Small rooms for low prices. Friendly staff. Front door stays unlocked and lobby is staffed 24/7. Inclusive breakfast and unlimited tea coffee and hot chocolate. But the rooms really are small.

Location of the hotel totally central. Ideal if you want to visit London. But you have to reckon with the fact that it is very noisy at night on the relatively busy streets in front of the window. Staff very nice and friendly. Room very small. But enough is enough to make sure you're only there at night. Bathroom unfortunately smelled very unpleasant. But ventilation was available. Breakfast was okay. Jam, toast, croissants and what to drink warm like O juice, as well as 1 type of sausage and 1 type of cheese. Every morning. One day there was also yoghurt with muesli and ham. All in all, you can definitely stay there if you don't have high standards.

Cheap and cheerful for staying in central London but obviously not with the advantages of the more expensive options. Probably best for a single person or young people.

Worst hotel ever, fair breakfast, beds are not clean they have bed bugs — if you have children with you just stay away from this hotel — a lot of dust as they do not seem to care about cleaning.

Very small rooms, but absolutely sufficient for a city trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a matter of getting used to the fact that the shower and toilet were not in a combined bathroom, but small wall indentations with doors, the doors are transparent. The cleanliness was fine, the bed comfortable and not too well located. The location is absolutely excellent at the price, with 2 metro stations just 5 minutes walk away and a variety of restaurants in the immediate area. On the ceiling in the shower was unfortunately some mold and a tile in the bathroom was broken, a power outlet and a light bulb did not work, but these are minimal smears that we (couple holiday, city trip, 21 & 19 years) liked to make a tidy room in central but quiet location at a reasonable price. It is also somewhat impractical that there is no cupboard. For this there is a good breakfast included.
In summary, I would describe the hotel as suitable for a city trip, for people who do not have too high demands, rather want to stay in the hotel and/or want to take a cheap holiday.

Website said there was parking available. There was not. Unhelpful male receptionist who asked only where I was from rather than giving solutions or apologising. Tiny rooms for huge prices but continental breakfast good if not very varied (hence the star). Please take down reference to parking as it is misleading and may result in other bad reviews.

Very well located. Refurbishing. Doing their best. Place to bed only. No amenities. A local neighborhood atmosphere. Would return.

The room was rather small but adequate. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very quiet despite its central location at night. You can reach 2 metro stations with 2 different lines on foot at a distance of a few hundred metres and thus get anywhere quickly. The selection at the breakfast buffet is rather small but sufficient for me. The room was not clinically pure but clean at every angle. The shower was equipped with a high-quality branded shower head. Unfortunately, the walls are rather thin and you can hear the other guests when they come home later. But since the hotel is not so big, luckily this is not too common. All in all, I was very pleased. For 2 stars, I actually got more than I would have expected. So if you are not looking for a luxury hotel, but a clean accommodation in a central location with friendly staff, I can recommend this hotel.

The Worst hotel I've ever seen! Not even free we will return, filthy, small, and ill-placed.

Room really too small to be sold as a quadruple not to mention the bathroom which was a small storeroom. The only thing I save are the staff.

When I confrontede the manager regarding the over charge the Porter called me a liar so must have pocketed the differnce as we paid cash and he only rang in £ 36.60 hhhhhhhm There are many far better places than this — cleaner and cheaper.

Very dirty small rooms without air-condition and basic hygiene standards, full of dust, humidity and muld all over. Dirty walls. They put the clean sheets on the floor to put them on the beds. Didn't accept to move us to a different room. They cannot sell these rooms stay away.

Great for couples, many restaurants in the area and nearby metropolitan.

The room is small but has everything: private bathroom, smart TV. Breakfast included very good (not British) and friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money.

Hotel a few steps from Hyde Park, its squirrels and parakeets. Less than 5 minutes walk to 2 metro stations and a street lined with shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and responsive. The downside is that all the rooms are not worth.

The only good thing was the attention. The hotel is very small and I mean everything, the hallways, the stairs and also the room. A large person will not be able to use the bathroom which is very small.
Another detail to know is that it is in works, with this I mean that there are holes in the walls, dust everywhere, furniture and tools in the hallways and even leaks. Finally if you think that the breakfast included will save you… well you're wrong. It is so basic that the coffee they serve is instantaneous (Nescafé).

The place is dirty, It has flies in the main corridors, my room was not cleaned to a hotel standard. Lights blew out in room twice. The curtain was disgusting ripped and stained. Really questioning living standards of anyone who gives this hotel a higher rating. Wall fittings are not attached properly was waiting to electrocute myself at some point. Spent two nights of my three nights stay, with friends in London, as I did not feel comfortable staying in hotel.

The room we stayed in was very small and noisy. We could her the guest upstairs as if he were stomping across the floor. There was no air conditioning but they did have a ceiling fan. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable.

Hotel Horible, what a nightmare! Unsanitary Hotel. Fleas in the bed, fleas! A dilapidated room. There is no security. When we called the manager to show him, he didn't even apologize. This hotel is not standard, it should close.

Unsanitary hotel, my bed was infested with fleas! I have bites all over my body and I am taumatized for life. This is a disgusting and dangerous hotel. No safety standards. They made me live a nightmare. The boss does not take responsibility. The TV does not work and no light in the showers. That's it! ;

Stayed in New Dawn Hotel summer 2016 onwards. I have to say — I strongly disagree with the hotel. Of the advantages I can note only the hotel's location is the city centre can be easily reached or go on foot for about half an hour. I can't say that we had a bad breakfast: very friendly and polite employee in the kitchen offers all the tea or coffee with milk or without a choice, brings a toast with jam or butter. You can yourself take fruit yogurt, pour the orange juice and milk. There are muffins with chocolate, apples, bananas, "cereals", IE. Flakes. As regards weaknesses, my room with two beds was very small and uncomfortable, there is nowhere to even turn around. The same goes for the bathroom: one person there extremely difficult. Sockets are under the bed, leaving her all the time we need to move. No adaptors Hotel does not provide, but this is not a problem: you can buy them in the shops nearby. The room very stuffy, and you cannot open the window. Here is a very bad noise: sounds of machines, the voices of people and even knock suitcases heard so clearly if itself are on the street. In a room not cleaned properly: dirt and dust beneath and behind the nightstand, under beds and under the suitcases. Garbage take out irregularly, bed linen not changed for all time stay at all. The walls were obšarpany, somewhere visible dirty corners, floor creaked in some places.

Basic hotel in a good location and a nice breakfast (thanks to the lovely lady serving toast and coffee). But the rooms were quite small and didn't smell all that good, only thing good about the rooms were the bathrooms.

I have never written a review but really I feel the need to make them see how disastrous that has been… I don't know even where to start…
It is the least hygienic thing I've seen in my life, all shattered, the foul, raised throughout the hotel carpet… The painting desconchada (la de las ventanas inclusive).
Small rooms, and the tiny bathroom, a person was barely in it. To part of that, because of the location and the price cannot be expected, more intolerable was the smell. There was a horrible smell that came from bath and room in general, although the breath of stink already is just entering the 'hall'. Not only this, could not leave the room venting because of a room to another can be passed over the balcony, with which the smell was still there.
Really, nothing advisable. All conditions is the breakfast and the girl who serves it is pleasant. The receptionists were well relaxed in their seats with all the keys that were dropping on the table… I do not know how to remain open…

Have just stayed at New Dawn for 2 nights… 7 of us in 2 rooms, and I just want to say how good value it was! Near to everything… smiling and helpful staff, hot water, clean beds, comfy beds, excellent croissants and as much breakfast as we could eat… lots of coffee… I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone… OK, not the Hilton, but then again, not Hilton prices!

35 pounds per person per night + breakfast and good facilities.

July 2105. Very good hubicacion, 200m Hight Park, 100m from the metro, 200 meters from the bus stops of many bus, very nice neighborhood, very pretty surroundings, supermarkets, markets, smaller meals, rest-bar, shoping. Staff excellent reception, staff cafeteria the young Alvanesa excellent, room small, modern, bed comodisima, window to the street bed, tv, free Wi-Fi, no closet at least the room that we play, but if with coat rack, small bathroom modern. Hygiene and change of towels could be better, accesses something messy time in the carpet. Coffee shop for our excellent taste, very nice and clean, servian milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, juices, breads of all kinds, croasant, buns with chocolate chips, cerales, sweets, butter, fruits and also salty foods, to repeat what you want. Come back without thinking since we are only in the hotel to sleep and we are not interested in luxury, the price of this agreement with the service. We are from Spain, born in Argentina.

The rooms are small and a little bit dusty but the bathroom is clear. Breakfast is okay, and the hotel is good located.

I have never written a review for anything before but I was so disappointed with this hotel that I felt the need to. It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Two single beds a small bedside cabinet bewteen the beds and a tiny, cramped shower room. A tiny rail with 3 hangers. The draft from the window was so bad that, it felt like there was a fan on in the room. The window also rattled on it's own in the wind. As you can imagine, this made it very noisy, there may as well been no window. The shower literally dribbled water. When I complained the man from the desk came up and told me I had to hold it in a certain position to get it to come out faster. At this point I was not very polite, to which I managed to get the shower head changed (this helped slightly) The rest of the hotel was very shabby, the carpets not reaching the walls and edges, everything tired and in need of replacement. The icing on the cake was when we went for breakfast the next morning. To find there were 5 tables, all fully occupied. We were asked to join a few empty seats at someone elses table. We couldn't believe it. There are 28 rooms and 5 breakfast tables. Completely inadequate. We waited in the tiny reception until there was a table free. Breakfast was basic but ok, the lady serving was very pleasant. Unfortunately though, two other people were put on our table, which we found very uncomfortable.

Very disappointed to see the images on their website. We have not had the chance to have a pretty room, I don't even speak of the bathroom. If you love make your need with your shampoo and brushing your teeth is perfect, otherwise avoid.
Friendly staff, but it would have the remain on sick leave at home, hear him coughing has a role on little sleep obtained.
For summary: 3 nights in this hotel it is possible but very expensive paid.
Go I end up with a positive point: good geographic location.

If you aren't afraid of cockroaches, dirty rooms, bathrooms type toilet TGV with bad smells. You can book. If not go your way this hotel should be closed for a long time. The beds look like beds of army camps with 3 cm in Spring mattress. I don't even talk no breakfast! In the basement of the hotel, orange juice powder diluted with water. In short. Sacred scam.
All simply horrible and disgusting.

I have spent here two days while waiting for a Kristofferson concert. You really MUST avoid this hotel, it is untidy and busted. The bathrooms are very very very small and dirty. I do not recommend it to any of you.

My wife and I stood four days in this Hotel. Very pretty outside (THE OPPOSITE INSIDE), central located, near the underground and near Hyde Park. But after two nigth I had some blister. We thought that I soffer an allergy against some food. After few days the skin of the arms and legs were covered with itchy bubbles. When I went to my doctor he immediately send me to a dermatological hospital. Well the conclusion was that I had an allergical reaction to lots bedbug stings. It is more ten thirty years that travelled in all the World, expecially in the so called third World, in little Hotel or worse, but never we have had troubles like this one. If someone knows a specialized lawyer we will take legal action against with pleasure.
