I wish I would have researched the area before booking. This hotel was in a bad area and I certainly didn't feel comfortable walking from the train station at night so I left the good areas of London before it got dark. Since the tube station is an 8 minute walk from the hotel. The London City Center is a 45 minute train ride! Breakfast was terrible and awful for a breakfast buffet which was not an English Breakfast especially since this is England. You can tell all the food was deep fried or cooked in the microwave. Only apples available at breakfast please provide a variety such as bananas, oranges, apples and grapes. They need more breakfast drink options than just tea, coffee and orange juice for someone who has dietary issues. The hotel room bathrooms are old and outdated with mold present. Shower is old and outdated with mold present. The shower head needs to be replaced since it was hard to take a shower without being in there for a long time so that you actually feel clean from head to toe. No Air Conditioning in room which made me super mad cause I have allergies and this was in late July so don't stay here in May to August. Noise from outside at night was uncomfortable and unsettling with people yelling constantly or playing very loud music. Bed was comfortable but bedding and pillowcases need to be washed and dried on a regular basis everyday and need to be replaced with fresh clean ones. No blow-dryer for drying hair. No complimentary shampoo or conditioner only a bar of soap. No curtains in room for privacy just broken window blinds which let in unwanted light at night from cars and sun in the morning. Staff didn't seem to care about hotel guest concerns. This is not a 3 Star hotel, it is a 2 star hotel with very horrible service and will overcharge you. The only good things about the hotel are the TV channels were excellent and it has a lift and stairs.
