Myself and 7 year old son enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. Nicely located down a quiet street, welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was on the first floor at the rear of the building overlooking the terrace. We used the lift to get up there as my son loves using a lift! Our double room was pretty spacious for London sizes and we had an extra length extra width bed, a really good size. The room was a good temperature, and we could open and close the window if needed without having to worry about any noise from outside, it was so quiet. My son enjoyed the large flat screen TV, and I made us a cuppa using the facilities in the room. The ensuite was well presented, and the shower was lovely and hot and I enjoyed the complimentary toiletries. The bed was comfortable, I found the room nicely decorated. The breakfast was good enough for both me and my son. He had a bowl of coco pops, a croissant with jam, some Brie and a satsuma. I had a couple of croissants with Brie and then some jam, then a hard boiled egg. There was toast, bread rolls, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, meats, yogurts. Also, fruit juices and tea and coffee. We were full. I noticed tables were cleared quickly and foods were replenished quickly. We would definitely come here again. Bayswater Station is a ten minute stroll away, super easy, and lots of restaurants and pubs in the area.

Thought this was main stream 4 star hotel from the website pics only to find it a B&B rated 4 star. There was building works being carried on workers were coming in and out of window not allowing us to recover from a hangover. However the staff were friendly and helpful which sweetened the initial disappointment.

Hotel located in the very nice Notting Hill neighborhood, close to the metro, sweet and salty mixed breakfast… you can improve! … The room a little small… very nice staff. It was a premium trip so I can't tell if there was good value.

Professional and friendly staff! Clean, coast and nice atmosphere! Only reco if weather continues be so hot put conditioned air in all rooms, other way it’s good experience for the price.

How this is four star is beyond me. Staff couldn’t be less helpful, rooms are tiny, no room service, no robes, no toiletries except a small amount of shower gel. The towels feel as though they’re made of wood and the sheets are changed only every three days (if at all). The breakfast is awful so please don’t pay extra for stale bread and warm milk on your cheap cereal. Think two star B and B and you won’t be disappointed. Come here with four star in your head and be prepared to waste a lot of money. Avoid.

Lovely room, nice breakfast. Great for a few nights in london. Just be aware it is a little far out from a lot of the major sites. We stayed whilst engineering works were going on which locked down the whole tube line nearby.

Great overnight accommodation. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great location and a pleasure staying somewhere with character.

Small rooms… average breakfast. Not worth the 4 stars.

Service is great and breakfast is delicious! Only downside is the tiny "deluxe" room we have with almost no space to fit our luggage and still have room to stand on the floor… also no shower curtain so the bathroom floor is pretty wet.

It is not a three star but it is still clean and equipped with lift.

Intimate hotel serving excellent breakfast. In a peaceful Georgian square, but only a 10 minute walk from the tube and Kensington Gardens.

It is well located, not far from the metro station. Breakfast. Poor! The room 110 very small! There was no room for two people, the shower was miniature and the shower had no screen and you wet the whole bathroom. If come back we would have to ensure the size of the room!.

A really disappointing hotel. Noisy and with a bad comfort.

Staff was accommodating and trustworthy. The location was off the grid and private. The cost is reasonable compared to other places. Your room will be small and that is just the reality of staying in a city like London. The breakfast in the morning had numerous options for all diets. My only complaint was a weird experience where I thought someone was knocking at my door but I was not sure because of the way sound travels in the small corridors.

My wife and I stayed at the New Linden for a few days on a recent trip to London. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the room was very nice. We would be happy to stay there again.

The Ne Linden Hotel is not an Hotel but a guest accommodation. The rooms are very small like the bathrooms. I slept in a double room superior but it was near the reception and I heard everything during the night or in the morning. The breakfast is poor. The only good thing is the central position. In my opinion, bad experience. To avoid.

Nice staff, clean rooms. Perfect location and it's a nice hotel I would go there another time in the future.

Worth the price, clean, cute and comfortable small room (you cannot expect a Palast in central London for the price…), but the best was the friendly, lovely and welcoming staff! Asking about our day every night we came back and always interested about our plans in the morning. Printed boarding passes at the reception, kept luggage safe.
Close to three underground stations.

The receptionists are great and very helpful. Location is ok as very close to the station. Squeaky bedroom floor, breakfast not great.

The reception staff were friendly & helpful & the location was excellent but I am afraid after initial good impression things went down hill. My room was in the basement & the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in or rather didn't sleep in as the boiler room was right next door making the racket I would expect from trains shunting at Clapham junction so I was kept awake all night! Breakfast was adequate for a continental one but nothing was refrigerated no English breakfast option & the breakfast room was small & in the basement which made it feel even smaller. Not a 4 star hotel in my book.

How could be possible that a 4 star hotel even have enough room to have breakfast in the morning? I have to wait 7min until someone leave an empty table. Rooms are pretty small and clean Front desk people are helpful.

Excellent reception, great breakfast and rooms are perfect for a quick 1-3 night stay. I say only three nights because the rooms are small — however you get Amazing value. As a solo traveller you would be ok extending your stay for a regular length of time. Couples might find the situation a bit cramped after a few nights. Beds were very comfortable, showers are large with great pressure and really hot water And last but not least — the towels are huge!

Isn't a 4 star. We were welcomed by a lovely lady just then when went to room everything went down hill. The room was so small for what we paid and the bathroom you felt like you were a mole or something. The bed your legs will hang off and the room is nothing like the pictures. Breakfast we had to stand and wait for a table for at least 15 minutes. Plus the food had nothing to keep the fridge stuff cold so was warm yogurt and fruit etc. If you want extremely basic and don't mind paying 4 star price then it's fine. But not worth the money. Great location though and as I said the best thing was the blonde lady on the desk when we arrived. Lovely and friendly lady just the only one. All the other staff at breakfast etc looked miserable.

The staff were very friendly and very clean… breakfast so-so but quite varied.

Location was fine. I had a basement room, which was tiny, very stuffy (didn't want to leave large window open through the night) and bed was on wheels on a wooden floor — nearly broke my neck getting in bed! I was also kept awake by the noise of the room above and the sound of other rooms taps and extractor fans! I also asked if I could get any breakfast early due to a business appointment, which wasn't possible.

Room was small, but clean and had everything needed. Employees were very nice and very helpful. Large breakfast with assorted breads/meats/cheeses/fruits.

Attention/be carrefull with this hotel, I spare you the details, we have seen amazing/incredible things (excrement on the walls of the bathroom, tiny room located against the breakfast the slot room floor, drain in the shower clogged…) combo, triple combo, win youuuuu!

Nice hotel in a quiet area in central London. Rooms are well designed and very clean, breakfast starts a little late at 7:30 (which isn't ideal with a bit of jet-lag…)

Pleasant enough hotel, my major gripe though is with the time of breakfast, specifically that if you have start work before 9 and work is 8~9 tube stops away, a breakfast start time of 7.30 means that breakfast at the hotel does not happen for you. You are effectively paying for something that comes with you room that you cannot use. For a hotel that touts itself as having four stars, this unacceptable, breakfast should start at 7 at the very latest.

Stayed very often. Good clean rooms, staff very helpful. Some rooms are very small so need to be selective and higher priced rooms are well worth it. Great location.

Very conveniently located hotel nestled just near Bayswater station. Could easily reach any place in London very quickly and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit small but for the very great price and location of the hotel, it is an absolute gem. Will certainly come back here.

This was a last minute booking and priced extremely reasonable. Staff pleasant on reception. The hotel is immaculate and beautiful inside. Really historic. Room was appointed very well, although small. Perfect for our needs. The bed was good but one half of the mattress was dipping in the middle. However not a huge problem for one night. Shower room very nice and clean. Lovely white fluffy towels. Breakfast was included being continental and very nicely displayed, plenty to choose from. Staff here were also very pleasant and helpful. My husband and I really appreciated this stay. Would highly recommend it.

Needed a room easily accessible to central London. I was looking for clean, affordable and friendly. I found all my boxes were checked along with a (small) but newly remodeled bathroom. Absolutely recommend!

Only positive thing is friendly staff. Expensive Price but room and service are definitely disappointing.

Super helpful staff, clean rooms, and quiet location. We had a street facing room on 3 with a nice view. The room was small but that was okay with me since I didn't plan to be there often.

The staff were friendly. Hotel easy to find. Room clean and tidy. Can't ask for more. With room being underground I couldn't get a phone signal while in Hole. This was very frustrating, but that's the only negative in our otherwise positive stay.

Charming place in a great location — good value.

Wonderful. We received a very warm welcome to this spotlessly clean homely hotel. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful — from the receptionists to cleaners. Reception staff were a fount of knowledge for all things local and further afield. Breakfast did not have a cooked option, but there was plenty of choice of other fresh foods available. Restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Portabello Road, tubes and bus stops into London. Cycle hire across the road. In a quiet area near to Hyde Park Couldn't have been happier and will definitely stay again when next in London, I'd give it 11/10.

Great price and the service was fine. Room was clean and tidy. Negatives were that the room was tiny and in a basement. It was also quite a confusing hotel to find, with the street being in a T-shape.

Friendly staff, great room, and amazing location of hotel. However, it was not as quiet as I would've liked, and the bed was not that comfortable.

In room 304 of the soul flows boiling water! Three days can't fix.
