It was great for what I paid for it. Bed was comfy. Room was tiny but I was only there for a night. Would recommend if you have to get an early train and need somewhere just to sleep.

Was sent here from SO Paddington due to overbooking, which seems common for this chain. Room was very small, dated and super stuffy. Had to open the window but the street noise was high. Not far from the station and buses but not super close to the station in the rain! When I arrived I was told I couldn’t check out early and get my money back, even though I hadn’t booked this hotel and was sent there! But the receptionist in the morning was much nicer and sympathetic and I did end up getting my money back.

It does the job just for a night. I stayed in a single room which is small but enough for a night. Bed was comfy and the room had a kettle with coffee and tea etc. The shower was pretty good although small. Overall it is a very basic hotel. Really convenient foe kings cross travel. Just 5 minute walk from the station. The staff at the hotel are also very nice. My only complaints are it could do with a bedside table and somewhere to hang the towel in the bathroom after using it. Also my room was a little noisy on a Saturday night because it's not got double glazing however despite that it was nice and warm considering it was snowing outside. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay near kings cross.

Most of the reviews are correct. The hotel is clean which is the most important in my books. However the rooms are basic, and Street noise is high. However I think the hotel has made the best of the location and premises it has. Staff work hard to be helpful and friendly. So for a budget hotel in a very convenient location this is good choice. However just because of the size and basic room I would only want to stay a night or two. Didn't see a lift so if you are not good with stairs you may have difficulties.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in the beginning of May 2018. This hotel was really nice for a couple just looking for a clean, safe place to stay with great access to the city. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our bags after checkout for a late flight out. The rooms are very tiny, but if you're looking to simply use the room to sleep and shower, it's perfect. They provide a kettle for tea, toiletries, and daily housekeeping. I would highly recommend this hotel. You get what you pay for!

Tiny room for a tiny price, window could not be opened, and the exhaust system was defective, thus, it was wet after the showers permanently. There is also a plastic Cup under the bed. All in all, it was not a pleasant stay but for the price and more than sufficient, who is looking for a place to Stay for a short trip in London is right here.

The Hotel is super located. The rooms are really very very small, but to Stay there is sufficient. Unfortunately, our Windows were not open so that the humidity of the shower could get out of the bathroom, and the Windows were completely wet. We would not go back.

It Is a quiet and central place just to sleep if you rest.

For the price it has it's a good choice. Clean and well communicated. The rest Is very decadent.

Positive points : 1) friendly helpful staff, 2) close to train stations. Negative points : can t really call it a hotel! Tiny rooms, uncomfortable bed, extremely noisy street (should bring ear plugs to sleep), no heating (had to ask for electric heater). Could only bear it 1 night. Choose if totally desperate.

True bad it true dirty and the heaters were glued there was no staff and the staff true even over wahtsapp reachable floor has wobbled and windows were not dense as true it in December at night very cold.

Room was so small. The door to my room could not open all the way due to the bed being in the way. Very hot and humid in there as well. Cleanliness was not great.

I booked a single room for one night. Chose this hotel because of the price and the location. Was happy it was only for one night. I mean the bed was OK comfortable, bathroom OK. But there was this huge hot water tube running through my room making it extremely warm and unfit as a bedroom.

This is a bare bones hotel. The room is tiny and they don't even provide soap in the room. However, it was quiet and fairly well located for me. You get what you pay for and I would say this is slightly overpriced for what you get.

Tiny rooms and very noisy. Windows don't close properly, therefore draughty and no noise insulation. This is facing a busy road, so don't expect much sleep. In winter it must also be quite cold. Double room is already small for a single person. Shower looks modern but doesn't work properly. The only thing deserving a star is the location close to tube (subway) and kings cross train station. don't stay for more than one night and don't spend too much. (unfortunately I had pre-booked for several nights at a high price).

Location was great. Very short walk from the station. Basically accomodation which is great for staying somewhere cheap while working in central London.

Very nice, helpful and polite staff. Comfortable beds, small rooms, but very clean. Perfect price-performance ratio.

Awful area full of drug addicts. Hotel front door left unlocked 24/7. Did not feel safe. Noisy road. Speeding cars and noise all night long. Tiny room akin to prison cell.

Small rooms, cheap, great location, average bathroom.

This hotel was acceptable for the price, but I wouldn't stay for more than a night. The best part is the convenient location to train stations and tube. However, there were a few problems — staff have forgotten to supply soap to the room; the sink was super tiny; we had to shower with cold water, etc. Also, the bathroom didn't have proper shades, so it was possible to peak inside.

Fantastic value. Find another place at that price with a shower in the room. It was clean and quiet and a perfect place to crash. Awesome location next to the train and a bunch of other stuff around. There was also a cell phone in the room that you can take with you for internet and making calls. This was the greatest thing I have ever seen in a hotel and I wish everywhere had them. Id even be willing to throw down a couple hundred dollar deposit. The reception lady was very nice and helpful and an Eastern European dude was super cool and gave us some local suggestions. If you stay here go to King Charles Pub for a pint! We will definitely be back.

The location is central enough, with easy access to the city centre. The room I stayed in was clean and decent. Good value for money. Wireless was a bit hit and miss in the evening.

I didn't actually get to stay in the Hotel. I had booked a room for two nights. Then my plans changed and I only needed the first night. I went to amend my booking and couldn't see how. I was within the 48hrs of free cancellation so I decided to cancel that booking and re-book for just the one night (the first of the two) — However I received an instant email telling me that I was being charged for the original two nights in full. After many conversations, all calm via both email and phone they refused to refund or re-instate the booking — I would have to pay again if I wanted a night with them. I truly wish I hadn't been considerate in trying to let them know that I wouldn't be there for the 2nd night. They promised the manager would call me — they didn't — they were unhelpful and in all honesty it is the worst experience I have had with a hotel chain or business ever. Very sad. Not angry — Just disappointed. UPDATE: After fruitless polite but frustrating calls with the hotel — no resolution. Add to that the fact that the hotel took the money from an account that without authority (The account had been removed from my booking and replaced with another). This is now being reported to the correct financial disputes departments.

For a city hotel is okay. Fie rooms are very very small, for two people just fine. The staff is very nice and helpful. On comfort and luxury you have here but completely do without.

Bed Bugs infestation! My stay in this Hotel was a nightmare! :/ Stay away!
