Basic rooms but cheap and convenient for early train from Euston or Kings Cross.

I loved this place. Comfy bed, fridge, and great atmosphere. Even with a shared bathroom, I recommend and will stay again!

I stopped off for a couple of pints here. Friendly staff and a handy location. A wider range of lagers would be good, but overall a nice pub.

Stayed here for one night. Very convenient for Euston station. Room was above the pub. Staff were friendly. Food was nice and good atmosphere.

Great place. My only complaint is that the place was absolutely packed and there were only 2 staff working the bar. They did a great job but no matter how hard they worked 2 people couldn't keep up with the large number of punters that night and the wait to be served was painfully long.

A traditional pub that has a decent bar and seating area for drinking in. Drinks are a notch above acceptable in terms of price but the staff are friendly enough and quick to serve.

The atmosphere was good and there’s a nice feel about the place. I visited about 5pm midweek and the clientele was predominantly people having afterwork drinks and food. The service was done with a smile and the beer was good. Overall this boozer is a good all rounder. Information correct on visiting 15/11/17

A very comfort hostel and awarm pub, facilities are new and are maintained well, you get valaue for your money.

My favourite Pub in the Euston area. No TVs, no sports, so it isn't too noisy in there. From Monday — Thursday they have also meal deals (food + drink) for £9.90, which are great, especially Burgers on Monday. Just 4**** as they don't accept cards for bills less than £5, meaning you need to buy 2 pints, or go for the more expensive option.

I have only visited for drinks and the pub is fine and warm. Now, the decoration is a little ridiculous, but that's a matter of taste. The staff is fine and the prices are normal. It is really cool it's next to the station.

Terrible management. Do not book a room here or book a function, you'll be let down when they deceive you. One of the bar staff fellas carries a knife on him and pulled it out to attack one of the bar staff girls recently! Luckily he got arrested whilst on duty.

Started out as a disaster. As do most of my most treasured relationships. 10:00 AM: We arrive from train station. Thought this was a normal hotel, but it's JRR Tolkein-style inn above a pub! We are now trapped outside waiting for the pub to open in the afternoon. We are pathetic. All our bags and us, just sitting here on a picnic bench on the side of the road. Great way to kick off our experience in London! 10:30 AM: The French chef arrives, begs us not to ask too many questions because it is too early in the morning and he has a headache (for some reason this makes us suspect that he is an excellent chef, we are excited to eat here), and tells us that someone will be here in five minutes to let us in. 11:10 AM: A nice young man named Raphael allows us to store our bags in a secure room at the base of the stairs. 5:30 PM: After a trip to the British Museum, we walk past the Hilton and the Travelodge and wish we'd stayed at the Travelodge, which claims to be cheaper on Google for our requested dates. But still, we check into the hotel. We have to pay at time of check-in, so we ask to see the room first. Raphael calls his boss, who agrees. Raphael is super-nice about our request. The shared (among four rooms) bathroom is clean and houses toilet, shower, and hand soap. Towels are in our room. The windows are double-paned but can be opened to the street outside. A friendly Brit walks by and waves at me as I peek out the window.

Nice small pub close to Euston station for a quick pint. Relatively expensive though paid £5.60 for a pint of Iguanitas.

Needed a place for one night and this was the cheapest find online for this area. Wasn't expecting much, but was presently surprised. Room was clean, tidy and well equipped. The shared bathroom is not ideal, but it was all fine considering the price. Above a nice traditional pub, which was a bonus. No worries at all.

Took three hours to make 3 tescos pepperoni pizzas. Could have made the dough, grown my own tomatoes and cured my own meat in less time.

Cheapest accommodation we found. Sharing bathroom and very hot room. We stayed for 3 nights. All appliances working: oven, job, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster.

Loved this gem of a pub! We had a great room it was so clean and all the bed linen smelt so fresh!. One night stay was actually very reasonably priced. It is in a good location close to great places in London x perfect stay x staff were lovely too! Recommend very much. Thanks.

Location is great. The room was OK and good bathroom. Blonde staff girl couldn't have been any more rude. When I asked if I could use the iron that I used the previous day she shouted that they didn't have one. I politely said that I had used one the previous and that if it would be possible to ask someone else because I had used it already, she got really angry with a terrible attitude turned her back on me and said she would check later. Worst possible image one could give to their customers. Will not coming back.

Food is just fine! I ordered a Caesar salad and it was not as I expected! Lots of variety of beers. The atmosphere is good and the pub is not so crowded even during the rush hours!

Good music and a slightly unusual and mixed clientele. Close to Euston station. This is a proper boozer and I like it.

Brilliant stay, we only stopped for one night due to an early appointment at great ormond street the next morning but for the price we paid we got more than expected. The staff were wonderful the rooms were perfectly fine and the bathroom facilities were okay, too. We will definitely be going back!

Loved it. Very helpful and friendly staff, sadly me and the husband couldn't get a double but had to settle for a twin which wasn't a problem. We were off to great ormond street in the morning and had a very nice stay there. 5+ stars.

Clueless and defensive (French? ) manageress who wouldn't give me her name. Rang bell at 22:30 on a Friday night when pub was advertised to close at 23:30. Charged me a double (2x25ml) for the standard 50ml measure of port sold by law. Don't go here. Owner really should take note if this pub is going to survive. Seriously, go elsewhere.

Great place to avoid the Euston scrum if your train is late or you have time to kill. Say hi from me to the bar staff!

It's an old Victorian style pub with a great atmosphere, close together seating and a feeling of warm friendliness. The food is knee slappingly good and you'll even get a candle on your table. It's one of those pubs where you feel like you've tied your horse out front or parked your pennyfathing. Leave your pretentious attitude at the door and come on in for an ale. (I accidentally left my umbrella there and the bar maiden ran down the street to give me it. Enough said).

Stayed there for 1 night. The staff are friendly. The food are good. Rooms clean. And the price I think is very affordable.

"As you walk in to our pub, you will notice two things: first, a gentle hubbub of conversation, counterpointed by relaxed background music which contributes to a warm and genial ambiance; secondly, a welcome greeting from our staff. With eye contact, a smile and a quick, "Please take a seat and we will bring the drinks to your table, " you will feel immediately at ease and, once you have experienced our snappy service, it is unlikely that you will feel the need to go to the bar again as we aim to cater for your every need. " Er no.

A proper London pub, wood paneling, well kept ales, great lighting, decent music, avoids gastro pretensions. Definitely coming back.

Decent pub grub, had a great black and tan there. Landlord is friendly.

Used to do lovely Thai food, but now just regular pub grub that is nothing special so not worth the bother. However ten times better than the George along the road.
