Not for students. I was under the impression that the house was catered to students however my roommate was a 70 year old woman who was smoking in the room (and pretty mean to be honest). I have nothing against living with someone elderly, but a) smoking b) very mean c) I think that mightve been her permanent home because there were 3 giaaaant suitcases and d) I was expecting a student. Front desk people were OK in dealing with this. Eventually I left but I wasn’t really taken seriously till the very end. I only ever really saw the common area and room. Rooms are find and rest of the place is under construction and kind of dark. Overall glad I left. EDIT: response to reply I’m a little surprised at the response because the reason I thought I wasn’t being taken seriously is because I was told the place was fully booked and I could not be moved UNTIL I asked to leave. Funnily enough, a room became available once I had said I no longer wished to stay there. Obviously these reviews aren’t taken seriously either.
The location is nice and it is easy to get around. The meals are included in the stay and this is great because you don't have to worry about shopping… The staff are nice enough and the hostel is reasonably clean… most of the times, but you do get a few 'idiots' from time to time who try to wreck things for everyone. But, the staff are good and getting them out the door!
