we had enough room for our business so no problem.
The staff are friendly and accommodating.
We took our breakfasts at the hotel, the continental buffet was enough for us, and it is not expensive.
In short, very happy, we were able to enjoy the London that we wanted without ruining, we keep the address!

I am staying in this dirty hotel. Nothing nice to say about this place.

Good location. But not very clean. Very badly isolated. We wait for the people from the top walk and the people from the room to rate talk. The heater doesn't settle. And not even 1 bottle of water in the room…

Unorganized, dirty, dusty, old, gave me insecure feeling, the worst hotel ever in London. So many mistake like they gave me wrong room which there were still guests inside. And much more that ai had to leave earlier than check out time. Definitely not go there ever again.

The place is very cosy and clean. The prices are good and the location is near many restaurants, gift shops, small markets and metro stations. The only downside is the lack of a minibar in the room.

A disaster. Stay away.

Several bites this morning, face neck and arms. No hot water either, although I did have to leave at 5am, I suppose the water heater is on a timer.

The location is great. Close to the train station and Hyde Park. You don't have to walk far for great cafes and bars. The staff are very friendly but the hotel itself is a little grubby. Our room was really small (like areoplane sized bathroom) and could have been cleaner. But hey, it was affordable. I'd steer clear of the breakfast. It was a strange combo of cornflakes, toast, sad looking olives and tinned pineapple. We ended up going to nearby cafes anyway, so save your money. If you're not into stairs, make that known before you get there. We had to tackle approx 90 narrow steps to our room on the top floor.

Not a great place, there was four flights of narrow stairs to climb to get to our room, we had a bathroom supposedly in our room but it was actually across the hall from the room. Also everybody had access. The room was clean except for that silly runner thing that they put on the bed as a decoration — that was covered in God knows what. There were tea/coffee facilities in the room but there was no socket nearby the tray to plug in the kettle. So you have to balance the tray on your pillow and plug it in at the rand of the bed. Staff were nice but couldn't deal with my queries. The shower room barely fit a single person. The bedroom itself was tiny and the for could not even open to 90 degrees and the was no room for our two Ryanair size suitcases. Synopsis — stay here if there are absolutely no other rooms in Paddington.

I just got here and I don't like it. I went to take a shower and it was a tremendous dissapointment to see that the faucet was spraying all the water to the glass door. So to basically to be under the water either you are really tall or you just get super close to the door. Also the size of the room (a double) and the bathroom were incredibly small. The carpet floor in the room had multiple spots as well as the walls. Some screws were coming out of the bathroom floor division. We where placed on the 4th floor (5th for americans) and there is no elevator. I think this hotel has lots of work to do for better service.

Pathetic Hotel. Paint chipped, low walls unsanitary, bathroom ridicule, poor cleanliness due to an aged and unserviced room. Even the professionalism of the receptionist cannot succeed in making up for the catastrophic state of the establishment.
It is not in my habits to misunderstand but in this case, this establishment is simply to flee. Clearly a mistake of course in my travels.

Despite the bad reviews we read about this hotel, we decided to give it a try and make a reservation through their website, as for £ 55 bed and breakfast we found it to be very good value. We had booked a room with a double bed and separate bathroom, which we found (and was) rather smaller than the one shown on the pictures on their website. Even so, the room was very bright, clean and had TV and free Wi-Fi, which we appreciated a lot. The breakfast is basic and very limited, and consists simply of cereals, some fruit, cheese, bread, jams and little else. Even so, we were satisfied. What we liked most about this hotel is its location (just steps from Paddington Tube Station) and the staff, who were friendly and helpful to us.

Fairly comfy bed, but no aircon and had music being played very very loud outside until late.

Horrible place. Not geting Wi-Fi s in side room and when I informed they don't care about that. Customers satisfaction are nothing.

Small, clean, cosy and friendly Hotel. Can you in good conscience recommend it more.

Good hotel for travellers! Very nice staff.

For under £60 it was clean and tidy. I had a basement room but was it was perfectly agreeable. Woken by the tube which was probably a few metres under the bedroom.

Nice and polite staff. Problems: 4th floor without elevator and NO warning when reservation was made. Room with private toilet outside the room. Also no warning on reservation.

Gripes: • The walls are thin. • The common areas and rooms each have unique, unpleasant smells. Mildew, mold, vomit, etc. • A lot of the interior is broken or nonsensical (the pipes of my shower head were just loosely in a hole in the wall and there was no inside know in the bathroom, for example). • Rooms are too small. That being said, you have to admire how well the architect made use of the space. • Furniture is too large for the room size Pros: GREAT location. 1 block from the tubes and there's a great cafe just down the street for a delicious breakfast. Overall the whole thing just feels like it's fallen too far into disrepair. Management please perform renovations.

Location and price is great, but the rooms are tiny, not very clean and the breakfast is not even worth it. Staff is very friendly though.

We liked it so much, the reviews should be for long because this renovated and the service was very good, a good cheap hotel in London.

The review of this hotel will end in one sentence 'LOOK OUT FOR THE BEDBUGS' it is not a joke! really horrible.

The hotel is full of shit. Costs more than the other, uncomfortable rooms, furniture old and falling apart. And about the breakfast I do molchu. Nice ambience, Hindus arrogant and lazy. It is better to travel further — and cheaper will succeed and more comfortable conditions.
