Rooms were very small but clean. Bathroom modern but had some minor issues such as heavy rust on the shower rail. The door handle to the bathroom was also broken. The TV in the room had poor viewing quality and the free view wasn't available. The breakfast was very good, the dining area and small lounge was delightful. By far the best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone we saw and spoke to were polite, friendly and always smiling. Absolutely flawless customer service all around. They should be very very proud of themselves. Ultimately I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Please do not waste your money on this hotel. We had a broken pipe in our room which caused mould promblems and damp all over our carpet. We were offered only 30 pounds compensation. It was utterly disgraceful. We were told we were lucky to get this price of 130 pounds, very very rude mangers. After 4 days every manger refused to speak to me, and were so rude. It was very dangerous having leaking pipes and sodden carpet, please be warned that this is a danger to our health and do not want to risk anyone else going under the same thing we had to.

Hotel to the height. Friendly staff and friendly room, free of noise and impeccable cleanliness.

A huge disappointment. Yes it’s in a good location and yes it’s cheaper than other options in the area, but you will be clearly sacrificing quality if you choose this option.

Great location for the Hilton Park lane with lovely breakfast, rooms are very small but a nice pub is only 5 min away.

The heating was not great on a snowy weekend in London but the location is fantastic, price quality winner.

Hotel is worn in need of a refurb but very clean, staff friendly and position is perfect. The price paid was excellent value and would definitely use it again.

A real disappointment. General maintenance does not feature as part of hotel life as a result, the place is very run down and tired. When we arrived, a pipe had burst in reception so smelly water was dripping from the ceiling which you had to dodge to get to the lifts. In the room, whilst relatively clean, where the bedroom carpet met the bathroom tiles, the carpet was threadbare and wet. The staff were very pleasant, no complaints there, but not value for money and would definitely not choose to stay again. I expected a far better standard.

Tired but comfortable with good food, friendly staff but above everything else superb location & excellent value.

Having read a lot of negative reviews I was pleasantly greeted by a lovely lady at reception who was very helpful. My wife and I had a lovely clean and comfortable room on the 5 th floor which was quiet and warm. The staff are pleasant and courteous and despite choosing a bitterly cold few days for our London trip we were lucky to choose a nice hotel so central to the museums at Kensington and the theatres at the West End. I will stay again.

An older, less luxurious hotel than the £400 a night palaces in the area for sure, but a small, nice double room, a nice sitting area and bar in the lobby, and very accommodating staff made it a great stay.

Nice enough hotel (especially when the Company's paying). Close to Hyde Park, 0.3 mile from tube stations. Lift to all floors. Some rooms are quite small. Oil filled radiator provided in winter as central heating not sufficient in cold weather (heaters do great job). Views from the windows are of other windows/buildings as is generally the case in London. Small bar and lounge area by reception on ground floor.

Company was paying so can't comment on the price but my stay here was good. As with a lot of London hotels the views from the window are generally views of other windows or the back wall of somewhere else! The heating is inadequate in the coldest weather (it was below freezing in London during my stay) so oil filled radiators were provided in the rooms which did a really good job of heating the room up. Good breakfast selection although the cooked breakfast was not quite hot enough. Small bar (London hotel prices ~£7/drink) that is late opening and there's a small seating area by the reception.

The room was small the wall paper was ripped the rooms were cold as the heater wasn’t working and they put a small electric heater. The bathroom was full of cobwebs. Shower was really poor quality Wasn’t cleaned properly Only good thing is the food was lovely! Wasn’t happy on this experience and I wouldn’t waste my money going again I’d book else where.

Reception and bar area look great and feel modern, unfortunately that's where it stops. The rooms are small and in desperate need of renovation. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Absolutely at the level of aspettarive. Kind. Only note: Breakfast excluded and the cost of more than 16 pounds, in line for a 4 star, but not that the need to pay immediately as the bar without being able to charge it on the room.

Place held very well, central and comfortable area for the means.

They call it 4 stars, the only few stars you can give to this hotel are for, prime location and friendly staffs! Rooms are quite small and clean, free Wifi, TV and of course safe box in room. If you book it online, you can get in range of 100$ but at hotel ridiculously they ask for £249! Don't pay extra £11.95 for breakfast, you can get a good one at restaurants nearby for £5.45

The hotel's location was excellent since it's a 10 minute all from Buckingham palace. The room was a bit small but for the price you can't complain.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, minutes walk away from Buckingham Palace etc, unfortunately, that's where the positives end. On arriving at our allocated room (102), the corridor smelled extremely damp. The rooms were very dated. It had a Versatemp air condition unit that was so loud that it was very quickly switched off. During our first nights stay we were awoken by our neighbours coming in and switching on their tv. We were then kept awake by them moving around the room, closing doors, setting the safe etc. It sounded as if the soundproofing was as thick as the wallpaper, and they might as well have been in the same room as us. This went on for some time. We would have phoned reception, but the phone in our room had a number of buttons missing, and no obvious way of using it to do so. We ended up banging on the wall. Once this noise had died down, our attention was drawn to just how much noise we could hear from outside the hotel. We could hear almost everything, even people walking along having a normal conversation. At one point I checked to make sure our window was fully closed, such was the amount of noise we could hear. My wife mentioned this to reception the following morning. We were advised that we should have contacted them during the night, so she explained about the phone etc. We were told that the manager would be informed of the issue.

Don't waste your money! Hotel is filthy, staff have zero level of customer service and I was left feeling totally ripped off. Never again will I return!

Hotel too overvalued, bad breakfast.

We got a really good deal staying overnight at the Park Lane Mews. It's a hotel in a great neighborhood, a short walk from the parks. For the area, the accommodation we got was very good. When we got there early to drop off our bags (before check in time) the reception staff were very helpful. The experience gets three instead of five stars because the room itself was a little old, and not in a vintage way. When we came back late on the night of our stay (a little past midnight) a staff member we met was both disheveled and grumpy.

Whilst the service was good and indeed I received a free upgrade to a double room, I was very glad I had. The single bed would definitely been too small! Old fashioned decor and boxy furniture meant that the promise of the exterior was washed away. That and an expensive pre-booked by hotel taxi ride to the station which left a bad taste in my mouth, means that I won't be staying there again!

It's located a few blocks from Buckingham Palace. We booked last second because we wanted more time to explore London. They room was small, fine, however the shower was inoperable. Whatever, good ole poor man shower does the trick. The staff made up for anything wrong here. Marco, worked the graveyard shift along with the bartender. The lobby was quaint and cozy. I was jet lagged so I was up and ready to hang. These guys were great and kept me company for hours.

Don't go, you deserve better. I have no idea how this hotel has 4 star. The rooms are so dusty that you can actually smell the dust. The owner should really invest in a renovation. The personnel is nice, and they deserve to work in a better hotel.

Nice hotel and well located for those who go to London for tourism.

Great location. Staff friendly but not particularly attentive. Much of the decor was tired but not offensive. Fantastic water pressure. My breakfast was fine, my dad's wasn't. I'd stay again for the price.

Great value given the location — decor is a little tired — could do with a refresh, but overall a good hotel. Breakfast was decent.

Hotel is very comfortable, very central and the and welcome that you get from Sandya the receptionist is amazing she is so professional, kind, helpful she is a wonderful ambassador for front of house in any hotel. Many thanks to all the staff in the Park Lane Mews Yvonne Dublin Ireland.

Small and dated rooms; the halways look old. However that was not the worst part, that was the service. There is very limited room for breakfast, so as breakfast is included you can't have any as there is no table available. The staff and especially the front desk did not do anything to help or offer an apology for this inconvenience. We got a very rude you will just have to wait! how long they could not say as most table were just occupied. We decided to have breakfast somewhere else. On checkout I asked for a discount because I was not able to have breakfast which I did not get because it was included in the price and I did not want to wait. So breakfast is included on availability is what they should advertise! terrible experience and hotel, would not recommend to anyone…

Appalling! Have worked in Hotels for much of my early career and can honestly say this is the worst Hotel I have ever seen. I have taken photographic evidence of how shockingly bad the room was. The stroppy madam on the checkin desk did not help either. I only gave this a star because you have to to submit your review.

Great price, great location.

Perfect location for my taste. Area very nice, English bars close, Hard Rock Cafe (the original) 2 blocks, metro. Nice hotel with small rooms, excellent breakfast.

Wow, my hair has never felt so good, the service and attention to details is amazing, I leave feeling energised and fresh. The smell and swager enable you to relax and enjoy a well earned bit of pamper time to get you away from your hectic lifestyle, really worth a visit! A must for all men who want that little bit extra.

Worth looking around on hotel websites as we paid over half less what they advertised themselves. Apart from that, cracking location, nice room, quite, staff friendly and the breakfast was a belter.

Was nearly put off by some poor reviews but checked it out in person and have just spent a week at the hotel in some hot May weather. Found the first floor rooms had been renovated and whilst the bathroom was small, the shower was good. Huge comfortable bed, excellent air con. Good English cooked breakfasts, sometimes had to wait a few minutes for more freshly fried eggs to arrive but no big deal. Staff all friendly and helpful. Great location and quiet, and a very short walk to the fun Shepherd Market area.

Nice service but old building.

This place is the worst. No heating in most rooms in mid winter. After complaining twice and getting electric shock off a heater finally got a working portable heater. Very unfriendly staff, understaffed, under managed, unacceptable. Just don't stay here.

Bad hotel, after a night has changed the number of TC toilet didn't go down. In another went down for the third time. Shower is not removed. Bath unclean. Breakfast (monotonous stuff), without warning, then require payment. Staff хамоваты, чернявая aunt on my demand adapter for laptop (of their duty) said that all give out, and I proposed to call a taxi. A bitch. So they turned, talk to them loud and harsh, to shoot down with them arrogance.
