Review of Pure CityStay Hammersmith 3*

One of the worst student accomodations in London. The rooms were filthy when I checked-in so I had to clean everything myself. The management staff do not take responsibility for anything at all. All the facilities they claim to have are all lies. Nothing is kept nowhere near clean. The couches are sticky and god knows how many bacteria and infections they carry. The noise from the train is unbearable. You can close the window during the winter but in the summer if you do that you might get asphyxiated. I will not even bother talking about the lifts because there are basically no lifts in this building. They will lie and tell you that the lifts are broken, but they have been like that for two years or even more; so what they do is they turn the power off so they do not have to pay for the energy. They will charge you more for a room that is on the upper floors, but then they will not care if you have to climb nine floors to get to your room or carry suitcases. They will let anyone enter your room at any time and steal money, or even your personal belongings. They will lock you out of your room for a day just so they can let in their workers to steal stuff. No one cares if you have to study on that exact day, because no one will ever listen to you. You will constantly have to listen to noises from neighbouring rooms because they change their bathroom floors every year, maybe even twice a year. The laundry room is a joke. The washing machines are never working and even when they are, they are not working properly. I had a £460 t-shirt get ruined by one of the machines. Do not expect anyone to help you with anything, especially the staff. They will just ignore you. I cannot even describe the state of this place in words, and I have written about just some of the things that I find most appalling. But there is so much more to this place. It is literally ‘hell on earth’. Just read some of the other reviews that are not actually written by the staff. Do yourself a favour and never step foot in this place. Forget about this place. I made the biggest mistake deciding to stay here.
